Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A pungent nose combines notes of petrol, straw, pear and a whiff of citrus rind. I like both the volume and punch of the middle weight flavors that emanate a subtle minerality on the clean, dry and moderately complex finale." (06/2018) K&L Notes: Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy: "Vinified in stainless steel, then matured 40% in barrel of which half new and now reassembled before bottling. This has a lovely bouquet of fresh pears along with the faintest touch of liquorice. Really a delight. Excellent texture, middleweight fruit...

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine Vincent & Sophie Morey Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Truffière" (92BH). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An elegant and refined nose reflects notes of pear, quinine, matchstick and floral hints. There is lovely purity to the detailed, intense and stony flavors that exude a wonderful sense of underlying tension on the palate staining finish that once again exudes a touch of bitter lemon character. This too should age well." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine Thierry et Pascale Matrot Meursault 1er Cru "Perrières" (93BH, 93RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières was bottled a bit later than has been the norm chez Matrot, as Elsa Matrot is keen to see if longer sur lie élevage would benefit the domaine's wines. It was showing very well when I tasted it, revealing classic scents of lemon oil, white flowers and chalky soil tones that are defined more by the site than the vintage. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny textured and deep, with good concentration, bright acids and a long, searingly stony finish. (WK)" (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $158.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (96JG, 96JS, 94VN, 93DC, (91-93RP), 92BH, 92WS). James Suckling: "The complexity, concentration and drive make this an excellent Clos in 2016. The fruits vary from citrus to exotic stone fruits. Green tropical and white floral notes, too. The palate has a staggeringly concentrated core of acid-drenched lemons, lime, peaches and green mangoes. Incredible depth, high acidity and a very long finish. A great Clos! Drink or hold. " (02/2018)
