This rum was distilled in March of 2013 on the fabulous Clarendon, a copper pot still. It was aged in used bourbon and whiskey barrels until it was recasked and shipped to the UK in 2019. Composed of heavily peated Scottish Concerto barley, this sixth release in the Cask Exploration series was distilled in 2013. The spirit aged in first-fill Bourbon barrels for the first four years. In 2017, it was re-casked into Pomerol casks and matured for an additional five years. Bottled nonchillfiltered and with no added coloring.
