Bid on this bottle of 2019 Fingers Crossed California Grenache. Antonio Galloni writes: "I was blown away by the wines I tasted with Nikolas and Julia Krankl this past summer. Working out of a tiny winery that is essentially in their backyard, the Krankls are making gorgeous, distinctive wines. The Krankls describe 2019 as a year with a long, cool growing season and a wide harvest window. Things were much more challenging in 2020. In addition to dealing with a pandemic and the threat of fire (that thankfully did not materialize), 2020 was extremely hot and dry. That resulted in dehydration on the vine, small berries and musts with high skin to juice ratios. On the plus side, there was better ripeness in the stems. Readers who have not tasted these wines owe it to themselves to do so, as they are quite special."
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Sine Qua Non "Distenta I" California Grenache ((98-100JD), 98RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Not yet bottled, the 2019 Grenache Ditenta 1 (which is the new name for the classic Grenache of the estate and means “unlabeled” in Latin) sports a dense purple hue as well as a flamboyant, exotic, complex nose of black raspberries, flowery incense, pepper, and spice. It’s incredibly layered and elegant, yet still has classic Sine Qua Non opulence and texture. It’s a brilliant Grenache in the making." (08/2021)
Starting Bid: $660.00
