Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy: "This year’s Les Sétilles has more declassified village wines included than usual when the wine didn’t correspond to Franck’s idea of its appellation. 80% has been made in barrel. Pale lemon colour, heavenly nose, perfumed without heat, superb balance. Leaner than expected on the palate, a good thing in 2019, with some lime blossom notes infusing the light plum fruit in the mouth. Fractional heat behind. 13.7% Tasted: October 2020."

It is located midslope and consistently provides a lovely wine of exquisite balance and elegance. Here the accent is on ripe apple, spice and buttery aromas. The texture is broad and rich, but superbly elegant and well balanced. The finesse of the results in such a warm year are reassuring.
