Bid on this 3 liter 1-bottle lot of 1988 Brander "Bouchet Tete de Cuvée" Santa Ynez Valley Bordeaux Blend (3L). Visit Brander and you'll think you've woken up in Bordeaux. Founded in 1975 the focus here is on Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. "Bouchet" pays hommage to the use of the word in some regions of France as a synonym for Cabernet. More recent vintages have Syrah in the blend, but early bottlings were exclusively from Bordeaux varieties.
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1988 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (96WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "What a beautiful and complete wine, with dark chocolate, crushed blackberry, cedar and raspberry on the nose. Full-bodied, with supersilky tannins and a beautiful licorice, tar and fruit aftertaste. Long and complex. Will improve with age. (JS, Web Only-2009)"
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this 3 liter 1-bottle lot of 1988 Arrowood "Reserve Speciale" Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon (3L). Robert Parker writes: "Arrowood’s Reserve Speciale line represents what Dick Arrowood believes are his top blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, usually aged about 28 months in mostly French oak, with production limited to 1,600 or so cases. All of these wines seem to have scored as well, if not better than what I remember rating them when they were first released, always a sign of great winemaking."
Starting Bid: $150.00
