2007 Buty "Rediviva of the Stones" Walla Walla Valley Red Blend (3L) (Previously $300+) (Previously $300+)
New!
95 points Wine Enthusiast: " *Cellar Selection* Violets and compost dance through the aromas, leading into an intensely fruity palate loaded with sappy berry richness, nuanced with scents and streaks of cured meat, garrigue, earth and graphite. Blending 77% Syrah with 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, it strikes a perfect balance among fruit, earth, and rock. At its core it is still wrapped tight, immaculately clean, and still almost impenetrably dense. " (08/2010) 93 points Wine Spectator: "Supple, complex and deep, with mineral, earth and meat notes mingling w...

2007 Buty "Columbia Rediviva - Phinny Hill Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon - Syrah (3L) (Previously $50+) (Previously $50+)
New!
96 points Wine Enthusiast: "From the winery’s Phinny Hill vineyard, the Columbia Rediviva is 48% Cabernet Sauvignon and 52% Syrah. Complex and satiny, it’s a riveting wine, inky and bursting with a sensuous mix of berry, cassis, mocha, loam, cinnamon and spice. Tremendous density and depth; despite its youth the wine curls around the tongue like thick smoke, showing more and more detail. *Cellar Selection* " (05/2011) 93 points Wine Spectator: "Polished, round and complex, this is distinctive and generous with its dark berry, chocolate and pomegranate ...

This is a delicious, clean and fresh, forward style of Rioja, packed in a 3-liter bag-in-box for maximum value. The bag-in-box, long a popular format in Europe, has finally started to catch on in the United States. And with good reason, as it allows you to open a box and enjoy its contents for days, even weeks, with no drop off in flavor. For the equivalent of $6.25 per bottle, this is one red value that you do not want to miss!

La Nevera is a wine blended and packaged in Aldeanueva, Rioja, and it consists primarily of Viura, the backbone to Rioja white wines. It is crisp, mineral, refreshing and (the best part!) available exclusively as a three liter bag in box. The bag in box, long a popular format in Europe, has finally started to catch on here. And with good reason, as it allows you to open a box and enjoy its contents for days, even weeks, with no drop off in flavor. For the equivalent of $6.25 per bottle, this is one white value that you do not want to miss! Keep it around...

100 points Wine Enthusiast: "This great estate in southern Pauillac, facing the Latour vineyard, is at the top of its game. In this release, the tannins are as impressive and dense as the black fruits. Together they form a harmonious ensemble, richly structured, concentrated from the many old vines in the blend, and very ageworthy. Drink from 2027. *Cellar Selection* (RV) " (03/2021) 97-98 points James Suckling: "Deep and dark young wine that takes you down, deep down to its center palate of blackberries and blueberries, firm and very silky tannins and...

95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Beautifully textured and rich in blackcurrant flavors and tannins, this is a generous wine. The fruits and the dusty tannins partner each other well giving structure, concentration, a sense of poise and final freshness. Drink this wine from 2026. (RV)" (03/2021) 94 points Wine Spectator: "Ripe and focused, with a lovely core of steeped plum, fig and cassis notes laced liberally with graphite and applewood. A violet note chimes bright on the finish. Absolutely rock solid. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. (JM)" (...

98 points Decanter: "Lovely grilled and graphite notes right off the bat; this is big and muscular, and extremely Pauillac. There is grace here too, with raspberry purée, cassis, fig and blackberry fruits set against charcoal and fine tannins that quickly build up to suggest how well this will age. (JA)" (11/2020) 98 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse De Lalande is a monster of a wine with an almost Château Latour-like stature and structure, offering deep, backward, slightly reductive notes of blackcurrants, crushed stone...

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "*Best Buy* Setting the benchmark for London dry-style gins, look for a fresh, clean scent and flavors of lemon peel and juniper, accented by white pepper, ginger, cayenne and coriander before fading to zingy lemon and a mildly sweet exit. At 47% abv it reads a little hot, but it's ideal for drinks with a bit of dilution, like a classic Gin & Tonic. (KN)" (09/2016) K&L Notes: *Gold* 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. From the Beverage Testing Institute: "93 points--*Exceptional and a Best Buy*-- Vibrant aromas of c...

95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 07: "Good bright dark red. Initially reticent aromas of cherry, cola, flowers, pepper and sweet oak. Dense and fine-grained but youthfully imploded, with a strong stony minerality keeping the red cherry, bitter chocolate and floral flavors under wraps. Finishes very juicy and very long, with intriguing pepper and floral nuances. The recorked bottle 24 hours later showed brilliantly complex aromas and flavors of black raspberry, bitter chocolate, rose petal and minerals and superb sappy persist...

100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Harvested between September 17 and October 5, this wine seems always open for business, so to speak, much like the great 1982s. The summer of 2009 was very hot and dry, which got the harvest off to a reasonably early start. The blend was 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. Jean Bernard Delmas’ goal was to find perfect equilibrium between freshness and concentration, given its incredible opulence and the voluptuous character this vintage offered. That’s what this wine has in...

98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine of great intensity and richness, it displays classic notes of licorice, barbecue smoke, creme de cassis, cedarwood and forest floor. Full-bodied with sensational purity, a multidimensional mouthfeel and a long, voluptuous finish with no hard edges, it has only reached mid-adolescence, and has at least two decades of life ahead of it. (RP)" (11/2013) 94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby-red. Exhilarating, vibrant aromas of cassis, minerals, cocoa powder and brown spices. Juicy,...

94-96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Barolo Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe is a cool, inward wine. It boasts striking power and masses of fruit in an implosive style that will require many years to show at its best. The 2006 is all about sheer energy, power and muscle. Layers of fruit begin to flesh out on the muscular finish, but the 2006 San Giuseppe remains in an embryonic stage of its development. Readers will need to be patient. This is another totally impeccable wine from the Cavallotto brothers. Anticipated maturity: 20...

The world's first carbon negative vodka, the Air Company uses revolutionary proprietary technology to produce ethanol in a totally new way. They use sequestered CO2, water and a solar powered energy source to power their catalyst to create ethanol in a completely new and sustainable way. The technology is still extremely new and the resulting mixture of water and ethanol is further distilled on a column still to get the proof up to 96% alcohol by volume. The result is one of the cleanest and certainly most sustainable vodka on the market. The technology ...

95 points Decanter: "Another wine that is packed with Pauillac signature; one where you feel the tightness and the bristle of the tannins. They have done a great job of carefully extracting the tannins while maintaining a fresh menthol current running through the backbone of the wine. The fruit lacks a little plushness and concentration compared to the 2016 or 2018, but this is impressive. It's a year where names count, and Lynch Bages is claiming its place at the table. (JA)" (11/2019) 95 points Jeb Dunnuck: "A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Mer...

99 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Coming from 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc brought up in 60% new French oak, the 2018 Château Pape Clement from Bernard Magrez is a gorgeous wine that's performing even better from bottle than barrel, which is always a good sign. Deep ruby/purple, with stunning crème de cassis and blackberry fruits as well as kaleidoscope-like notes of graphite, scorched earth, smoke, violets, and spring flowers, it offers full-bodied richness yet stays light on its feet, graceful, and almost ethereal on the palate...

2006 Fèlsina "Berardenga" Chianti Classico Riserva (3L) (cracked capsule)
New!
92 points Vinous: "The 2006 Chianti Classico Riserva is simply beautiful. Everything is in gorgeous balance as dark cherries, plums, violets and spices come together in a fresh, vibrant expression of Sangiovese. The wine is singing today, but it will be even more delicious in another year or two. The Chianti Classico spent 16 months in French oak, 40% of which was new. (AG)" (08/2009)
Price: $179.99

98-99 points James Suckling: "The richness and beauty of this wine is impressive with blackcurrant, cherry, berry and fresh cloves. The fruit is so pure here. Full-bodied with tannins that are so integrated and refined that you don’t feel them, yet they are there! Very creamy and layered with great length and beauty. It turns to tar and licorice at the finish. Tight now, but the texture is special. Try after 2027." (01/2021) 98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cos d'Estournel is a blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 2% Petit Ver...

96 points James Suckling: "A very savory and succulent Alion with so much complexity of flavor with berries, chocolate and dried meat. Some cedar, too. Full body. Vertical and very long. Purity of fruit and tannins to this wine. Needs two or three years to soften. Release in 2020. Better after 2022." (09/2020) 95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The highly anticipated 2016 Alión spent 12 months in oak barrels, 80% of them new and built mainly with French oak but with some 5% American oak, and some 10% of the volume matured in 15,000-liter concret...

2018 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend 3L 1-Pack in OWC
New!
100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon checks in as 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot brought up in 40% new French oak. With an essence of Cabernet like character in its darker currants, green tobacco, cedar, graphite, and floral aromas and flavors, this gorgeous wine is full-bodied and has bright yet integrated acidity, polished tannins, and a great, great finish. It’s just gorgeously put together and a magical, flawless wine. It’s going to take a decade to hit maturity but will evolve for 40-50 ye...
Price: $1,499.00

99 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2009 Palmer is unquestionably one of the greatest young Bordeaux I’ve tasted, and it has a rare mix of richness and elegance that’s incredible. Blackcurrants, violets, lead pencil shavings and a touch of minerality all emerge from this rich, massively concentrated Margaux that still glides across the palate with no sense of weight or heaviness. It’s perfectly balanced, has a ripe, hedonistic core of fruit, as well as integrated acidity. It’s a dream today, but is going to have 30-40 years or more of prime drinking." (12/2017) ...

The classic vodka in a large format.
Price: $59.99

92 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good dark ruby; slightly hazy. Sappy aromas of black cherry, currant, espresso and earth. Silky and stuffed with fruit. Acidity (from the substantial Petit Verdot component?) is still a bit pronounced, but this wine has the sheer extract to harmonize with bottle aging. Quite powerfully structured and very long on the aftertaste, though not as subtle as the regular '96. (ST)" (06/1999)

Bid on this 3L-bottle of 1986 Gruaud Larose, St-Julien (3L) (96RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still tasting as if it were only 7-8 years of age, the dense, garnet/purple-colored 1986 Gruaud-Larose is evolving at a glacier pace. The wine still has mammoth structure, tremendous reserves of fruit and concentration, and a finish that lasts close to a minute. The wine is massive, very impressively constituted, with still some mouth-searing tannin to shed. Decanting of one to two hours in advance seems to soften it a bit, but this is a wine that seems to be almost immortal in terms of its longevity. It is a great Medoc classic, and certainly one of the most magnificent Gruaud-Larose ever made. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2035. Last tasted, 10/02. (RP)" (01/2003)

Bid on this 3 liter 1-bottle lot of 2016 Rauzan-Ségla, Margaux (3L) (98JD, 98JS, 97RP, 97VN, 97WE, 95DC). James Suckling: "The aromas of blackcurrants, sweet tobacco and sandalwood are tantalizing. Then it turns to subtle, dried fruit. Full-bodied with dense and powerful tannins, yet ending with finesse and vertical nature. Very deep. Power with finesse." (01/2019)

DiSaronno is perhaps the world's best known almond-flavored liqueur. With a history dating back to 1525 A.D. and a star pupil of Leonardo da Vinci, the recipe for this classic spirit has remained secret since Domenico Reina started producing it commercially at the turn of the 20th century. This is must-have ingredient in a wide range of sour-style cocktails or on its own as a digestif.

Bid on this 3L-bottle of 2010 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (97VN, 96ST, 96W&S). Vinous: "The 2010 Monte Bello is just as stunning as it has always been. Today, the 2010 appears to be entering a closed phase, so it is best left alone for at least another 5-10 years, perhaps longer. The signatures are super-ripe, exotic fruit, sweet aromatics and firm tannins, all of which ensure the 2010 will be utterly magnificent in a few decades. The growing season was characterized by mostly cold weather, with an unexpectedly intense heat spike in mid-October that gave the fruit a final push. One of the things that makes this vintage so compelling is the interplay of firm structural elements from the cold year and a high level of ripeness that was achieved late. In my view, the 2010 is one of the most thrilling recent Monte Bellos, however it won't be ready to drink for a number of years and it won't peak for quite some time beyond that. 97+ (AG)" (07/20

93-95 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is also quite reduced in fact so much so that nothing is discernable, not even the spice. This is bigger, richer and more powerful than the Chapelle with more mid-palate concentration as well with a lovely mineral streak that runs the length of the wine before culminating in an explosive finish that really does a slow build. I very much like the overall depth yet it's all but certain that more will develop as this possesses ample amounts of underlying material. A classic Bèze that is built to age. (AM)" (01/2...

Bid on this 3 liter 1-bottle lot of 2000 Louis Martini "Duke's 35th - Ghost Pines" Chiles Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L). The story of Louis Martini is a key chapter in Napa's winemaking history. Genovese immigrant Louis Martini established his first business in 1922, smack in the middle of Prohibition (in force in the US from 1919 until 1933). He was therefore limited to making "sacramental and medicinal" wines at first. With the end of prohibition, Martini became one the first winemakers in California to produce vintage varietal table wines in quantity, and at reasonable prices.
