If you like, big, powerful, very full-bodied Zin (but not sweet) then this is a wine well worth checking out! It very much reminds me of some of the classic "No Wimpy Wines" from Ravenswood in their heyday. A saturated, hedonistic blend of 80% Zinfandel, 15% Malbec, 5% Syrah. Winery Note: "90 year old vines from organically farmed Shergill Vineyard. Carbonic Maceration of 100% whole cluster fruit for 8 days in concrete. Grapes were pressed and transferred to stainless steel tanks for 12 days. Natural yeast fermentation. When fermentation was finished the wines were transferred to 9 year old French oak barrels.
