1970 La Lagune, Haut-Médoc (1.5L)
Back In Stock!
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1970 La Lagune is still surprisingly firm, but, I believe, fully mature. It has a dark ruby color, a big, plummy, woodsy, and mushroom-like bouquet, full-bodied, deep, concentrated, berryish fruit flavors, good tannins, and a long finish. This is a fine La Lagune that falls just short of being outstanding. (RP)" (01/1998) Wine Spectator: "Medium ruby-garnet; fragrant, tarry, ripe, toasty nose; firm, fruity, fairly plump and stylish, though not big." (05/1993)
Price: $489.99

Bid on this bottle of 1970 Palmer, Margaux (95JG, 95RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Not yet fully mature, the 1970 Palmer is one of the great wines of the vintage. It exhibits a dark, opaque garnet color, and an emerging, fabulously complex, exotic nose of licorice, over-ripe plums and blackcurrants, soy, cedar, and minerals. Rich and concentrated, with medium to full body, a sweet inner-core of fruit, firm but silky tannin, and a long, rich finish, this remains a youthful, potentially superb Palmer. (RP)" (06/1996)
Starting Bid: $260.00
