Bid on this bottle of 1988 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (94VN, 93RP, 93WS, 92JG). Vinous: "An unexpected treat, the 1988 Dom Pérignon is a fabulous surprise. Here the flavors are bright, focused and tense, with attractive floral and citrus notes that cut through the richness of the chilled lobster appetizer. (AG)" (03/2014)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne (98JS, 96WE, 96WS, 93DC). James Suckling: "A firm and vivid Champagne with a precise, focused palate. Full-bodied and dry. It’s very layered and bright with light pineapple, peach, praline, cooked-apple and stone aromas and flavors. It’s very subtle and focused at the end. Integrated with richness and high acidity. Good depth. Reminds me of the 1995. Very clean. Solid. Lovely to drink already, but will age nicely." (07/2020)
Starting Bid: $151.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Salon "Le Mesnil" Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne (OWC - 98JS, 98WE, 97VN, 95W&S, 94WS, 93RP) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "Salon's releases are rare and signify a great vintage—the last release was the 2002. Coming from grand cru vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, this 2004 is complex and concentrated, capturing the essence of Chardonnay in Champagne. Intense minerality and ripe apple and citrus fruits accompany the purity and crisp texture that are part of its ability to age. The wine can continue for many years, certainly to 2025 and beyond. *Best of 2016, Cellar Selection* (RV)" (12/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Dom Pérignon Brut Rosé Champagne (98RP, 98VN, 97DC, 95ST, 92CG). Vinous: "The 2002 Dom Pérignon Rosé is a tremendous example of this vintage at its very best. A Champagne of vertical thrust and intensity, the 2002 is rich, opulent and hedonistic from the very first taste. Readers should expect a Rosé built on a huge core of fruit. Rose petal, passion fruit and exotic flowers add shades of dimension to the wine’s decidedly flamboyant personality. What a wine! (AG)" (07/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne (98VN, 97DC, 96RP, 96W&S, 95WS). Vinous: "The 2002 Dom Pérignon is unforgettable. Rich, sumptuous and flamboyant to the core, the 2002 captures all of the radiance of a year in which ripeness in the Chardonnays was pushed to the edge. The 2002 is oily and viscous on the palate, with tremendous textural resonance in all of its dimensions. Tropical fruit, pastry and exotic floral notes all build as the 2002 opens up with air. I can still remember the first time I tasted the 2002, here in the Hautvillers cloister, with former Chef de Caves Richard Geoffroy. It was thrilling back then, and is every bit as memorable today. Bid on this bottle of 1990 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (99JS, 96RP, 93VN). James Suckling: "This is really incredible with orange peel, dried pineapple and flan. Exotic. Full body, round and savory. Crazy character at the finish of cooked pineapple and tart tartine. Gorgeous; can't believe it. " (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $325.00

Bid on this bottle of 1985 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (96JG, 96RP, 95BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "No tasting note provided." (12/1994)
Starting Bid: $337.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (100JD, 100JS, 99DC, 99JG, 99VN, 98RP, 98WE, 97WS). James Suckling: "Disgorged October 2016 and will be the first Cristal to be released ten years from harvest when it is offered in 2018. 35 parcels used from a possible 45 in this vintage. The assemblage is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. This is so fresh and tense and mineral with extremely exuberant Chardonnay notes on the nose of white peach, lemon and yellow grapefruit, and hints of almost brambly sous bois aromas. The yeast characters are also super fresh, and there are subtle woody notes, with a hint of vanilla bean and light spices. The palate is super long, and very pure, powerful and focused. It drives deep and taut. Pinot Noir is a strong core and the Chardonnay sits at the edge offering lemon and white nectarine sorbet flavors. Staggeringly concentrated, yet the balance makes it seem airy and light. Acidity is perfectly positioned, and the power is i

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (100W&S, 98JS, 98RP, 98WE, 97DC, 97JG, 97VN, 96CG, 96JD, 92WS). Wine & Spirits: "If a wine could ever make you want to pull the top down on your '68 Ferrari convertible, rip off the rearview mirror and take off, this is it. It has a different kind of energy than the '02 Cristal Rosé, which is more ethereal, like strawberries at the right hand of some ancient Gallic god. This is more insolent, brash, earth bound. All the scents and flavors seem to emanate from limestone, as does the acidity, which hits at the front of the mouth and powers through the wine with the kind of solar energy that lifts mist off the white chalk on a cool morning in Cramant. The wine goes on for miles. It's already irresistible, and will only improve with ten, 20, 30 and 40 years of age." (12/2009)

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Salon "Le Mesnil" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (100DC, 99RP, 98JS, 98VN, 97BH, 96JG). Decanter: "A warm, even hot, spring with no real change during the summer, conditions that allowed the grapes to gorge themselves on sugar while preserving good acidity. Harvest began on 23 September. Hazelnut, spices, flowers form part of the remarkable aromatic complexity of this Champagne that also has also remarkable depth of character. Perhaps the most impressive Salon of the tasting. On the palate, a sensation of flesh and opulence, but also the telltale precision and erect backbone of racy acidity, and an enthralling finish ending on a refreshing note of salinity. A truly great Salon that leaves one speechless. (YC)" (01/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Bollinger "La Grande Année" Brut Champagne (98W&S, 97JS, 96JD, 94RP, 94VN, 94WS, 93BH, 93JG). Wine & Spirits: "There is Champagne, and then there is 2002 Bollinger. This wine makes me dizzy, stammering in cross-eyed bliss. Taking a step back, the sustained chord of flavor comes into focus, revealing a limestone honey: scents of acacia, marzipan, apricot and golden citrus. Jamal Rayyis, one of our tasters with the broadest flavor library in his head, described the scent as loomi (dried lime) and dried apricot, as if walking into a Middle Eastern market. Flavor details aside, the wine’s richness softens the structural grandeur of the vintage, which is buoyed in a mineral bath of power. This will reward another ten or 20 years of age, and the bottles that remain will likely only feed the wine’s legend. " (12/2011)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2002 Pol Roger "Extra Cuvée de Réserve" Brut Champagne (96WE, 93RP, 93ST) and 1-bottle of 2002 Pol Roger Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (95ST, 95WE, 94RP, 93W&S, 93WS). Of the 2002 Pol Roger "Extra Cuvée de Réserve" Brut Champagne, Wine Enthusiast writes: "The most recent vintage release from Pol Roger is this superb 2002. Notes of apple, almond, citrus and a hint of toast mingle together effortlessly. It can be consumed now, especially with food, but its mixture of maturity and freshness promise to age beautifully for many years to come. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (12/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Moet & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (97ST, 95WE, 94W&S, 93JG, 93JS, 92RP, 92VN, 91WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "The 1998 Dom Pérignon has an intense white-golden color and is beautifully clear and fine on the nose, which indicates a lovely maturity and displays grey bread, almond cake and iodine flavors, along with lemon and orange aromas. This clarity and mineral freshness proceeds on the highly elegant, finesse-full and silky textured palate, and the complexly flavored, very distinguished finish is dry and mineral, revealing a stimulating salinity and tension. The 1998 seems young still, but is certainly a great pleasure to drink and will be for many years. (SR)" (06/2016)
