99 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The nearly perfect 2012 Chardonnay Belle Côte boasts an amazing perfume of pineapple marmalade, tangerine oil, wet rocks and citrus blossoms. This full-bodied, stunning Chardonnay has a creamy texture as well as fabulous underlying mineral characteristics. One of the great wines of the vintage, this amazing Chardonnay can be enjoyed over the next decade or more. (RP)" (12/2014) 95 points James Suckling: "Aromas of flint, pineapples, sliced apples, white peaches, pears and light honey. Ginger. A full-bodied, bro...

James Suckling: "Amazing aromas of blueberry, blackberry, mineral and bark. Complex nose. Full body plus super integrated tannins with superb balance and depth. Coffee and chocolate too. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Obsidian Proprietary Red is a 580-case blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot. A complex nose of spring flowers, white chocolate, black cherry and cassis as well as touches of blackberry and espresso is followed by a multi-layered wine with stunning concentration, seductive and sexy notes of low acidity, plenty of glycerin and sweet tannin. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 99RP, 98JS, 97VN, 95DC, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "With the lowest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in of any of the wines from this vertical, the 2012 final blend was 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Production across the board in 2012 was high, and reflected in the 3, 977 cases made at Spottswoode. This is a dramatic, flamboyant, modern-day version of the 2002. Dramatic blueberry, black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, along with camphor, charcoal, white flowers and foresty notes all emerge from the impressive aromatics that soar from the glass. The intense, explosively rich, full-bodied palate is layered with beautiful purity, stunningly sweet, silky tannins and terrific presence and complexity. This is a gorgeous wine on a relatively fast evolutionary track, I suspect, but certainly it has 30 years of upside left. (RP)" (08/2016)

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Darioush "Signature" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95WE, 91CG, 90JS, 90WS). Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sine Qua Non "Stein" Central Coast Grenache (97RP, (95-97VN)). Vinous: "The 2012 Grenache Stein is incredibly refined, silky and pure, with bright red and blue-hued fruits. Today, the flavors are primary, so readers will have to be patient get the full breadth of aromas, flavors and textures. The Stein is a decidedly feminine, gracious Grenache that impresses for its textural beauty and nuance. I imagine it will provide a long and broad drinking window of pure pleasure over the next 15-20 years. This is an absolutely gorgeous wine from Sine Qua Non. The final blend is 76% Grenache, 16% Syrah and 8% Mourvèdre; 53% from Eleven Confessions, 29% from Cumulus, 9% The Third Twin and 9% Bien Nacido. The 2012 was done with 29% whole clusters and will spend around 22 months in French oak (14%) prior to its scheduled bottling this summer. (AG)" (08/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Lail "J. Daniel Cuvée" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Absolutely perfect and one of the monumental wines of my long tasting trip in Napa is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon J. Daniel Cuvée. I didn’t see this from barrel last year. Aged 20 months in 75% new French oak and representing 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from three vineyard sources: one in Calistoga, one in Oakville and one in Howell Mountain. Robin Lail and winemaker Philippe Melka hit pay dirt with a wine that has an inky purple color, an almost amazing bouquet that reminded me of 1989 Chateau Montrose when it was young. Sweet almost truffle-infused earth, graphite, forest floor, blackcurrant and black cherry notes are followed by a full-bodied wine with a hint of mocha and licorice. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98VN, 96JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from time to time. I won't be surprised if the 2013 and 2014 both eventually surpass it, but there is no denying that the 2012 is simply stunning today. This is one of the best showings yet for the 2012. (AG)" (07/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Schrader "RBS - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96VN, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine seems slightly more expansive, shares the black ruby/purple color with all of it siblings, and has a boatload of crème de cassis, incense, licorice, graphite and vanilla along with plenty of spice box and forest floor. This is a killer, full-bodied, super-duper, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20 years. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Lewis Cellars "Alec's Blend" Napa Valley Red Blend (93WS, 90CG). Wine Spectator: "There’s lots to admire in this richly flavored effort, offering tiers of graphite, mocha, dark berry, toasty oak and savory notes. Maintains a bold profile on the long and persistent finish, and promises to develop in the future. Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot. Drink now through 2026. (JL)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 97JS, 97VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A close second (and who knows how they might perform at different times and with different foods) is the 2012 Cariad Proprietary Red Wine, made from grapes grown by David Abreu at his estate vineyards in Napa. This blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot shows notes of burning embers/charcoal, blackberry fruit, licorice and floral notes, followed by a full-bodied, dense, layered wine. It has great purity, wonderfully sweet, integrated tannin, and a voluptuous mouthfeel and finish of close to 50+ seconds. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $585.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Alban "Reva" Edna Valley Syrah (97RP, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 750 cases (which means good yields for John, although any normal person would call 1.5-1.75 tons per acre financial suicide) of the 2012 Syrah Reva Alban Estate Vineyard, and it's a terrific vintage for this cuvee. Elegant, pretty, even finesse driven, with its classic marine and salty bouquet of smoke, purple fruits, olives and violets, this full-bodied Syrah has no hard edges, integrated acidity and a great finish. After the cool, and then cold, 2010 and 2011 vintages, 2012 through 2014 is a return to the more generous, layered and voluptuous style of wine that this estate is known for. (JD)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $121.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (99RP, 96WE, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "While a lot of the 2012s came in near the bottom of the barrel score, that wasn't the case with the 2012 Syrah Bionic Frog and this beauty flirts with perfection. Inky colored and purple to the rim, it offers extraordinary notes of black fruits, wild mushrooms, smoked earth and salty minerality. (JD)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 92JS, 90WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Au Sommet Elev 2100 Ft. captures all the radiance of the vintage in its ample, explosive personality. Sweet red cherries, spices, new leather and mocha all flesh out as this juicy, silky Cabernet Sauvignon shows off its alluring personality. Heidi Barrett has largely tamed the Atlas Peak tannins and what comes through is a racy, voluptuous Cabernet that will be nearly impossible to resist in its youth. Today, it is particularly expressive. (AG)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $217.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 96JD, 95DC, 95RP, 95VN, 93WS). James Suckling: "Stones and walnuts with blackberries and blueberries. A full-bodied, super-refined and polished wine that culminates in a racy and refined finish. Extremely long and exciting. Great wine." (02/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Lewis Cellars "Mason's" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91CG, 91WS). Wine Spectator: "FA classy effort, combining toasty oak with an elegant mix of cedar, dark berry, plum and cherry flavors, gaining depth and holding focus on the long, lingering finish. Should improve with time. (JL)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Darioush "Signature" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE, 91CG, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Smoky leather and cigar make for a formidable entry on the nose before huge, layered tannins rise to the fore. A balance of acidity and brightness lurks beneath the weight, rounded by succulent blackberry and black cherry. *Top 100 wines of 2015, Cellar Selection* (VB)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Gandona Vineyards "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Living up to the potential predicted last year, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is fabulous. One hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in 80% new French oak, there are 500 cases of this terrific wine. With its inky purple color, a glorious nose of blackberry and blueberry liqueur, full-bodied mouthfeel, dense, pure notes interwoven with camphor, charcoal embers and spring flowers, this is stunning stuff and a great example of the Estate’s potential. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Calera "de Villiers Vineyard" Mt. Harlan Pinot Noir (95RP, 93WE, 92VN, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I loved the 2012 Pinot Noir de Villiers. It's a beautifully complete, balanced and satisfying Pinot Noir that does everything right. Giving up tons of sweet black raspberry and strawberry fruits, spice-box, dried flowers and potpourri characteristics, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and seamless, with a ripe, supple texture that keeps you coming back to the glass. While there's more than enough fruit to keep this enjoyable now, there's some solid tannin and depth in there as well, so it will age. (JD)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Paul Hobbs "Katherine Lindsay Estate" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96WE, 94RP, 94VN, 92ST, 92WS, 91CG). Wine Enthusiast: "Still tight, and expertly crafted and structured, this single-vineyard estate wine is meticulous in velvety, plush texture, completely seductive at every angle. Rich red cherry, pomegranate and vanilla improvise against one another without ever missing a beat, finishing in fully integrated flavor. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (11/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Buoncristiani Family Winery "O.P.C." Napa Valley Red Blend (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Proprietary Red Blend O.P.C. (Ol’ Pa’s Cuvée) is an intriguing blend of 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah, 22% Merlot and 16% Malbec. Obviously, Papa Buoncristiani had a very good palate. Dense ruby/purple-hued with more meat, underbrush and barbecue notes than its siblings, it is fleshy and succulent with sweet tannins and a full-bodied mouthfeel. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Darioush "Signature" Napa Valley Cabernet Franc (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a gorgeously luxurious wine, vibrant and alive in blackberry and raspberry, a savory lining of red currant providing its edge. The big tannin presence speaks to cellaring, through 2022, but a decant should help, too, allowing the herbal and fruit components to come into balance with its powerful density. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Signorello "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a blend of 93.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6.5% Cabernet Franc from the estate vineyards on the Silverado Trail, south of Stags Leap. Made in a good structural style with plenty of barrique in the background as well as lots of blackcurrant, licorice, new saddle leather and spice characteristics, this tastes like a Cabernet Sauvignon made by someone of Italian origin. I say that because of its tannic structure and spice. This serious, full-bodied, concentrated 2012 will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age, and should drink well for two decades. (RP) 91+" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Drouhin "Laurène" Dundee Hills Pinot Noir (OWC - 93DC, 93JG, 93VN, 92BH, 92RP, 92W&S, 92WS) in original wood. Vinous: "Bright ruby. Heady red and dark fruit liqueur, candied rose, allspice and woodsmoke scents show excellent clarity and a complicating hint of licorice. Palate-staining blackberry and spicecake flavors open nicely in the middle palate, picking up floral pastille and cola nuances and a hint of black tea. Rich and broad but energetic too, finishing with powerful spicy thrust and velvety tannins. (JR)" (07/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Futo Oakville Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 99RP, 96VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The original wine from the Oakville Estate Vineyard is a relatively small cuvée of 546 cases. The 2012 Proprietary Red Estate is a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. This is a drop-dead beautiful wine with an absolutely extraordinary nose of white flowers, blueberries, blackcurrants, licorice and camphor. Stunning forest floor notes also make an appearance in this ripe, full-bodied, opulent wine that is begging to be given a three-digit score. The silkiness of the tannins and the stunning purity of fruit of this unfined and unfiltered wine is simply breathtaking. This is just an incredible effort to drink now or over the next 30+ years. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $680.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Orin Swift "Mercury Head" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mercury Head, which comes from primarily St. Helena vineyards blended with fruit from the Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak, is a fabulous 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 16 months in 50% new French oak. A Mercury Head dime is actually embedded in the bottle’s glass and represents the front label. If that’s not original enough, the wine itself is fabulous. Its dense purple color is followed by notes of blackcurrants, black raspberries, acacia flowers, cedarwood and a touch of espresso. Swift is so quality conscience he declassified both the 2010 and 2011, so this is the first vintage he has produced since 2009. Full-bodied with sweet, well-integrated tannins, enough acidity for delineation and brightness, and a 45+-second finish, this stunning 2012 can be drunk now or aged for 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Pastorale Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93RP, 93WE, 92ST, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even deeper than the Freestone Vineyards Pinot is the 2012 Pinot Noir Pastorale Vineyard (under 14% alcohol). Its dense ruby hue is followed by a beautiful floral element. Readers will adore the black cherry, plym, clove-infused fruit and relatively full-bodied texture. This is the well-researched and well-funded Joseph Phelps project eight miles from the Pacific Ocean, on the western frontier of the Sonoma Coast. In pursuit of great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Phelps planted his vineyards in the Goldridge soils with a cool, windy climate. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Hall "Kathryn Hall" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall is largely sourced from their Sacrashe Vineyard. The color is dense ruby/purple. The wine is very young, and less evolved than many of its peers, but bursting with potential. Lots of blueberry and black raspberry fruit with a hint of mocha and background oak are all present in this full-bodied, opulent, absolutely spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a long-distance runner, although not so much because of the tannic structure, because the fruit seems younger and more primary than some of its siblings. Nevertheless, it is loaded with potential promise, and as Kathryn Hall says so frequently, 'Magic.' This full-bodied, classic Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa should hit its prime in 4-5 years and last at least two decades or more. (RP) 97+" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Abreu "Las Posadas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Las Posadas Proprietary Red is a massive fruit bomb from that high-elevation vineyard. Forest floor, floral notes, lead pencil shavings, licorice, fruitcake, cedar wood and oodles of black fruits soar from the glass and from the palate of this full-bodied, majestic, multi-layered wine. Like most 2012s, it is really strutting it’s stuff. It is still obviously young, but dramatic and flamboyant. This sensational wine should age effortlessly for 25-30+ years. Drink through 2045. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90DC). Decanter: "Though considered a rich, exceptional vintage from the beginning, many wines now taste soft and mushy. Not this one - it has verve and an almost volcanic character along with bright red fruit notes and a long finish. Duncan puts its precision down to their adoption of berry sensory analysis. Like other ripe vintages, the sweetness of the fruit is almost too much. (EM)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Rochioli "Three Corner" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir ((94-96RP), 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From a 3.5-acre parcel, the 2012 Pinot Noir Three Corners is staggering. A phenomenal bouquet of kirsch, black raspberries, black currants, graphite and lavender soars from the glass of this full-bodied, opulent, stunningly rich Pinot. Most knowledgeable people in the wine world have enormous respect for the integrity, honesty and exceptionally high quality of the wines emanating from the Rochioli Vineyards in the Russian River area. (RP)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Robert Mondavi "To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon". This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed To Kalon Vineyard. Vineyard notes from the winery: "When Robert Mondavi chose the To Kalon Vineyard as the home for his new winery in 1966 he remarked that 'It was a vineyard with a distinguished history and a magical nature. Ideal soils, sunlight, and rain—to my eye, the vineyard was a treasure.' Those sentiments were re-confirmed when the To Kalon Vineyard was named ‘Vineyard of the Year’ by the California State Farm Bureau, and the site continues to hold a special grand cru status in the Napa Valley. The To Kalon Vineyard lies in west Oakville where the low fertility, well-drained soils combine with optimal sun exposure to yield rich, complex flavors and impeccable fruit maturity."
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 95JS, 95RP, (92-95ST)). Vinous: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard has really blossomed over the last year. A glorious, towering Cabernet Sauvignon offers super depth an intensity, with the voluptuous personality of the vintage on full display. Sweet red cherry, pomegranate, mocha and espresso all flesh out in the glass. The Backus is not as open nor expressive as the Insignia is today, but it is tremendous in its beauty and overall pedigree. This is a terrific example of contemporary Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This is the last vintage made from the vineyards that were planted in 1975. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $625.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97DC, 97RP, 96VN, 95JS, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Of the three Beckstoffer Vineyards, it’s pretty much a joyride as to which one readers may prefer. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard (readers may remember the 2002 merited a 100-point score) has a beautiful blueberry and blackberry fruit note, a hint of incense, charcoal, an opaque purple color, full-bodied opulence and again that first-growth quality, richness, complexity and intensity. I’m not sure this is as compelling as the 2002, but it’s not far away. This is a magnificent, multi-dimensional, skyscraper-like Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 15-20 years. From one of Northern California’s most accomplished and respected wine consultants and producers, the 2012s and 2013s will create high expectations, and readers are unlikely to be disappointed by Paul Hobbs and his team. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 94JS, 93VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Of the three Beckstoffer Vineyards, it’s pretty much a joyride as to which one readers may prefer. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane moves more toward the wet rock, blueberry, raspberry fruit spectrum, but still stays dark and foreboding, very concentrated and full-bodied. The great terroir comes through and the wine is distinctive, singular, opulent and rich. Another fabulous success from Paul Hobbs and one more showcase wine for this great vineyard. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Sullivan "Premier Napa Valley" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded by Jim and Joanna Sullivan in 1978, the Sullivan estate is in the heart of Rutherford. This bottling is a special cuvée created for the Premier Napa Valley auction.
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Turley "Estate" Napa Valley Zinfandel ((91-93RP), 93VN). Vinous: "Savory overtones meld into dark red stone fruits, tobacco, menthol, pine and licorice in the 2012 Zinfandel Turley Estate. This is one of the more feminine, gracious wines in the range. The fruit is pliant and supple throughout, which gives the 2012 much of its near-term appeal. Savory herb and floral notes are laced into the finish. (AG)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95DC, 93WE, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask 23 reveals more oak on the nose, but is a much deeper, richer, fuller wine than the S.L.V. Dense ruby/purple to the rim, beautiful blackberry and cassis fruit, cedar wood, toast and earth jump from the glass. Full-bodied and layered, but with nothing out of balance, this is probably the strongest Cask 23 since the glory years of the mid-80s. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 1, 580 cases of the 2012 James Berry Vineyard and it reminds me of the 2009 Janasse Chaupin (which is one of Justin’s favorite wines). Incorporating more Mourvèdre than normal, it’s made from 43% Grenache, 29% Mourvèdre, 18% Syrah and 10% Counoise that’s aged in a combination of concrete and barrel. Rock star stuff, with fabulous black raspberry, cassis, spring flowers and charred meat aromas and flavors, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness and depth, yet stays lively, incredibly pure and elegant, with lots of fine tannin emerging on the finish. (JD) 97+" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (97RP, 96JS, 94VN, 94WS, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is the first year that this wine was made from 100% estate-grown fruit from Continuum’s Sage Mountain vineyard. A blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot and 2% Merlot, the 2012 Proprietary Red has a deep garnet-purple color and gorgeous crème de cassis, exotic spices, fragrant earth and Christmas pudding notions with touches of chocolate box and licorice. The palate is full-bodied and deliciously concentrated, with a firm, grainy-textured backbone supporting the impressive mid-palate density, finishing very long and harmonious. (LPB)" (02/2019)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Lewis Cellars "Ethan's" Napa Valley Syrah (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Tightly focused on a core of tart, earthy dark berry, cedar, chicory and dill flavors, staying trim and tannic throughout. Needs air or cellar time. (JL)" (02/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 V12 "Premier Napa Valley - Twelve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded by the Vasser family (Jimmy Vasser, Jr. a former IndyCar champ) the estate is located on property previously dedicated to the Mondavi family's chicken farm. Bid on this bottle of 2012 Sine Qua Non "Rattrapante - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (100RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine any way you look at it, the 2012 Grenache Rattrapante comes all from the Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills and spent 33 months in 27% new French oak. My notes start - and end - with “Wow.” Giving up tons of black raspberries, peppery herbs, licorice, dried flowers and cured meats, it’s a massively concentrated, rich and layered Grenache that somehow manages to stay graceful, lively and fresh on the palate. There are roughly 800 cases of this elixir and any Grenache lover should do their best to latch onto a bottle (or two). It’s also worth noting that this cuvee saw 26% whole clusters, which is a small change from past vintages. (JD)" (08/2016)

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 6" Central Coast Red Blend (1.5L) (99RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine that flirts with perfection, the 2012 Cumulus Vineyard #6 is an interesting blend of 38% Syrah, 37% Grenache, 17.4% Petite Sirah and the rest Mourvedre that saw 33 months in 54% new French oak. There’s a tiny 191 cases made, and it’s one of the most singular, exotic wines I’ve tasted. Spice, cedar, chocolate, exotic flowers and an assortment of dark fruits all emerge from this full-bodied, layered blend that hits the palate with serious richness and depth. Yet, like all truly great wines, it’s light, ethereal and never, ever heavy. (JD)" (08/2016)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Melville "Sandy's" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (96RP, 94VN, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The most fruit-forward in the lineup, the 2012 Pinot Noir Sandy’s was mostly destemmed (60%) and saw only neutral oak barrels for 18 months. Cassis, black raspberry, sweet spice, violets and hints of rose petal all show here, and it hits the palate with fabulous purity of fruit, loads of texture and a terrific finish. It’s another rock-star Pinot Noir from Greg that checks in near the top of the vintage. (JD)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP).

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 94VN, 92JS, 90WS) in original wood.
