A rare non-sparkling wine from BXT! The chance to work with some legendary fruit from Shake Ridge Ranch was too much to pass up for Tom. His deep connection with Ann Kramer who owns / farms this incredible site in Amador county has created something truly special in many ways. Not only is this wine absolutely stunning, it also supports a noble cause with profits being donated to Abode in Napa, CA - A project that provides emergency shelter and housing assistance to those in crisis. Winemaker's Notes: "We don’t always make wines without bubbles, but when ...

From a beautiful vineyard in Shenandoah Valley. Not a big, chewy, jammy, heavy Zinfandel - more one of bright brambly fruit, lifted spice, and juicy red fruits. Maybe try with a subtle chill for maximum enjoyment!

Fluerette Gin is a beautiful take on floral gins from New Alchemy Distilling in El Dorado Hills, CA. It's floral and citrus driven. Eleven distinct flowers and botanicals are blended with the most subtle and fragrant juniper berries. Fleurette is distinctly aromatic and the aromas bring out a slight sense of sweetness in the dry gin. It's a beautiful sipping gin, but really shines in classic pre-prohibition cocktails.

91 points Decanter: "Great herbal aromatics leap forward from this high mountain Cabernet sourced from four different sites in the Sierra Foothills—crushed stone minerality, green peppercorns, bay leaf frame cassis and blackberries with mint. The palate is well-structured and bright. Red and early season berry fruits are marked with fleshy bing cherry and candid raspberry notes. An excellent savoury kick of garrigue and a touch of dusty eucalyptus helps this wine towards the finish." 91 points Wine & Spirits: "This leads with scents of cardamom and cher...

91 points Wine Enthusiast: " Smooth and creamy yet firm enough for good grip, this is a big but well-balanced wine that offers plenty of ripe berries and plums along with hints of black pepper and sage. Moderate tannins seem to build on the palate and add a good bite to the finish. (JG)" (12/2018) 90 points Wine Spectator: "Vibrant and sleekly focused, with a lively core of acidity and tannins, layered with raspberry, stony mineral and white pepper flavors. 100 points Wine Enthusiast: "This is a grand, ageworthy wine from consistently stellar Winemaker Bill Easton. It delivers flavors of smoked plum, dry-aged beef and blueberry-blackberry compote wrapped in a velvety structure of superfine tannins and a full feel, while lighter, intricate spice elements weave through from the first whiff to the lingering finish. Best from 2026–2036. *Cellar Selection* (JG)" (04/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Buccella "Mixed Blacks" Amador County Rhone Blend. Bill and Alicia Deem founded Buccella in 2002 and their "Mixed Blacks" blend is a departure from the Napa Valley Cab focus of the winery to express their love of Rhone Valley blends. The 2015 bottling is composed of 50% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 14% Petite Sirah, and just of splash of Mourvedre and Viognier. According to the winery, "We wanted to experiment with some completely different varietals by putting our California twist on the beautiful interplay between the bright fruit and mineral characteristics of these blends while still maintaining the rich, fruit focused, layered lusciousness we enjoy. We are fortunate to be working with fruit from the exceptional Shake Ridge Vineyard in Amador County. It is a fantastically well-managed site with a diverse soil composition, producing a wine with an incredible flavor profile and depth."
