Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97RP, 97WS, 95VN). James Suckling: "A very opulent, yet fresh nose. Perfumed with fresh mushrooms, currants, and blackberries. Full bodied with an amazing density of fruit, and ripe velvety tannins. So big and compacted, with a superb structure. Very 2006 in style but with much more intensity. The fruit amazing and intense. " (04/2011)
Starting Bid: $575.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Galitzine Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon contains 1% Petit Verdot. It offers up a splendid bouquet of toasty new oak, earth notes, espresso, incense, blackberry, and plum. A bit more structured than the Palengat cuvee, it is slightly denser, layered, and intense. (JM)" (08/2010)
Starting Bid: $85.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 94VN, 94WE, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the amazing Beckstoffer To-Kalon Vineyard, Hobbs’ 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is a slightly more opulent, broader, savory effort that comes close to the perfect 2002. The 2007 has more noticeable tannin than the 2002 did at the same stage as well as more obvious minerality, but notes of graphite, black currant liqueur, licorice, cedar, and spice box are found in this full-bodied, multidimensional, fabulously concentrated wine. It was aged in 100% new Taransaud French oak barrels. Give it 5-6 years of cellaring, and drink it over the following three decades. (RP) 98+" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $605.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Hidden Ridge "55% Slope" Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE, 92ST). Wine Enthusiast: "The vineyard is severely vintage-dependent, with some years much better than others, but the superbly generous 2007 harvest has resulted in this delicious mountain wine. It’s perfectly ripe, offering an array of blackberries, cherries and currants wrapped into beautifully mature tannins and grounded with a firm minerality. Defines the elegant concentration of a high Mayacamas Mountain Cabernet. *Editors' Choice*" (03/2012)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2007 Beringer "Chabot Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JS, 92ST) and 1-bottle of 2007 Beringer "Lampyridae Vineyard" Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (91ST). Of the 2007 Beringer "Chabot Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, James Suckling writes: "Loads of raisins, with milk chocolate and berries on the nose. Full bodied, with loads of new wood and a fruity, slightly tannic finish. A little disjointed now but should come together. " (04/2011)
Starting Bid: $88.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Chappellet "Pritchard Hill Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97CG, 96RP, 96WE, 96WS, 95JS, 95VN). Connoisseurs Guide: "Leaping out of the glass with its intensely fruity, keenly focused, layered aromas of black currants, hints of blackberries and crème caramel all tightly wrapped up in youthful vivacity that screams 'aging potential, ' this deep and dramatic effort delivers an equally full measure of generous yet barely evolved flavor on the palate. Its full and supple yet somewhat fleshy palatefeel is may invite early drinking, but its underlying structure insures that it will improve for years to come." (08/2010)
