98 points Wine Enthusiast: "Insanely aromatic notes of potpourri, raspberry, white pepper, soot, funk and earth are followed by bright, fresh, focused, rich fruit and savory flavors. It shows a sense of delicacy and intensity with unparalleled balance. There is no end to the finish. What makes this Grenache-driven wine so extraordinary? God only knows. *Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2019* (SS)" (10/2019) 96 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 God Only Knows saw a fair amount of stems (60-80%) and was brought up in neutral demi-muids and foudre. It's incredibl...

96 points Int'l Wine Review: "Medium cherry cored with a watery rim in the glass, the 2020 Estate Weathereye Grenache is aged in 100% neutral oak but includes approximately 40% stems during fermentation. Crushed red raspberry, mountain blueberry, candied cherry, Red Mountain herbs, Blood orange zest, and fresh linen emerge on the nose. An elegant wine that glides across the tongue and finishes with a stunning red cherry note all over the palate. Another exquisite Grenache by the Weathereye team. Highly recommended." 94-96 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Châteauneu...

97 points Wine Advocate: "There are 533 cases of the 2014 Grenache God Only Knows Armada Vineyard, and as always, it's an unknown blend that's dominated by Grenache (reportedly from vine cuttings from Rayas). It's fermented with just about 100% whole clusters in concrete and aged mostly in neutral puncheons and foudre, with one concrete egg. A bigger, richer wine than the No Girls cuvée, this beauty packs a punch in its black cherry, reduced strawberry, herbes de Provence and crushed violet aromas and flavors. 97 points Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Grenache God Only Knows Armada Vineyard is superb, wafting from the glass with a bouquet of kaleidoscopic complexity that features aromas of rose hips and peony, ripe cherries and orange rind, mingled with savory bass notes of garrigue, licorice and bay leaf. On the palate, it's full-bodied, layered and expansive, with a deep core of fruit framed by very fine-grained, velvety tannins, concluding with a sapid, even saline finish. Its concentration without weight, as well as its striking aromatic amplitude, mark it out as...

98 points Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Grenache Sur Echalas Vineyard is stunning, wafting from the glass with a captivating bouquet that features floral top notes of roses and peony, savory nuances of rich coniferous forest floor and bouillon, overlaying a sapid base of ripe cherry and strawberry. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, immensely intense and mouthwateringly savory, with incredible complexity and stony depth. The finish is long and saline. Though Baron's Cayuse Grenache is great this year, this wine is another step up. (WK)" (06/2018) 97 po...

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "Crafted by Syncline winemaker James Mantone, the aromas of raspberry, kirsch and spice show a pleasing sense of harmony. The red-fruit flavors are layered, showing intensity and precision, with the tannins bringing some grip. The balance is spot-on throughout. (SS)" (01/2016)

98 points James Suckling: "This is perfumed, with dried strawberry bush, ripe cherry, star anise, black cardamom and spiced orange peel. Lots of dried-flower undertones. Its medium- to full-bodied with layers of tight but juicy tannins and bright acidity cutting through. Its so alive and vibrant, with cocoa-dusted red berries jumping out of the glass. It shows depth and power, but in an elegant way, with a delicate, ethereal feel." (04/2023) 95 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Coming all from the Powerline Vineyard on the southern side of the Walla Walla Valley, t...

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 No Girls "La Paciencia Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Grenache (95IWR, 94RP, 93WE, 92WS). Int'l Wine Review: "This 100% Grenache comes from La Paciencia (patience) vineyard, where the vines are tightly spaced and planted on an angle to allow the Grenache to develop its own unique personality. 2010 was a cool vintage and the wine opens up with prototypical Walla Walla rocks aromas of wet stone, mushroom, lavender and orange peel. There are flavors of red raspberry garrigue, Bing cherry, cran-orange and provencale herbs. This mineral driven wine has exquisite texture and a finish that lingers. A fantastic wine this is showing excellent right now, but also shows wonderful potential to age. (OB)" (11/2015)
