This crisp, bright, tangy yet ultimately fresh and appley cider really hits the spot. The balance between rich, phenolic, fine bitter notes, and bright, sour apple high tones is spot on. In Asturias they drink more sidra than anywhere else in Spain (possibly in Europe?) and judging by the quality of this bottling, I can see why! (Joe Manekin, K&L Spanish & Portuguese wine buyer)

Luis Acebal is a fourth-generation cider maker in Asturias, using native Asturian varietals. These are bone dry, acid-driven ciders fermented spontaneously on the lees, and bottled without fining or clarification. Since the bubbles dissipate quickly, the cider should be consumed in small pours immediately after serving. This ritual is repeated multiple times throughout. But if you're not into the flair (or the attendant mess), you ca...

There are many opinions on what constitutes an Oktoberfest beer. It’s dark, it’s bright, it’s a Helles disguised as a Vienna lager. We think there’s one way to find out - go to Munich, brave the drunken hordes and general fleecing, and you will find out that what we put in this can is what Munich’s legendary breweries pour into your overpriced stein. A deep golden lager that proudly displays it’s hefty grain bill with a robust body and a fine balance of spice, hints of floral notes and a gentle bitter. A Festbier is a fine, strong lager that does not de...

Also called "Pils" The Rothaus Tannenzäpfle is the absolute classic among our beers - and has been since 1956. That is why it is also the namesake and figurehead of the Gäpfle family. The best aromatic hops from Tettnang and the Hallertau as well as local malt made from summer barley and the purest spring water from the Black Forest give Rothaus Tannenzäpfle its uniquely spicy and fresh taste.
