93 points James Suckling: "Ripe apricot with salted butter and mango on the nose. Smoke and flint, too. It’s full-bodied and wonderfully creamy. Crisp acidity and lingering, cream notes. Drink or hold." (12/2020) 91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Made in an elegant and refined style, this tastes of apple skin, pear and just a hint of peach. With well-integrated oak providing a foundation, it has a rich underbelly of baking spice. (VB)" (04/2021)

93 points Wine & Spirits: "This is a blend of fruit from four vineyards in Carneros—two in the western reaches, including the Sangiacomo Home Ranch, one in the north and one to the south—all farmed to sustain a healthy yeast population for spontaneous fermentation in barrels. It’s tight and stony with zesty lemon-curd flavors, lasting on umami complexities. If you open it now, pour it with an onion, bacon and Gruyère tart; it’s also built for the cellar. (JG)" 92 points James Suckling: "Aromas of lime, spiced apple, smoke and cedar. It’s medium-to full-...

95 points James Suckling: "Aromas of white peaches, spiced apples, dried honeysuckle, lemon pith, cedar and cloves. It’s full-bodied with fresh acidity and a vibrant, tight and textured palate. Long and focused. Richer style and density. Drink now or hold." 90 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Starting with the three whites, the 2019 Chardonnay comes all from Los Carneros and offers a classic, juicy, medium-bodied style as well as pretty notes of melon, white peach, and honeyed flowers. Beautifully balanced, with nicely integrated acidity and a clean, lengthy finish, it’s ideal for drinking over the coming 2-3 years. " (01/2021)

94-96 points Jeb Dunnuck: "I've always loved the Chardonnay from this team, and their 2019 Chardonnay Red Shoulder Ranch has that classic richer, full-bodied style while staying balanced and light on its feet. Buttered lemons, tangerines, green almond, and toasty notes all make an appearance, and it's incredibly textured, with nicely integrated acidity and one heck of a finish. This powerful Chardonnay is going to impress right out of the gate." (01/2021) 92-94 points Vinous: "The 2019 Chardonnay Red Shoulder Ranch is a beautiful wine. Soft, creamy and...

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Aubert "Hudson Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay ((97-98JS), 98RP, 96VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming from Hudson selection, Old Wente clone vines that over 20 years old and planted on the Napa side of Carneros, the 2017 Chardonnay Hudson features super intense notes of freshly squeezed lemon, lime zest, warm apricots and honeydew melon with hints of hay, paraffin wax and crushed nuts plus a waft of cinnamon toast. The full-bodied palate is very tightly wound with electric tension and has loads of citrusy accents coming through on the very, very long finish. (LPB)" (10/2019)
