Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine du Clos du Caillou "Reserve les Clos du Caillou" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The largest scaled and most concentrated in the lineup is easily the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape La Reserve, which is 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre that was raised all in demi-muids. Just a flat out sensational bottle of wine, it offers tons of black currants, licorice, roasted meats and toasted spice aromas and flavors in a full-bodied, seamless, perfectly balanced style that’s drunk well since release. It’s great today, but has another decade or more of longevity. (JD)" (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine du Pegau "Cuvée da Capo" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (100RP, 96VN, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A deeper, richer version of the Cuvee Reservee, the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee da Capo is one of the more youthful, concentrated wines of the vintage. Coming primarily from the la Crau lieu-dit and over 90% Grenache, aged in an old foudre, its deep ruby color is followed by a bonafide smorgasbord of Provencal aromas and flavors of garrigue, cured meats, incense, beef blood, black currants and pepper. While a full-bodied, incredibly concentrated, rich and unctuous wine, it carries its wealth of fruit and mid-palate density with incredible elegance and purity, with a seamless texture, no hard edges and a finish that won't quit. The 2007 is more elegant and seamless than both the 1998 and 2003, with an incredible sweetness of tannin. (JD)" (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $645.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine du Clos du Caillou "Les Quartz" Châteaunuef-du-Pape (97JD, 95RP, 95WS, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "In the same mold as the 2009, the 2007 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Quartz is an incredibly, sexy, Provençal, crazily perfumed beauty that could come from nowhere else. Lots of kirsch liqueur, blackberries, garrigue, licorice, and incense notes dominate the bouquet. Full-bodied, opulent, and powerful on the palate, it has sweet tannins, remarkable purity, and a great, great finish. It’s another tour de force from this estate that’s drinking at point today." Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Pierre Usseglio "Réserve des Deux Frères" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (100JD, 100RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the wines of this incredible vintage is unquestionably the 300-case 2007 Châteauneuf du Pape Reserve des Deux Freres from the Usseglio brothers. A big bruiser of a wine that has a huge core of cassis and black currant fruit, it gets more and more elegant with time in the glass and offers complex notes of roasted meats, garrigue, beef blood, licorice and truffle. Made from 100% Grenache aged mostly in new barrels, it’s absorbed every trace of its elevage and is just a sensational Chateauneuf du Pape to drink over the coming 10-15 years. (JD)" (02/2017)
