Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine Arnoux Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Suchots" (95RP, (91-94BH), 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Lachaux's 2006 Vosne Romanee Les Suchots displays more gamey, animal notes in the nose than any of his other wines of the vintage, here accompanied by high-toned suggestions of mint; black fruit and decadently floral distillates; and a pungently spicy amalgam of clove, cinnamon, and black pepper. A seamlessly rich, silken-textured palate brims with blackberry and plum preserves as well as dark chocolate which – accompanied by the myriad aforementioned animal, floral, and spice notes – inform a stain-like, incandescent finish. This should be extraordinary for the next 15-20 years, though it would be hard to resist taking a dip early on into its irresistible and intriguing depths. (DS)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $182.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Bernard Dugat-Py Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Les Champeaux" (93BH, 93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Dugat-Py 2006 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Champeaux displays more finesse and refinement of texture as well as a similar, seemingly gravity-defying combination of density with lift and buoyancy to the corresponding Petite Chapelle, although there is less sheer flavor concentration and drama on display. Black tea and blackberry are decadently laced with peony floral notes in the nose, and the tea and berries are underlain by peat, wet stone, and iron filings. It lingers palate-saturatingly, stimulatingly, and a bit mysteriously. Expect more excitement over the next several years and an at least dozen year potential. (DS)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $152.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine Sylvain Cathiard Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Aux Malconsorts" (93BH, 93RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts from Sylvain Cathiard really blossomed in the glass, unfurling to reveal notes of plums, dark chocolate, rich soil, burning embers and some savory and hard-to-define bass notes, its new oak nicely digested at age 12. On the palate, the wine starts out a little foursquare but opens up to become quite expansive, more taut and controlled than the 2005 En Orveaux tasted the following day, with fine-grained but not yet melted tannins, a deep core of fruit and a long finish. An excellent Malconsorts with a full decade ahead of it. (WK)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $520.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine Hubert Lignier Clos de la Roche Grand Cru (93JG, (92-93RP), 93ST, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An intense aromatic melange of smoked meat, brown spices, herbal and framboise distillate, and ripe berries rises from the glass of Lignier 2006 Clos De La Roche. Polished and refined in tannin, this Pinot's expansively fresh-fruited palate preserves clarity to smoky, spicy, as well as saline mineral and savory meat stock shadings, and it finishes with snap and penetration as well as meat broth-like underlying richness. Here is one of those 2006s that obviously has extract and energy to spare, yet comes off as elegant and buoyant. I would plan on giving it several years' rest in bottle and following it for at least a decade thereafter. This was in a slightly reduced and certainly more backward state than the other Lignier 2006s when I last tasted it, and might well have blossomed further short-term. (DS) 92-93+" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine Louis Latour Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru ((90-91RP), 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Latour’s 2006 Criot-Batard-Montrachet (from contract grapes) displays a Chenin-like emphasis on quince, along with gardenia and brown spices. A flattering creaminess and subtle oiliness of texture characterize this wine’s sultry, plush palate, and its sense of enveloping richness extends to a long, soothing finish. (DS)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Domaine des Lambrays Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru (1.5L) (94JG, 93WS, 92BH, 92ST, 91RP). John Gilman: "The 2006 Clos des Lambrays had also not yet been racked, and it too was showing beautiful potential in November. The nose is deep and very much defined by its soil element, as it offers up notes of dark berries, plums, bitter chocolate, herb tones, very complex soil tones, game and cedar. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and rock solid at the core, with ripe, well-integrated tannins, excellent focus, sound acids and a very long, black fruity and soil-driven finish. This will be a very, very fine example of the vintage, and should age gracefully for many decades. Fine juice." (11/2007)
