Bid on this bottle of 1968 Marchesi di Barolo "Giá Opera Pia" Barolo . Marchesi di Barolo (which used to be known as Opera Pia Barolo) is one of the region's most historic wineries. Marchesi Falletti was a former proprietor of the estate in the early 1800s and is widely considered to be the creator of what is now known as Barolo. The wines made here were and continue to be Nebbiolos of great breed and complexity.

Mouton Rothschild, always in the forefront of the greatest wines of Bordeaux, was the first estate to begin complete château-bottling of the harvest - a historic step initiated in 1924 by the late Philippe de Rothschild. It is the only château in the Classification of 1855 to achieve reclassification. In 1973, it was finally moved from a second growth to a first.
