Pietro Caciorgna is located in the town of Casole d 'Elsa in the heart of Tuscany. Giovanni and Fulvia Caciorgna moved there in 1953 with their seven children and set up a small farm with a vineyard. The term "alberaia" refers to a row of trees, usually along a river, where fairs would be held or "fair dell'Alberaia." Winery tasting notes: "It has a good balance, a slight acidity, a medium body and a pleasant round finish. Alberaia has a personality that meets all tastes and offers a simple and pleasant company for every occasion."
