"Aged in French oak wine barrels for twelve months with distinct characteristics of fruit and subtle oak" sounds more like a description of wine than beer. However, Temptation is indeed beer. Temptation is a Blonde Ale aged in French oak chardonnay barrels with Brettanomyces. Flavors of wine and oak absorb into the brew throughout its aging. Temptation is re-fermented in the bottle to create its carbonation--a process commonly used to make fine champagne and sparkling wine. Spent yeast forms a thin layer of sediment to remain in the bottle. 7.25%ABV / 1....

90 points Wine Enthusiast: "This bottling is a wild spin on Victory’s Golden Monkey, the brewery’s Belgian-style tripel. A brilliant golden color, it’s a strong and intense brew, leading with scents of fresh citrus, freshly baked bread, dried grass, underripe stone fruit and green apple. There’s a pleasant weight and richness to the smooth palate that’s lifted through the close by bright, lactic acidity. Aside for the mouthfeel, the alcohol is well-integrated and balanced, while light carbonation assists in lifting the stone-fruit and citrus flavors and ...

"Inspired by the unique flavors of Mexican candy, Dia de Los Mangos is a blend of one year old barrels aged on mango and tamarind for 8 weeks and infused with Ancho, Aleppo, Aji Amarillo, Guajillo, and Green Serano chili. Aromatics of chili dominate while mango and funk ethereally float through your olfactory. Tropical fruit flavors follow backed by a solid lactic acidity, finishing spicy while staying pleasantly drinkable. A unique beer to say the least" (Producer Notes)

When we set out to make this brew, the claw was the last thing on our minds. Seltzers from craft breweries are typically made by fermenting table sugar with a clean-tasting yeast strain. We wanted to play around with cane sugar as a fermentable, but want to maximize, not minimize the flavor. Our Tepache Seltzer is made with organic raw cane sugar and real pineapple and cinnamon, aged in neutral oak barrels with our house mixed cultures. This one will definitely change the way you think about seltzers! (Brewery Notes)

From the brewery: "Announcing Gathering Tart Cherries & Peaches! We began this beer with tart cherries from Samascott Orchards in Kinderhook, NY and peaches from Wright’s Farm in Gardiner, NY. The fruit underwent a carbonic maceration and spontaneous autofermentation before blending with our favorite barrels of aged sour beer. The result is bright balanced acidity, kriek-like overtones of cherry and cinnamon, and tannic peach skin on the palate."

Foeder-fermented sour ale w/ mango, black lime & ginger From the brewery: "This foeder-fermented sour ale features an amalgam of dried black limes, ginger, and mango. Each sip follows a palindromic arc — black lime! then ginger! then mango! then ginger! then black lime! — with a through line of puckering, tight acidity from start to finish."

With our new LICHTENHAINER WEISSE (10.9°P), we want to revive the almost extinct sour beer tradition of Jena. We followed the definition of this old Thuringian beer style and have brewed a tangy, top-fermented beer with a slightly sour yet smoky taste and a light yellow color. The result is a light, easy-drinking beer with a velvety-soft acidity and a subtle smoky character. It is reminiscent of a beautiful summer evening around the bonfire. From the brewery: "Technically, this is neither an ale nor a lager. The base recipe is for a Golden Ale, but we do the primary fermentation with 100% brettanomyces. The brett gives it some sour notes but not as much as if it had been aged with lacto and pedio. It’s rather refreshing on a warm day!"
