Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Williams Selyem Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (92W&S, 91ST, 91WE). Wine & Spirits: "Bob Cabral received more fruit than usual from David Hirsch’s far-coast vineyard in 2012, so this wine is actually more than 20% Hirsch. The provenance of the fruit shows through as a delicious blast of energy, the wine lasting on a wild raspberry tang that pulls savory depth behind it, a sous bois undertone that speaks to the redwoods and sandstone ridges of the Sonoma Coast." (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97JD, 97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard, which comes primarily from the Calera clone (although I suspect there are a few mystery clones in their plantings), always seems to remind me of a grand cru from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, particularly Morey-St.-Denis. Dense ruby/plum, its sweet nose of strawberries, black cherry liqueur, fresh porcini mushrooms and forest floor is followed by a dark, full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine that is supple, dramatic, and even flamboyant. Starting Bid: $490.00

Bid on this 5-half-bottle lot of 2012 Copain Kiser En Haut Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (375ml) (92VN). Vinous: The 2012 Pinot Noir Kiser En Haut is bright and beautifully delineated from the very first taste. Freshly cut flowers, mint and crushed rocks add nuance to a core of precise, crystalline fruit in a Pinot that impresses for its energy. Interestingly, the 2013 was made from fully destemmed fruit. Readers should plan on cellaring the 2012 for at least a year or two to allow the firm tannins to soften a bit. (AG) (01/2015)
Starting Bid: $75.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (98RP, 96CG, 95VN, 93WS, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Claret Reserve is a blend of 66% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot aged in 40% new French oak for 22 months. The bulk of the fruit comes from the Sonoma side of their vineyards, with about 28% from Napa. There are 586 cases of this red, which is one of the more potent wines in the Pride lineup at 14.9% alcohol. The wine has great intensity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and loads of créme de cassis, chocolate, plum, licorice and foresty undertones. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JS, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, Realm’s perfect 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard exhibits a La Mission Haut-Brion-like bouquet of blueberries, scorched earth, burning embers and spring flowers, a dense, opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a staggeringly long, multidimensional, 60-second finish. It can be drunk with enormous pleasure now, but promises to evolve for at least a quarter of a century. For historical buffs, the Dr. Crane Vineyard is named after a real doctor, who first planted the vineyard in 1858. In the 1920s, this small area was once considered the home of migrant Chinese workers. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)

Vinous: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard is deep, dense and beautifully layered throughout. Pliant and resonant, the Gaps Crown is above all else a wine of texture. Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (93WE, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Named after the famed vineyard’s south-facing slopes, this vintage is expertly crafted, with aromas of ripe red cherry, sandalwood, black pepper, graphite, purple flowers and damp pine needles. It’s complex, with dark red fruit and tickling cardamom spice set against fine-grained tannins. *Cellar Selection* (MK)" (04/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Corison "Kronos Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JG, 95VN, 94JS, 93CG). John Gilman: "I had not tasted the 2012 Kronos Vineyard from Cathy Corison since its release in the spring of 2015 and was very happy that it was in our lineup at the winery in September. I loved this wine out of the blocks and it was showing brilliant potential at the winery, soaring from the glass in a beautiful, young aromatic blend of red and black cherries, a touch of eucalyptus, Rutherford dust, tobacco leaf and a very suave base of new wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a lovely core of sappy fruit, great focus and grip, fine-grained tannins and exquisite balance on the very, very long and refined finish. This is, of course, still a very young wine, but it will be one of the defining wines of Cathy’s illustrious career when all is said and done!" (05/2017)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Clos de la Tech "Domaine Lois Louise - Twisty Ridge" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This winery atop the mountains overlooking Silicon Valley makes amazingly earthy and age-worthy wines. This bottling's nose is soil-driven, with sun-baked loam laid across red cherry, condensed lilacs, cola and sandalwood aromas. The sip is structured firmly and strategically like the frame of a well-built home, where dark mulberry and savory spices reside. *Top 100 Cellar Selections 2017* (MK)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 95VN). Decanter: "Savoury and structured, this opens up in the glass to reveal brooding notes of black cherry, cocoa, woodsmoke and black olive. Finely grained but abundant tannins structure a palate of kalaedescopic complexity. Seriously cellarworthy. (WK)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $725.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Hundred Acre "Fortunate Son" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((95-97RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As for the Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines, there is the blend called Fortunate Son, and the 2012 edition is still in barrel. It displays opulence in its wonderfully sweet, pure blackberry and black currant fruit along with some earthiness, spice box, graphite and background oak. This is fleshy, rich, broad, and certainly capable of lasting another 10-15 years. The genius of Jayson Woodbridge is not in dispute. A bigger than life character, he has a certain personal flamboyance and no-prisoners-taken persona, but what he and his team do in the vineyards and winery speaks for itself. These are remarkable wines, with his Cabernet Sauvignons some of the very finest in the world, and his Pinot Noir projects all high quality and pleasing to a multitude of diverse palates. (RP)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Kapcsándy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98VN, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The perfect 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Vin State Lane Vineyard is 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot aged 20 months in 100% new French oak. I think this is the third perfect score I’ve given to this wine, which is the essence of their vineyard, representing about 13% of the total production, or a mere 320 cases. The wine has a gorgeously opaque purple color and a beautiful nose of camphor, charcoal, blackberry and cr?me de cassis with licorice and truffle. It has unbelievable richness, great texture, tremendous finesse, precision and delineation. Very intense, full-bodied and super-pure, the length of the wine must be at least 50+ seconds. This is a gorgeous wine and one of the great superstars of this fabulous vintage. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $630.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (96RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Surprisingly tannic and structured for a wine that’s normally the most approachable and sexy, the 2012 Paderewski Vineyard checks in as a blend of 45% Zinfandel, 36% Mourvedre, 12% Tempranillo and 7% Petite Sirah. It possesses the classic chalky minerality of the vineyard to go with exotic perfumed notes of black raspberry, plums, brambly underbrush and assorted background meatiness. This all flows to a full-bodied, elegant and polished wine that has solid mid-palate depth and chewy, firm tannin on the finish. (JD) 96+" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow "M. Etain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon M. Etain is in essence a second wine, but it sure doesn’t taste like one. Its deep purple color is followed by pure black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, dusty, loamy soil notes, extraordinary depth of fruit, ripeness and good acidity. One of the classic wines of Napa Valley, Scarecrow’s Cabernet Sauvignons are made by well-known winemaking consultant Celia Welch. This historic vineyard in Rutherford, which owns some of the oldest vines in all of Napa, continues to turn out some of Napa’s most profound Cabernet Sauvignons. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Sloan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (OWC - 97RP, 97VN) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2012 Sloan is dark, sensual and voluptuous to the core. Soft edges and radiant, luxurious fruit add to the wine's undeniably raciness. Absolutely impeccable, the 2012 Sloan is also a fabulous example of the year at its best. (AG)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Williams Selyem Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92WE, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Showing impeccable elegance, this is totally dry and tart in acidity, with a quietly tannic astringency that suggests pairing with lamb or steak. While it’s not an ager, the cola, pomegranate, cherry and mushroom flavors are classic and complex." (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $135.00
