93 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An intensely earthy nose is comprised by notably ripe dark currant aromas that are cut with underbrush, spice and a whiff of wood toast. There is an attractive freshness and plenty of vivacity to the velvet-textured full-bodied flavors that possess terrific punch on the beautifully long if notably firm finish. Once again, patience required." (01/2018)
Price: $249.99

96 points James Suckling: "Deeper wine from the get-go with dark violets, mocha, cassis and blackberries. The palate has suave, smooth and sturdy tannins and terrific length. Very polished and seamless with flavors of fresh black cherries, blackcurrants and blue plums. Best from 2022." (02/2018) 96 points Vinous: "The 2015 Malartic Lagravière is just as fabulous from bottle as it was from barrel. Rich, voluptuous and dramatic, it captures all of the natural intensity of the year. Black cherry, plum, mocha, chocolate, licorice and French oak build into ...

2015 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) (Pre-Arrival)
Top Pick!
98 points James Suckling: "So much floral and dark-fruit character with almonds and walnut shell. Full body and ultra-fine tannins. Powerful. Classic style with a harmony and energy. Goes on for minutes. A superb wine with great fruit. Real Bordeaux. Try in 2025." (02/2018) 97 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Pontet-Canet comes charging out of the glass with fantastically expressive notes of black cherry preserves, black raspberries and blackcurrant pastilles plus touches of kirsch, wilted roses, tobacco, cam...

2015 Anakota "Helena Montana" Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Back In Stock!
96 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Very deep purple-black in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Montana Vineyard gives up notes of coffee grounds, chocolate box and warm blueberries with hints of black currant cordial and blackberry pie, plus touches of tar and black soil. Medium-bodied and totally laden with tightly packed fruit layers and great tension, it has a very firm frame of grainy tannins and epic length. (LPB)" (12/2017) 93 points Vinous: "Anakota's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Montana is fabulous. Rich, sensual and enveloping...

94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Merlot, the medium to deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Merlot Vintner's Select is flamboyantly scented of warmed black plums, blueberry compote, candied violets and exotic spices with hints of garrigue, fertile loam, licorice and black tea. Medium to full-bodied, the generous black fruits are beautifully perfumed with floral hints and framed by velvety tannins, finishing long and decadently spicy. (LPB)" (12/2018) 90 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is 100% varietal and made from the best vineyard bl...

2015 Penfolds "Grange" Shiraz South Australia (Pre-Arrival) (Pre-Arrival)
Top Pick!
100 points James Suckling: "Much anticipated vintage for Grange and it is a powerhouse of concentration and complexity. Aromas of orange and lemon peel to start, then graphite, blackberries, plum paste, black cherries, boundless sweet oak spice, fresh cedar, tar, mahogany, roasted coffee and chocolate - the list goes on. Such complexity. Classic Grange, offering such deep, dark intensity. The palate has immense richness and depth with a super succulent and very long, fleshy, deeply weighted array of dense, velvet-wrapped tannins that run so long. The fru...

2015 Andrew Will "Sorella" Horse Heaven Hills Bordeaux Blend
Back In Stock!
98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Sorella is superb, unwinding in the glass with a youthful but already complex bouquet of crushed cassis, cherries, pencil shavings, subtle cigar smoke and espresso roast. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a rock-solid core, juicy acids and a beautifully fine-grained but firm chassis of structuring tannins. If it's the most promising of these 2015s from Chris Camarda, it's also the most backward and in need of cellaring, and as the track record of this bottling demonstrates, its...

2015 Livio Sassetti Pertimali "Mulino" Brunello di Montalcino
Top Pick!
93 points Vinous: "This is the first vintage of the 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Mulino from Pertimali, a lower-elevation cru that’s noted for the high level of marine fossils found in its soils. Here I find a classic display of dried roses, black cherry, dusty earth and freshly-tanned leather. It envelopes the palate in fleshy textures offset by a mix of tart wild berries, zesty acids and savory spice, as building tension puckers the cheeks, seeding them with fine-grained tannins. This comes across as structured yet remarkably balanced, and it’s a beauti...

97 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vielle Vignes carries a deep ruby/purple-tinged color as well as a classic bouquet of black raspberries, ground pepper, garrigue and hints of graphite. Gorgeously pure, elegant and seamless on the palate, with building tannin, it's impeccably balanced and shows the best of this vintage. " (10/2017) 95 points Wine Enthusiast: "With its complex nose melding whiffs of fresh raspberry and violet with savory spice, smoke and nut tones, it's hard not to be mesmerized by this wine's bouquet alone. The palat...

95 points James Suckling: "A rich and layered red with a full body and soft, round tannins. Lovely bayleaf and rose petal undertones. Chocolate and coffee. Denser palate. Plenty of length, but framed nicely. So drinkable but better with age. One for the cellar. Drink or hold." (11/2021) 93 points Wine Spectator: "Features a perfumed profile, with singed vanilla and red tea notes flashing first, followed by a supple-edged core of red currant, plum and cherry preserve flavors. Subtle mineral and sage elements underscore the finish, which shows a fine-gra...
Price: $124.95

95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Half of the fabulous 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee les Origines was aged in new barriques, the rest in concrete vats, so there is some oak in play here, but the blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 20% Syrah has absorbed much of it. This full-bodied wine is tannic and rich, with fruit shading from cherries and red plums all the way through to plum and cola. Mocha and baking spices appear on the long, velvety finish. (JC)" (10/2017) 94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The classic blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre an...

92-95 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Generous wood and menthol presently fight somewhat with the liqueur-like aromas of various dark berries and floral scents, in particular rose petal, lavender and violet. Once again the mouth feel of the broad-shouldered flavors is sleek and sophisticated yet this does not lack for power or mid-palate concentration, all wrapped in a palate coating and mineral-driven finish that is absolutely built-to-age so plenty of patience will be required." (01/2017) 94 points Vinous: "Medium red. Deep, iron-like musky minera...

96 points Vinous: "The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Les Malconsorts 1er Cru seems to have been born to embarrass my rather tepid reaction to this wine from barrel. Wow! This has me smitten. It offers a very floral, seductive bouquet with pressed violet petals liberally scattered over the black cherry and wild strawberry fruit, and just a hint of vanilla in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannin. This is very cohesive, harmonious and silky-smooth in texture, with a light touch of blood orange and brown spices that impart complexity on ...

94 points James Suckling: "This has an array of darker berry and plum fruits with a brambly, lightly spicy edge, too. The palate delivers impeccably fresh, lithe and detailed tannin texture, as well as blue fruit flavors. Juicy and energetic. Long finish. Try from 2020." (08/2017) 94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Le Pied de Baud, a blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault, offers compelling scents of rose petals and raspberries on the nose. While not as richly textural as some of the other cuvées, it's ...

94-97 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Lastly, the 2015 Gigondas Hautes Garrigues (60/40 Grenache and Mourvèdre) is a beauty boasting killer notes of dark fruits, crushed rocks, pepper, garrigue and scorched earth. This seriously good 2015 has building richness, a stacked mid-palate and a huge finish, all suggesting short-term cellaring will be your friend. It will keep for two decades of more." (10/2017) 93-95 points Vinous: "Full ruby. Smoke-accented aromas of red and dark berry liqueur, incense, spicecake and candied flowers show outstanding energy and clarity....

98 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Aged 36 months in new oak, the colossal 2015 Hermitage Ex Voto is up with the finest vintages of this cuvée to date and is certainly in the same ballpark as the 2009 and 2010. This deep, powerful, muscular Hermitage boasts a saturated purple color to go with its huge nose of crème de cassis, freshly crushed rocks, incense, charcoal, and spring flowers. Full-bodied, with good acidity and huge richness and density, it requires 5-7 years of cellaring and should drink well for 40+ years. (JD)" (12/2018) 97 points Vinous: "Deep, glas...

100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "A hold onto your hat wine, the 2015 Château Figeac is pure perfection and one of the wines of this terrific vintage. A blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 28% Cabernet Franc, its deep purple color is followed by a huge nose of crème de cassis, black raspberries, smoked earth, and graphite. This is followed by a full-bodied, opulent and incredibly concentrated Saint-Emilion that has everything in the right places, no hard edges, thrilling purity of fruit, and a great, great finish. This is one of those rare gems that c...

2015 Vieux Château Certan, Pomerol 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) (Pre-Arrival)
Top Pick!
100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "I was able to taste both the 2015 and 2016 grand vins, and these are heavenly, magical wines that could not be any better. Starting with the 2015 Vieux Château Certan, it shows the opulent, flamboyant style of the vintage to a T and reveals a saturated purple/ruby color, a monster bouquet of blackberries, tobacco, kirsch, dried spices, and loamy earth, full-bodied richness, sweet tannins, and a finish that won’t quit. A thrill a minute, wine doesn’t get any better, and I only wish every reader could taste this beauty. Drink it an...

100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Lastly, and a legendary wine in the making, the 2015 Hermitage La Chapelle is reminiscent of the 1990 with its full-bodied, opulently, sexy, yet concentrated style. Offering sensational notes of blackcurrants, smoked herbs, beef blood, and chocolate, it’s a huge yet elegant wine that has masses of sweet tannin, incredible purity and finesse, and a killer finish. It’s the finest wine from this estate in close to 30 years. Hats off to Caroline Fray and Jacques Desvernois!" (01/2018) 98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2...

94 points Vinous: "The 2015 Meyney is an outstanding Saint Estèphe and here confirms its shock victory in the blind Southwold tasting. Intense dark cherries, blackberry and sage on the nose reveal just a hint of iron filings, all very cohesive and demonstrating well-integrated oak. The medium-bodied palate offers fine-grained tannins, good grip and plush red fruit laced with white pepper and sage, leading to a more structured finish than the impressive 2014. Superb. (NM)" (07/2020) 92-94 points Wine Enthusiast: "This wine is poised between great fruits...

2015 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan 6-Pack in OWC (Pre-Arrival) (Pre-Arrival)
Back In Stock!
100 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Haut Brion is a perfect wine that couldn’t be any better and is certainly at the top of this great vintage. A blend of 50% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the balance Cabernet Franc, this full-bodied, concentrated, backward, yet sensationally pure 2015 boast knockout notes of blackcurrants, smoked tobacco, ground herbs, and graphite, with a terrific damp earth/minerality quality emerging with time in the glass. Straight, focused, and built like a skyscraper, with a stacked mid-palate, forget bottles for 7-8 years and...

97 points Vinous: "Autumnal spices, sweet herbs and white smoke give way to ripe cherries and hints of licorice as the deeply seductive 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Bassolino di Sopra unfolds in the glass. This envelops the palate in opulent textural fruits (red and hints of blue), with balsam herbs and nuances of candied citrus lifted by bright acidity. Sweet tannins frame the expression nicely through the slightly candied finish; yet make no mistake, while the Bassolino di Sopra may show the sunny nature of the 2015 vintage, it does so in a wonderfully ...

98 points Decanter: "That sexy, smoky, exuberant feeling of La Croix and Lalande-Borie in 2015 is found here too, but with everything turned up a notch - or rather tuned up a notch, giving finesse and precision to the texture and shape. Pure blackberry and blueberry fruits and an incredibly silky texture draws out through the glass. You can almost slide off this wine it is so expertly played, finessed and presented. And you are so seduced that you almost miss the tannic build up that hits you on the finish. Great stuff! (JA)" (09/2019) 98 points Vinous...

92-94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "The cool and restrained nose of airy red currant earth, underbrush and humus scents is also trimmed in an admirably discreet application of oak. There is a really lovely sense of energy to the intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that are shaped by dense but fine tannins that impart a sophisticated mouth feel to the linear and strikingly persistent finish. This will need time to flesh out but it is a classic Latricières." (01/2017) 92-94 points Vinous: "(aging in 40% new oak, like most of these wines; ...

96 points Wine Enthusiast: "Smoky, earthy anise and dark-chocolate aromas give way to concentrated and layered black-plum, clove and blackberry flavors as this full-bodied wine expands on the palate. Its texture is richly tannic and the mouthfeel is generous, prolonging the lush flavors on the finish. A perennial standout, this wine has proven it can age well. *Top Cellar Sections 2018* (JG)" (11/2018) 92 points Wine & Spirits: "A selection of Terre Rouge’s best barrels, this syrah ages in mostly new French oak for two years, then in bottle prior to re...

93-95 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Reduction. Here there is a similar mouth feel to the Bonnes Mares with a bit more muscle in evidence on the overtly powerful yet velvety and imposingly-scaled flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the slightly firmer and just as impressively persistent finale. This youthfully austere and ultra-serious effort is one of those 'buy and forget you own it' wines as it's going to be very long-lived. *Don't miss!*" (04/2017) 93-95 points Vinous: "Bright ruby. Sexy perfume of black raspberry, minerals, brown spices,...

95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Aromas of rose, woodland berry and menthol with a whiff of pipe tobacco fill the glass. Full bodied and loaded with finesse, the structured, elegant palate delivers juicy Marasca cherry, crushed raspberry, star anise and cinnamon, while taut, fine-grained tannins provide support. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced and focused. Drink 2023-2035. (KO)" (12/2019) 94 points Vinous: "The 2015 Barolo Villero offers richness and darkness with fruit from Castiglione Falletto, and it's one of the more intense wines I tasted within this ...

100 points James Suckling: "Seductive. The nose draws you in deep: It’s like staring into a well of pristine dark cherries, dark plums, blackberries and mulberries. All the oak is perfectly subsumed. The palate’s flawless with immense depth and power and it’s so balanced as to appear to float. Immaculate fresh dark-berry and plum flavors. Silky and deep, ribbon-like finish. Perfect. Best from 2022. *2018 Wine of the Year*" (02/2018) 100 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Canon was a benchmark wine that seemed to revitalize this historic es...

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 97RP, 97VN, 96DC, 93WS). James Suckling: "Purity and brilliance on the nose with so much currant and flower character. Roses, currant bush and fresh leaves, too. Brightness is the word that comes to mind. Full-bodied and broad-shouldered. Juicy and so gorgeous now. Balance is so wonderful here. All about harmonious fruit and tannin balance. I like it slightly better than the excellent 2014. 81% cabernet sauvignon, 4% petit verdot, 7% cabernet franc, 6% merlot and 2% malbec. Drink or hold." (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $580.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Champans" ((93-95BH), 95VN, 93RP). Vinous: "Saturated ruby. Youthfully imploded aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis and licorice show no roasted character ("the color of the wine is the only thing that gives away the vintage, " noted Guillaume d'Angerville). More pliant than the 2016 but with a magical sugar/acid equilibrium and a complicating element of savory minerality. This insidiously palate-saturating wine finishes with outstanding slatey persistence and grip. I would imagine that this will be long-lived but will it ever really shut down in the bottle? It's hard to imagine that this fruit was harvested on September 4. (ST)" (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Cirq "Treehouse Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "More focused, chiseled, and structured, the 2015 Pinot Noir Treehouse Vineyard comes from the more iron-rich soils of the Treehouse Vineyard in the Russian River and it always has more acidity, and tannin, than the Bootlegger’s Hill release. Deeper purple-colored with vibrant notes of black cherries, blueberries, violets, and underbrush, it’s medium-bodied, powerful, and focused on the palate. It will be even better with short-term cellaring. 96+" (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Willow Creek District Red Blend (97JD, 97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A 46% Mourvèdre, 30% Syrah, 14% Petite Sirah and 10% Zinfandel blend, the 2015 Paderewski Vineyard has a deep garnet-purple color and notes of red roses, warm cranberries and blackberries with hints of mulberries, garrigue, moss and dusty earth. Full-bodied, with a lovely fragrant earth and savory-laced palate with firm, grippy tannins and loads of mineral nuances on the long finish. (LPB)" (09/2017)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona "Vigna di Pianrosso - Riserva Santa Caterina D'Oro" Brunello di Montalcino (100JS, 97RP, 97WS, 95DC). James Suckling: "The opulence of fruit and complexity of earth, meat, mushroom and cedar is breathtaking. It’s full-bodied, deep and powerful with so much intensity and depth. Chewy and layered, it goes on for minutes. Give it even more time. Try after 2023." (06/2021)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100JS, 99RP). James Suckling: "Haunting aromas of terracotta, blackberries, plums and sweet tobacco. Very complex nose. Full body, super silky tannins, spices and ripe fruit. Ripe and compressed tannins. A reserved finish. More precise. A sensational wine. Cooler and more defined than the 2013." (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $295.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Booker "The Ones" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Ones is probably the best Cabernet ever made from these limestone hillside vineyards in Paso Robles, and it reminds me of some of the top 2013s from Napa Valley. Blackcurrants, violets, lead pencil shavings, crème caramel and tobacco leaf nuances all emerge from this big, full-bodied beauty that has a stacked mid-palate, good acidity, ripe, present tannin and a structured vibe that’s going to age beautifully. It offers sensational purity and is a killer wine any way you look at it. Forget bottles for 3-4 years and enjoy over the following two decades." (08/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Domaine Nicolas Rossignol Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er Cru "Fourneaux" (95DC, 92BH, 91VN). Decanter: "Wild berries, ripe red cherry, liquorice and incipient sous bois mingle in a complex bouquet, introducing a powerful, large-scaled rendition of Fourneaux. A firm core of fine tannin and bright acidity underpin a wine of striking amplitude and texture. A high point in the portfolio. (WK)" (12/2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, the singular, absolutely compelling 2015 The Absurd opens with a seriously intense black currant cordial and plum preserves core, slowly revealing cedar chest, mincemeat pie, potpourri and spice box hints plus a waft of chocolate-covered cherries. The full-bodied, concentrated palate is packed with opulent black fruits and baking spice layers, featuring a rock-solid backbone of tight-grained tannins and just enough freshness to lift and tantalize on the long, seductive finish. Only 250 cases were made. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $550.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Booker "Fulldraw" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96JD, 95RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Fulldraw comes from a site located just beside Jensen’s estate Booker Vineyard and is 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 20% Syrah. It has a gorgeous, Châteauneuf du Pape-like (it reminds me of Domaine de Marcoux’s Vieilles Vignes cuvée) perfume of red and black fruits, spice-box, incense, fennel and cured meats. Ethereally textured and elegant, yet also ripe, powerful and concentrated, it has ripe tannin, it’s an incredible wine that builds with time in the glass." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Kapcsándy "Estate Cuvée - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 96JS, 95RP). It has an understated elegance, full-bodied richness, a beautiful sweetness of fruit, and a supple, sexy texture that makes it already impossible to resist. Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this magnum of 2015 Chimère (Sine Qua Non) Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (97JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape Chimère is a selection of Mourvèdre made by the Maurel brothers of Clos Saint Jean, oenologist Philippe Cambie, and Sine Qua Non genius Manfred Krankl. I believe there’s a touch of Grenache in the blend, as well as some Clairette and other varieties, but the bulk of this cuvée comes from the famed la Crau lieu-dit and is brought up all in demi-muids. It offers a beautiful perfume of sweet kirsch and blueberry fruit intermixed with loads of licorice, sweet spice, violets, and crushed rocks. Full-bodied, super intense, sweetly fruited, perfumed, and complex, it’s a gorgeous 2015 that does everything right." (02/2018)

Jeb Dunnuck: "Lastly, the inky colored (it's even deeper than the Sabarotte) 2015 Cornas Les Eygats comes from a cooler terroir located in the northern part of the appellation. Raised in equal parts new and used barrels, it offers an utterly profound bouquet of blackberries, blueberries, scorched earth, pepper and liquid flowers. Possessing sensational purity of fruit, integrated acidity, sweet tannin and perfect balance, it's another remarkably elegant yet powerful, heavenly Syrah from this estate that readers shouldn't miss. It's up with the finest Cornas ever made. Bravo!" (01/2018)

Full-bodied, deep, voluptuously textured and layered, with sweet tannin, this incredible beauty stays pure and elegant on the palate, with perfect balance. It's going to drink nicely for two decades as well. Drink 2018 - 2038" (04/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Colgin "Tychson Hill Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 98JS, 97VN, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Four acres are now in production at this singular, historic hillside vineyard next to the former cottage of Josephine Tychson, lovingly restored by Ann Colgin. The vineyard truly offers a unique expression of Napa Valley, with beautiful fruit layers, great elegance and the most profound fragrance being signatures of the vintages I have tasted. Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard jumps out of the glass with all the vibrancy of this vintage, singing notes of cassis, crushed red cherries and mulberries with touches of chocolate, espresso, baking spices, cloves and black soil plus wafts of lavender and dried roses. Medium to full-bodied, it has wonderful elegance and finesse in the mouth, offering many mineral, black fruit and savory layers, finishing long and perfumed. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard is a little closed and broody to begin, giving way to notions of licorice, tar, Indian spices and camphor with a core of crème de cassis, plum preserves and blueberry compote. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers retrained black fruits and earthy layers with a firm, chewy frame and a long savory finish. 93+ (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2015 M. Chapoutier "Les Granilites" St. Joseph (94RP, 93DC, 92JD, 92JS, 92VN). This full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine should provide close to two decades of drinking pleasure. (JC)" (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Sine Qua Non "Le Chemin Vers L'Hérésie" California Grenache (99JD, 98RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "I loved the 2015 Grenache le Chemin Vers l’Heresie from barrel, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint from bottle. The 2015 checks in as a blend of 75% Grenache, 13% Mourvèdre, 8% Touriga Nacional and the rest Petite Sirah, fermented with 44% whole clusters (all from the Grenache and Mourvèdre) and aged close to two years in mostly used barrel. It sports a ruby/purple-tinged color to go with gorgeous notes of black cherries, framboise, black olives, fennel seed, and peppery herbs. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Joseph Phelps "Larry Hyde & Sons Vineyard" Napa Valley Syrah (93JD, 91RP, 91VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Syrah is a beauty! Ripe, forward and incredibly sexy, with awesome notes of black raspberries, blueberries, spiced meats and spring flowers, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, loads of sweet California fruit, and a light, elegant texture that keeps it lively and oh so drinkable." Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Cirq "Bootlegger's Hill" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Pinot Noir Bootlegger's Hill was made primarily by Nico Cueva, who’s the winemaker for Kosta Browne. This is a ripe, medium to full-bodied, broad, and expansive effort from the Russian River Valley that offers terrific notes of strawberries and cherry fruit, lots of violets and forest floor nuances, silky tannin, and loads of spice on the finish. In short, it’s a classic Russian River Pinot Noir to drink over the coming decade." (06/2018)
