Winery Notes: "The Zinfandel comes from a historic vineyard site in Contra Costa County, owned and managed by the past four generations of the Del Barba family. The own-rooted old vines growing in the granitic sands of Oakley produced a prolific crop of beautiful fruit. Cool and breezy mornings through August allowed for a gradual development of flavors.
