98 points James Suckling: "Aromas of blackcurrants, black cherries, hints of graphite, wet earth, and lavender. Sandalwood. Full-bodied with an impressive and refined structure that runs deep and vertical in the wine. Chewy. Hints of chocolate and hazelnut at the end. Needs five or six years to soften." (03/2023) 96 points The Wine Independent: "A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, the 2020 Dominus has a deep garnet-purple color. It rolls out of the glass with expressive notes of baked blackberries, preserved plums, and kirsch, with...

Bid on this 6 liter of 1986 Louis Martini "Duke of Bourbon Celebration Cuvée Special Selection" Napa Valley Zinfandel (6L). The story of Louis Martini is a key chapter in Napa's winemaking history. Genovese immigrant Louis Martini established his first business in 1922, smack in the middle of Prohibition (in force in the US from 1919 until 1933). He was therefore limited to making "sacramental and medicinal" wines at first. With the end of prohibition, Martini became one the first winemakers in California to produce vintage varietal table wines in quantity, and at reasonable prices. With their hallmark of impeccable balance, older Louis Martini wines never cease to amaze.
Starting Bid: $300.00
Bid on this 6 liter of 2006 Tudal Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (6L) (90RP). Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate from St. Helena has impressive minerality, with notes of tobacco leaf, licorice, fruitcake, and spice box, along with red and black currants and some underlying earthiness. Deep, rich, and medium to full-bodied, with a tightly knit personality, this wine has plenty of promise but needs 3-4 years of cellaring as well. 90+ (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $200.00
Bid on this 6 liter of 1996 Dalla Valle "Maya" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (6L) (96RP, 95ST, 93VN, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 1996 Maya is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Vivid, intense aromas of new saddle leather, plums, black currants, underbrush, and licorice are followed by a full-bodied, sensationally concentrated wine with sweet tannin, a deep, exceptionally pure and concentrated mid-palate, and an opulently-textured finish. It was surprisingly open-knit and delicious when tasted in October, but there is more tannin lurking beneath the surface. (RP)" (12/1999)

Bid on this 6 liter of Moet & Chandon "Imperial" Champagne (6L) (92WS, 91JS, 90WE). Wine Spectator: "A harmonious Champagne, with well-knit, mouthwatering acidity, offering hints of bread dough and spun honey that enrich flavors of black cherry, salted almond and preserved lemon. Not a powerhouse, but this shows good focus while remaining fine and creamy in texture. The minerally finish shows hints of smoke and oyster shell. Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
