Bid on this bottle of 1971 Dom Pérignon "P3" Brut Champagne (96VN). Vinous: "Like the 1969 P3 in this tasting, the 1971 Dom Pérignon P3 is dense, powerful and quite vinous in style. A huge, explosive Champagne with fruit that nearly covers the mousse, the 1971 has enough depth to drink well for another decade, maybe more. (AG)" (11/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 1971 Charles Krug "Vintage Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. John Gilman: "1971 was still during the era of the Mondavi family’s Charles Krug winery’s glory days, and though Robert Mondavi was already well established at his eponymous winery in Oakville, brother Peter Mondavi continued to still make very strong cabernets over at Krug. The 1971 Vintage Selection offers up a truly lovely bouquet of dried cherries, cigar box, dried mint, a touch of petroleum jelly, a fine base of soil (including an intriguing note of sous bois) and a nice topnote of chipotle pepper. On the palate the wine is fullish, long and very silky on the attack, with a good core of fruit, impressive complexity and a very long, classy and fully resolved finish. … Classy juice. " (05/2011)
