Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Rochioli "Three Corner" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir ((94-96RP), 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From a 3.5-acre parcel, the 2012 Pinot Noir Three Corners is staggering. A phenomenal bouquet of kirsch, black raspberries, black currants, graphite and lavender soars from the glass of this full-bodied, opulent, stunningly rich Pinot. Most knowledgeable people in the wine world have enormous respect for the integrity, honesty and exceptionally high quality of the wines emanating from the Rochioli Vineyards in the Russian River area. Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Robert Mondavi "To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon". This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed To Kalon Vineyard. Vineyard notes from the winery: "When Robert Mondavi chose the To Kalon Vineyard as the home for his new winery in 1966 he remarked that 'It was a vineyard with a distinguished history and a magical nature. Ideal soils, sunlight, and rain—to my eye, the vineyard was a treasure.' Those sentiments were re-confirmed when the To Kalon Vineyard was named ‘Vineyard of the Year’ by the California State Farm Bureau, and the site continues to hold a special grand cru status in the Napa Valley. The To Kalon Vineyard lies in west Oakville where the low fertility, well-drained soils combine with optimal sun exposure to yield rich, complex flavors and impeccable fruit maturity."
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 E. Guigal "La Landonne" Côte-Rôtie (100RP, 98WS, 97JS, 96DC, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The utterly perfect 2012 Côte Rôtie La Landonne is the star of three single vineyards in 2012. Possessing an off-the-charts sexiness in its layered, concentrated and full-bodied style, it has a wealth of fruit, ripe tannin, a stacked mid-palate and pedal-to-the-metal notes of black fruits, scorched earth, caramelized meats and crushed rocks. While this cuvée normally needs a decade to become drinkable, there’s a sweetness of fruit here that allows it to offer incredible pleasure even today. Nevertheless, give bottles 5-6 years and enjoy over the following three decades. (JD)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 95JS, 95RP, (92-95ST)). Vinous: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard has really blossomed over the last year. A glorious, towering Cabernet Sauvignon offers super depth an intensity, with the voluptuous personality of the vintage on full display. Sweet red cherry, pomegranate, mocha and espresso all flesh out in the glass. The Backus is not as open nor expressive as the Insignia is today, but it is tremendous in its beauty and overall pedigree. This is a terrific example of contemporary Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This is the last vintage made from the vineyards that were planted in 1975. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $625.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 94JS, 93VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Of the three Beckstoffer Vineyards, it’s pretty much a joyride as to which one readers may prefer. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane moves more toward the wet rock, blueberry, raspberry fruit spectrum, but still stays dark and foreboding, very concentrated and full-bodied. The great terroir comes through and the wine is distinctive, singular, opulent and rich. Another fabulous success from Paul Hobbs and one more showcase wine for this great vineyard. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Sullivan "Premier Napa Valley" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded by Jim and Joanna Sullivan in 1978, the Sullivan estate is in the heart of Rutherford. This bottling is a special cuvée created for the Premier Napa Valley auction.
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Turley "Estate" Napa Valley Zinfandel ((91-93RP), 93VN). Vinous: "Savory overtones meld into dark red stone fruits, tobacco, menthol, pine and licorice in the 2012 Zinfandel Turley Estate. This is one of the more feminine, gracious wines in the range. The fruit is pliant and supple throughout, which gives the 2012 much of its near-term appeal. Savory herb and floral notes are laced into the finish. (AG)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95DC, 93WE, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask 23 reveals more oak on the nose, but is a much deeper, richer, fuller wine than the S.L.V. Dense ruby/purple to the rim, beautiful blackberry and cassis fruit, cedar wood, toast and earth jump from the glass. Full-bodied and layered, but with nothing out of balance, this is probably the strongest Cask 23 since the glory years of the mid-80s. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97DC, 97RP, 96VN, 95JS, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Of the three Beckstoffer Vineyards, it’s pretty much a joyride as to which one readers may prefer. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard (readers may remember the 2002 merited a 100-point score) has a beautiful blueberry and blackberry fruit note, a hint of incense, charcoal, an opaque purple color, full-bodied opulence and again that first-growth quality, richness, complexity and intensity. I’m not sure this is as compelling as the 2002, but it’s not far away. This is a magnificent, multi-dimensional, skyscraper-like Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 15-20 years. From one of Northern California’s most accomplished and respected wine consultants and producers, the 2012s and 2013s will create high expectations, and readers are unlikely to be disappointed by Paul Hobbs and his team. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Haut-Bailly, Pessac-Léognan (96JD, 96VN, 94DC, 94RP, 94WE, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Haut Bailly is quite fragrant and inviting. Dark raspberries, mint, crushed flowers, spices and rose petals all lift from the glass in this feminine, gracious Haut-Bailly that offers considerable near and medium-term appeal. All the elements fall into place in an effortless, stunningly beautiful wine endowed with personality and class. One of the wines of the vintage, the Haut Bailly will drink well for two decades-plus. This is a superb showing from proprietor Bob Wilmers and his team headed by Véronique Sanders. The decision to lower temperatures in fermentation and go for a soft, gentle extraction, along with strict selection has paid off big time. (AG)" (01/2016)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Soutiran "Brut Millésimé" Grand Cru Champagne (95WE, 94RP). Wine Enthusiast: "The partial wood aging has brought both complexity and rich softness to this fine blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Its fine fruits are gently maturing into a ripe, rounded character that will stay for many years. This is a fine wine that will be ready from 2021. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 1, 580 cases of the 2012 James Berry Vineyard and it reminds me of the 2009 Janasse Chaupin (which is one of Justin’s favorite wines). Incorporating more Mourvèdre than normal, it’s made from 43% Grenache, 29% Mourvèdre, 18% Syrah and 10% Counoise that’s aged in a combination of concrete and barrel. Rock star stuff, with fabulous black raspberry, cassis, spring flowers and charred meat aromas and flavors, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness and depth, yet stays lively, incredibly pure and elegant, with lots of fine tannin emerging on the finish. (JD) 97+" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Keller Westhofener Kirchspiel Riesling Grosses Gewächs (dry) Rheinhessen (95JG, 92VN). John Gilman: "Klaus-Peter Keller’s old vines in the Kirchspiel will celebrate their fiftieth birthdays in 2014, so this parcel is really at the top of its game at the present time and this brilliant 2012er may well be the greatest example I have yet tasted from Klaus-Peter. The flawlessly ripe and pure nose soars from the glass in a blend of pink grapefruit, orange, a gentle base of wild yeasts, stunning complex minerality, a touch of petrol, citrus zest and lemon blossoms. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and seamless, with a superb core of fruit, dazzling complexity, ripe acids and stunning focus and grip on the very, very long and pinpoint finish. Just a brilliant bottle of dry Riesling! 95+" (03/2013)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru "Célébration - 153rd Anniversary Cuvee" (92BH, 92VN). Vinous: "Jadot’s 2012 Beaune 1er Cru Celebration is aromatically quite expressive, with lovely bright, floral notes that play off a core of red berry and stone fruits. The gracious, almost feminine, bouquet is alluring and suggests a wine that is quite open, but the palate sensation is completely different. Tiny yields and high skin to juice ratios yielded red Burgundies with huge tannic clout that obscures the fruit, which is exactly how the wine comes across in tasting. It will be interesting to see if the 2012 softens over time, or if it gains volume with aging. Today, it is decidedly on the austere side of things. (AG)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 M. Chapoutier "de l'Orée" Ermitage Blanc (99JD, 99RP, 97WS, 94JS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Ermitage Cuvee de l'Oree is still firing on all cylinders, sporting heavenly notes of powdered rock, white flowers, honeyed orange blossom, white currants and a saltiness that keeps you coming back to the glass. Full-bodied, voluptuous and decadent, drink it anytime over the coming 2-3 decades. (JD)" (12/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 V12 "Premier Napa Valley - Twelve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded by the Vasser family (Jimmy Vasser, Jr. a former IndyCar champ) the estate is located on property previously dedicated to the Mondavi family's chicken farm. Grapes come from the estate's four vineyard blocks on the eastern side of Napa. This special bottling was made for the annual Napa Valley Premier auction.
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (97RP, 96JS, 94VN, 94WS, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is the first year that this wine was made from 100% estate-grown fruit from Continuum’s Sage Mountain vineyard. A blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot and 2% Merlot, the 2012 Proprietary Red has a deep garnet-purple color and gorgeous crème de cassis, exotic spices, fragrant earth and Christmas pudding notions with touches of chocolate box and licorice. The palate is full-bodied and deliciously concentrated, with a firm, grainy-textured backbone supporting the impressive mid-palate density, finishing very long and harmonious. (LPB)" (02/2019)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Lewis Cellars "Ethan's" Napa Valley Syrah (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Tightly focused on a core of tart, earthy dark berry, cedar, chicory and dill flavors, staying trim and tannic throughout. Needs air or cellar time. (JL)" (02/2015)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sine Qua Non "Rattrapante - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (100RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine any way you look at it, the 2012 Grenache Rattrapante comes all from the Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills and spent 33 months in 27% new French oak. My notes start - and end - with “Wow.” Giving up tons of black raspberries, peppery herbs, licorice, dried flowers and cured meats, it’s a massively concentrated, rich and layered Grenache that somehow manages to stay graceful, lively and fresh on the palate. There are roughly 800 cases of this elixir and any Grenache lover should do their best to latch onto a bottle (or two). It’s also worth noting that this cuvee saw 26% whole clusters, which is a small change from past vintages. (JD)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 6" Central Coast Red Blend (1.5L) (99RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine that flirts with perfection, the 2012 Cumulus Vineyard #6 is an interesting blend of 38% Syrah, 37% Grenache, 17.4% Petite Sirah and the rest Mourvedre that saw 33 months in 54% new French oak. There’s a tiny 191 cases made, and it’s one of the most singular, exotic wines I’ve tasted. Spice, cedar, chocolate, exotic flowers and an assortment of dark fruits all emerge from this full-bodied, layered blend that hits the palate with serious richness and depth. Yet, like all truly great wines, it’s light, ethereal and never, ever heavy. (JD)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $475.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Melville "Sandy's" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (96RP, 94VN, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The most fruit-forward in the lineup, the 2012 Pinot Noir Sandy’s was mostly destemmed (60%) and saw only neutral oak barrels for 18 months. Cassis, black raspberry, sweet spice, violets and hints of rose petal all show here, and it hits the palate with fabulous purity of fruit, loads of texture and a terrific finish. It’s another rock-star Pinot Noir from Greg that checks in near the top of the vintage. (JD)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 94VN, 92JS, 90WS) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2012 Au Sommet Elev 2100 Ft. captures all the radiance of the vintage in its ample, explosive personality. Sweet red cherries, spices, new leather and mocha all flesh out as this juicy, silky Cabernet Sauvignon shows off its alluring personality. Heidi Barrett has largely tamed the Atlas Peak tannins and what comes through is a racy, voluptuous Cabernet that will be nearly impossible to resist in its youth. Today, it is particularly expressive. (AG)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Vincent & Sophie Morey Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Truffière" (91BH, (89-91ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Outstanding! A notably ripe nose features essence of pear and white peach along with hints of acacia blossom and oak toast. The mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors is thick to the point of lush opulence thanks to the abundant dry extract that coats the palate on the balanced and lingering finish. This is impressive because despite how rich this is, there is absolutely no sense of undue heaviness, in part because the minerality adds lift. Worth considering" (06/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Pulido Walker "Panek Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (clones 6, 7 and 169) from a vineyard situated near the well-known Vineyard 29, on a hillside near the Markham Winery north of St. Helena. A classic 2012 – dramatic and flamboyant – with blackberry and cassis fruit intermixed with melted licorice, white chocolate, espresso roast and a touch of wood. Full-bodied, deliciously round and succulent, it is a hedonistic concoction of yummy fruit, glycerin and silky tannins. Consume it over the next 10-15 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Antoine Jobard Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" (93BH, (90-93ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is already quite expressive with its pretty nose of white peach, dried apricot, apple and floral scents. The palate impression is quite tight and particularly so for the vintage with notably rich yet focused and intense medium weight flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality that adds lift to the clean, dry and balanced finish that displays more than a touch of youthful austerity. In fact this terrific effort is borderline racy and is perhaps a bit less Charmes in style than usual at present, though I suspect that it will flesh out considerably once its allowed a few years of cellar time. *Outstanding*" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Vineyard 29 "29 Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, (94-96ST), 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Stunning, but a more classic and elegant wine without any of the scorched earth , Graves-like character of the Aida Vineyard is the classic 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 29 Estate. This is a fabulous property on the lower hillsides of the Mayacamas Mountains. A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot aged in 100% new French oak, the 2012 is inky purple, with a gorgeous nose of lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, blackberry and blueberry fruit, cedar wood and baking spices. Dense, multi-layered, full-bodied and beautifully pure, this is a stunner to drink over the next 20-25 years." (10/2014)
