Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Williams Selyem Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (92W&S, 91ST, 91WE). Wine & Spirits: "Bob Cabral received more fruit than usual from David Hirsch’s far-coast vineyard in 2012, so this wine is actually more than 20% Hirsch. The provenance of the fruit shows through as a delicious blast of energy, the wine lasting on a wild raspberry tang that pulls savory depth behind it, a sous bois undertone that speaks to the redwoods and sandstone ridges of the Sonoma Coast." (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97JD, 97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard, which comes primarily from the Calera clone (although I suspect there are a few mystery clones in their plantings), always seems to remind me of a grand cru from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, particularly Morey-St.-Denis. Dense ruby/plum, its sweet nose of strawberries, black cherry liqueur, fresh porcini mushrooms and forest floor is followed by a dark, full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine that is supple, dramatic, and even flamboyant. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $490.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Frédéric Esmonin Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru (94RP, 92BH, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru comes from a small 0.15-hectare parcel on red soils planted between 1949 and 1959 that produced just two barrels this year. Like many wines from this grand cru, it has a vivacious, captivating bouquet with violet-tinged black and red fruit, hints of forest floor and iodine that makes it compelling. The palate is very pure, blackcurrant pastille-infused entry, but this is more about its satin-like texture and harmony. It simply glides across the mouth with a seamless finish that carries the 100% new oak with style. (NM)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Domaine Faiveley Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru ((92-95BH), (92-95ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A pure and manifestly earthy and sauvage nose offers up notes of red and dark currant, humus and underbrush. There is excellent volume and mid-palate density to the beautifully delineated medium weight plus flavors that possess terrific focus and plenty of minerality on the strikingly long finish. As is usually the case this is markedly austere at present and will need plenty of cellar time before it's ready for prime time but it should be well worth the wait. *Don't Miss!*" (01/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (98RP, 96CG, 95VN, 93WS, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Claret Reserve is a blend of 66% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot aged in 40% new French oak for 22 months. The bulk of the fruit comes from the Sonoma side of their vineyards, with about 28% from Napa. There are 586 cases of this red, which is one of the more potent wines in the Pride lineup at 14.9% alcohol. The wine has great intensity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and loads of créme de cassis, chocolate, plum, licorice and foresty undertones. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JS, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, Realm’s perfect 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard exhibits a La Mission Haut-Brion-like bouquet of blueberries, scorched earth, burning embers and spring flowers, a dense, opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a staggeringly long, multidimensional, 60-second finish. It can be drunk with enormous pleasure now, but promises to evolve for at least a quarter of a century. For historical buffs, the Dr. Crane Vineyard is named after a real doctor, who first planted the vineyard in 1858. In the 1920s, this small area was once considered the home of migrant Chinese workers. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru "153rd Anniversary Cuvee" (92BH, 92VN). Vinous: "Jadot’s 2012 Beaune 1er Cru Celebration is aromatically quite expressive, with lovely bright, floral notes that play off a core of red berry and stone fruits. The gracious, almost feminine, bouquet is alluring and suggests a wine that is quite open, but the palate sensation is completely different. Tiny yields and high skin to juice ratios yielded red Burgundies with huge tannic clout that obscures the fruit, which is exactly how the wine comes across in tasting. It will be interesting to see if the 2012 softens over time, or if it gains volume with aging. Today, it is decidedly on the austere side of things. (AG)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Falesco "Marciliano" Cabernet Sauvignon - Cabernet Franc Umbria (93JS). James Suckling: "A red with lots of dried-fruit and cedar aromas and flavors. Dark chocolate and spices. Full body, velvety tannins and a flavorful finish. Chewy. A Cabernet Franc blend." (07/2016)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Banfi "Poggio All'Oro" Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (93RP, 93VN, 93WS). Vinous: "Deep red. Enticing floral notes complicate the nose of ripe red cherry, smoked sausage, bay leaf and a nuance of raw red meat. Then clean, fresh and long, showing a savory, almost metallic quality on the long, mountingly austere finish. This very serious Brunello strikes me as being less perfumed and sweet than past vintages of Poggio all’Oro, but it will likely develop very well and last. 93+ (ID)" (04/2018)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2012 d'Arenberg "Sticks and Stones" Tempranillo McLaren Vale South Australia (91VN). Vinous: "Deep ruby. Deep-pitched dark berry, licorice and floral aromas, joined by cracked pepper and cola nuances in the background. Sappy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry and blueberry flavors that are given backbone and lift by a core of juicy acidity. A smoky nuance appears on a long, dark-fruit-driven finish shaped by gently chewy, harmonious tannins. (JR)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour - Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95DC, 95JS, 94RP, 94WE, 93ST, 93VN). James Suckling: "Lots of asphalt, walnut, licorice and blackberry character. Full body, chewy and tannic with loads of structure and tension. Muscular and poised. Needs four or five years more of aging. Solid. " (05/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Kosta Browne "Gap's Crown Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93RP, 93VN, 92CG, 92ST, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard is deep, dense and beautifully layered throughout. Pliant and resonant, the Gaps Crown is above all else a wine of texture. Dark red cherry and plum notes flesh out in a voluptuous, racy Pinot that captures the essence of this site and the vintage. Silky tannins support the gracious, resonant finish. (AG)" (01/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Corison "Kronos Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JG, 95VN, 94JS, 93CG). John Gilman: "I had not tasted the 2012 Kronos Vineyard from Cathy Corison since its release in the spring of 2015 and was very happy that it was in our lineup at the winery in September. I loved this wine out of the blocks and it was showing brilliant potential at the winery, soaring from the glass in a beautiful, young aromatic blend of red and black cherries, a touch of eucalyptus, Rutherford dust, tobacco leaf and a very suave base of new wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a lovely core of sappy fruit, great focus and grip, fine-grained tannins and exquisite balance on the very, very long and refined finish. This is, of course, still a very young wine, but it will be one of the defining wines of Cathy’s illustrious career when all is said and done!" (05/2017)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Clos de la Tech "Domaine Lois Louise - Twisty Ridge" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This winery atop the mountains overlooking Silicon Valley makes amazingly earthy and age-worthy wines. This bottling's nose is soil-driven, with sun-baked loam laid across red cherry, condensed lilacs, cola and sandalwood aromas. The sip is structured firmly and strategically like the frame of a well-built home, where dark mulberry and savory spices reside. *Top 100 Cellar Selections 2017* (MK)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 95VN). Decanter: "Savoury and structured, this opens up in the glass to reveal brooding notes of black cherry, cocoa, woodsmoke and black olive. Finely grained but abundant tannins structure a palate of kalaedescopic complexity. Seriously cellarworthy. (WK)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $725.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Bibi Graetz "Testamatta" Rosso Toscana (95JS, 94WS). James Suckling: "A silky and structured red with tiles, dark berries and lightly shaved chocolate. Full body, firm tannins and a persistent finish. Shows zest and liveliness. " (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Hundred Acre "Fortunate Son" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((95-97RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As for the Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines, there is the blend called Fortunate Son, and the 2012 edition is still in barrel. It displays opulence in its wonderfully sweet, pure blackberry and black currant fruit along with some earthiness, spice box, graphite and background oak. This is fleshy, rich, broad, and certainly capable of lasting another 10-15 years. The genius of Jayson Woodbridge is not in dispute. A bigger than life character, he has a certain personal flamboyance and no-prisoners-taken persona, but what he and his team do in the vineyards and winery speaks for itself. These are remarkable wines, with his Cabernet Sauvignons some of the very finest in the world, and his Pinot Noir projects all high quality and pleasing to a multitude of diverse palates. Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Kapcsándy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98VN, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The perfect 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Vin State Lane Vineyard is 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot aged 20 months in 100% new French oak. I think this is the third perfect score I’ve given to this wine, which is the essence of their vineyard, representing about 13% of the total production, or a mere 320 cases. The wine has a gorgeously opaque purple color and a beautiful nose of camphor, charcoal, blackberry and cr?me de cassis with licorice and truffle. It has unbelievable richness, great texture, tremendous finesse, precision and delineation. Very intense, full-bodied and super-pure, the length of the wine must be at least 50+ seconds. This is a gorgeous wine and one of the great superstars of this fabulous vintage. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $630.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur Volnay 1er Cru "Taillepieds" (1.5L) ((91-93VN)). Vinous: "A layered, totally exquisite wine, the 2012 Volnay Taillepieds impresses for its balance above all else. The aromas and flavors are beautifully detailed and nuanced in a Taillepieds that is all about crystalline purity. This tasting catches the 2012 in a slightly raw, unpolished state, but nothing a little time in bottle won't take care of. (AG) 91-93+" (01/2014)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Arnaldo Caprai "25 Anni" Sagrantino di Montefalco (92WS). (AN)" (05/2018)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Château du Moulin-à-Vent "La Rochelle" Moulin-à-Vent (92WE, 91BH, 91RP, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "From a single parcel that is above the emblematic windmill of Moulin-à-Vent, this wine shows its 16 months of wood aging in its smooth and perfumed character. Cherries and freshly ground spice mix with some firm tannins to give structure while leaving room for the fruit." (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow "M. Etain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon M. Etain is in essence a second wine, but it sure doesn’t taste like one. Its deep purple color is followed by pure black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, dusty, loamy soil notes, extraordinary depth of fruit, ripeness and good acidity. One of the classic wines of Napa Valley, Scarecrow’s Cabernet Sauvignons are made by well-known winemaking consultant Celia Welch. This historic vineyard in Rutherford, which owns some of the oldest vines in all of Napa, continues to turn out some of Napa’s most profound Cabernet Sauvignons. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Sloan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (OWC - 97RP, 97VN) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2012 Sloan is dark, sensual and voluptuous to the core. Soft edges and radiant, luxurious fruit add to the wine's undeniably raciness. Absolutely impeccable, the 2012 Sloan is also a fabulous example of the year at its best. (AG)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Williams Selyem Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92WE, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Showing impeccable elegance, this is totally dry and tart in acidity, with a quietly tannic astringency that suggests pairing with lamb or steak. While it’s not an ager, the cola, pomegranate, cherry and mushroom flavors are classic and complex." (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine de Montille Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Aux Thorey" ((92-94RP), (90-92BH), (90-92ST)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Thorey comes from the domaine’s 0.73-hectare parcel. This vintage is 100% whole cluster and sees around 50% new oak. It has an earthy, mushroom and dried blood-scented bouquet that is very engaging and well-defined. The palate is firm and grippy on the entry. This is very concentrated with a fine bead of acidity, yet the grip is gentle and not imposing. The swagger demonstrated at this nascent stage suggests that this may evolve into one of Domaine de Montille’s finest 2012. (NM)" (12/2013)
