90-93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is aromatically similar to the Combettes at present though with the addition of glimpses of citrus elements. The delicious and intense middle weight flavors aren't quite as concentrated though they are more refined while displaying even more minerality on the lingering and focused finale that delivers impressive length. This is an interesting wine at present because it is lilting, indeed almost delicate yet I suspect that with time in bottle it will gradually put on weight and volume. *Outstanding*" (06/2020)...

92-94 points Vinous: "The 2019 Meursault Les Genevrières 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet displaying more terroir expression than the Meursault Charmes, hazelnut and lychee permeating the citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, smooth and harmonious, leading to a very persuasive, intense nutty/spicy finish. This is a lovely Meursault that should age with style. Excellent. (NM)" (12/2020) 91-93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières (Domaine Louis Jadot) opens in the glass with aro...

94 points Decanter: "A Meursault that's almost a Puligny, both in terms of geography and style, this is a wine that benefited from its altitude in 2018. Formerly a red vineyard until it was replanted in 1983, this is subtle, leesy and engagingly refreshing for the vintage, with well-handled 20% new wood, crunchy acidity and a taut, stony, lees-influenced finish. (TA)" (10/2019) 89-92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Pungent wisps of sulfur and reduction are all that are perceptible today. Otherwise there is very good intensity to the delicious, round...

93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Meursault 1er Cru Le Porusot (Récolte du Domaine) has turned out very nicely, opening in the glass with notes of citrus oil, Anjou pear, toasted hazelnuts and struck match. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, it's elegantly textural, with fine depth at the core, tangy acids and a long, precise finish. Impressively concentrated and dynamic for the vintage, it is well worth seeking out. (WK)" (01/2021) 90-92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A layered nose featuring notes of green fruit, lemon r...

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Henri Germain et Fils Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" ((91-93BH), 91VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here there are no such reductive notes with its pure and elegant nose that offers up notes of essence of spiced pear, citrus and acacia blossom scents. Beautifully delineated, intense and vibrant middle weight flavors possess a notably finer mouth feel while exhibiting excellent persistence on the dry and youthfully austere finale. This will also require at least moderate patience. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding*" (06/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Henri Germain et Fils Meursault 1er Cru "Poruzots" ((90-93BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Moderate reduction is enough to overshadow the underlying fruit today. Otherwise here too there is excellent volume and weight if not quite the sheer size to the sappy flavors that also possess good muscle on the solidly complex and perhaps even slightly longer finish. At least some patience will be required. *Outstanding*" (06/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Domaine des Comtes Lafon Meursault 1er Cru "Les Perrières" (95JG, 94BH, 94ST, 94VN, 93RP). John Gilman: "The 2011 Meursault “Perrières” from Domaine des Comtes Lafon is an absolute classic in the making, offering up a deep, primary and classy nose of apple, pear, a touch of passion fruit, chalky minerality, citrus zest and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and again, very, very pure on the attack, with a rock solid core of fruit, excellent focus and cut and a very, very long, perfectly balanced finish. This will drink sooner in relative terms than other top vintages here of Perrières, such as 2010, 2008, 2007 and 2004, but it will be every bit as fine as those other years and has the impeccable balance to also keep very well in bottle. 95+" (11/2012)
Starting Bid: $315.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Vincent Girardin Meursault 1er Cru "Les Perrières" ((91-94ST)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Aromas of lemon cream and powdered stone on the pure nose. Penetrating and minerally in the mouth, with complex flavors of lemon, lime, flowers and nut oils framed by impressive acidity. Dense and bright. Opens out and expands impressively on the back end. (ST)" (10/2003)
