Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine Anne Gros Chambolle-Musigny "Combe d'Orveau" (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Gros 2006 Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d’Orveau – from high above the Clos Vougeot, but in a fog-trapping and therefore rot-prone dimple that in this instance necessitated relatively early harvest – displays brightness and purity of red fruits typical for this bottling, as well as chalky and saline mineral notes. The texture is silken and the wine's modest endowment of tannins well woven-in. (DS)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $226.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine Ghislaine Barthod Chambolle-Musigny (90JG). John Gilman: "Chambolle-Musigny seems to be a village that is well blessed with fine villages level holdings, as four of my absolute favorite village wines hail from Chambolle: Domaines Mugnier, Dujac, Roumier and Barthod. The 2006 Chambolle AC from Ghislaine Barthod is a lovely wine in the making, that jumps from the glass in a blaze of raspberries, red cherries, violets, complex minerality and a touch of cocoa powder. On the palate the wine is medium-full, tangy and again, very transparent down to its underlying soil, with lovely shape and bounce, a juicy core of fruit, and fine length and grip on the tangy finish that closes with a distinct taste of violets. A really beautiful village wine. " (11/2007)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Bouchard Père & Fils Clos Vougeot Grand Cru (95WE, 94BH, 94W&S, 93ST, 93WS, 91RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Not all Clos Vougeot lives up to its billing, but this wine certainly does. With its superbly ripe fruit, a harmonious balance between fruit, tannins and acidity, and a full, generous texture, this is a wine to savor. It is a big wine in all senses, except that it has a great sense of proportion. (RV)" (12/2008)

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine Jacques Prieur Musigny Grand Cru ((92-94BH), 93ST, 91RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "*** Don't Miss! *** An elegant yet reserved and admirably layered nose features red and blue pinot fruit, rose and violet notes plus subtle spice aromas that are in perfect keeping with the round, intense, precise and pure medium full flavors that possess excellent mid-palate concentration and a discreetly mineral-infused finish that both coats the mouth and lingers beautifully. There is enough sap here that the mouth feel is actually rounder at present than the wine will be once the baby fat melts away. In a word, gorgeous." (04/2008)
