95 points James Suckling: "Aromas of freshly sliced mushrooms with blackberries, black cherries and some ripe strawberries. Medium to full body with dark fruit and chewy tannins. More structured in past vintages. Rather chewy. No sulfur added here. Drink or hold." (03/2021) K&L Notes: Piero Incisa della Rocchetta, the grandson of Sassicaia founder Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, ended up in Patagonia after tasting a bottle of Pinot Noir he fell in love with, and was told came from old vines in Patagonia. 92 points James Suckling: "An attractive, fresh array of ripe red berries and gently spicy nuances, leading to a very succulent palate that has darker-plum and cherry flavors, framed in fine-cut, fresh, smooth tannins." 93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The expressive and aromatic 2018 Blanco Edad Media is a blend of 60% Chardonnay, 30% Chenin Blanc and 10% Sauvignon Blanc that had a flinty and faintly reductive nose that I loved. The wine developed a thin layer of yeasts, and the effect is very subtle but it lifts the wine up and does not take over its character. The palate was austere and mineral, with some chalky tannins and a supple, tasty finish. 5,500 bottles were filled in February 2019." (10/2019) 93 points Vinous: "Bright medium yellow. Bracing aromas...
