Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 La Rioja Alta "904" Gran Reserva Rioja (97JS, 95JG, 95RP). James Suckling: "Wonderful purity of fruit with a strawberry, currant and plum character. Full and velvety body with ultra-fine tannins and a delicious fresh and fruity finish. Classic Rioja style. Que lindo!" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2007 Alvaro Palacios "Les Terrasses" Priorat (92RP, 91ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Les Terrasses is the same blend as the Camins cuvee but entirely sourced from old vines. It spent 12 months in 20% new French oak. Aromas of mineral, Asian spices, espresso, black cherry, and black raspberry lead to a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, smooth-textured wine. Savory, moderately structured, and approachable, it may evolve for 1-2 years but can be enjoyed now and over the next 6-8 years. (JM)" (04/2010)
Starting Bid: $315.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Cune "Imperial" Reserva Rioja (94JS, 93VN, 93WE, 93WS, 92RP, 92W&S). James Suckling: "Lots of plum, chocolate and rose aromas. Licorice and cloves too. Very subtle yet rich. Full-bodied, very fine and balanced. Lovely firm and silky mouthfeel. It still needs some bottle age to soften but is already long and beautiful. Elegant. Drink or hold." (07/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Bodegas Muga "Prado Enea" Gran Reserva Rioja (95RP, 94JS, 94ST, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I posted the eternal question about 2004 versus 2005 when tasting the 2004 Prado Enea. Instead of answering the question, they reached for a bottle of the 2005 Prado Enea Gran Reserva to check what is happening. The nose is almost as young and undeveloped as the 2004, but it's on the palate where I see that the 2005 shows a little more polish and is perhaps a little less complete than the 2004. Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Vega Sicilia "Unico" Ribera del Duero (95RP, 94WS, 93VN, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They have kept 2005 and 2006 for now, and they are releasing the 2007 Único from a lighter vintage that is accessible already; they will even sell 2008 before 2005 and 2006. 2007 was a cold vintage in Ribera and it produced lighter, fresher wines (perhaps not as problematic as 2008, but there was also frost in 2007). The wine might be a tad lighter than other vintages, but it's more structured than 2008; it combines elegance and power, is nicely balanced and should be able to develop in bottle for many years. Starting Bid: $550.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Clos Mogador, Priorat ((94-96RP), 96WE, 94VN, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Rene Barbier (Junior) kindly put together a blend of the five barrels that will go to constitute the 2010 Clos Mogador. It has a stricter, fresher bouquet than the 2009, with great minerality and sparkling precision. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins and wonderful purity. It exhibits notes of dark cherries, crushed stone, slate and touches of thyme and white pepper towards the finish, which has immense precision and focus. This is going to be a razor-sharp Clos Mogador – do not wait to place your order!Clos Mogador needs no introduction. Rene Barbier was a pupil of Jean-Claude Berrouet and is one of the 'founding fathers' in Priorat as part of the 'Gratallops group.' I met him for the first time at his home, located at the bottom of a never-ending winding dirt track and surrounded by vines. . (NM)" (04/2012)
