Bid on this bottle of 2001 d'Yquem, Sauternes (100JS, 100RP, 100WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 10, 000 cases of this perfect sweet white Bordeaux. The 2001 Yquem reveals a hint of green in its light gold color. While somewhat reticent aromatically, with airing, it offers up honeyed tropical fruit, orange marmalade, pineapple, sweet creme brulee, and buttered nut-like scents. In the mouth, it is full-bodied with gorgeously refreshing acidity as well as massive concentration and unctuosity. Everything is uplifted and given laser-like focus by refreshing acidity. This large-scaled, youthful Yquem appears set to take its place among the most legendary vintages of the past, and will age effortlessly for 75+ years. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2100+. (RP)" (04/2005)
Starting Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1989 Suduiraut, Sauternes (90VN). Vinous: "The bouquet is quite vivacious with quince and frangipane, hints of pear and crème brûlée, certainly responding to aeration. The palate has similar weight and texture to the 1990 although, there is slightly more tension here with orange rind and marmalade imparting Barsac-like notes towards the finish. (NM)" (03/2019)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 1947 d'Yquem, Sauternes (97RP, 97WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted almost exactly a year after my previous encounter, this 1947 Château d'Yquem replicated the performance back then. It revealed that burnished amber color, then the glorious, intense and rich bouquet with dried honey, quince and mandarin, that hint of red fruit in the background tracing the birth year back to this hot postwar summer. The palate unctuous, almost heavy in the mouth, the acidity retaining sufficient freshness and poise with a powerful, quite spicy finish that feels extraordinarily long in the mouth. To repeat my earlier sentiment, whilst the 1947 is not up there with the greatest Yquem such as the 1929, 1945 or 2001, it occupies the tier below...and that's good enough for me. Tasted October 2016. (NM)" (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $1,400.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1988 Rieussec, Sauternes (95RP, 90ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted in Sauternes with Charles Chevalier, the 1988 Rieussec is a vintage that Chevalier himself claimed to be his favorite. I can understand why. It has an unerringly youthful bouquet with vibrant citrus fruit, wild honey, mandarin and mineral scents, a bouquet that seems to have electricity flowing through it. The same can be said for the palate that is full of tension and vigor, almost clinical in terms of focus with alluring viscosity and wonderful length. This bowled me over with its charm and breeding. Hunt a bottle down and share with your best friends—this is a superlative Rieussec, one of the best produced. (NM)" (01/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Rieussec, Sauternes (100JS, 100WS, 95VN). James Suckling: "This is a crazy wine! It’s sweet, but not sugary. Mushrooms, furniture wax, spices then dried oranges, lemons, pineapples, and just a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied, with great density and power, yet balanced and refined. So amazing, but give this five to six years still. Pull the cork in 2016. 145 grams RS." (05/2012)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this bottle of 1990 d'Yquem, Sauternes (98DC, 98RP, 95WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep golden colored, the 1990 d'Yquem opens with unabashed opulence, giving expressive notes of dried apricots, toffee, candied walnut, tree bark and sandalwood with nuances of preserved mandarin peel, lemongrass and fallen leaves. The palate is entering that stage where it still has bags of fruit and yet appears quite dry, with a lively line contributing jaw-dropping tension and finishing with epically long-lingering honey nut and earth-inspired notes. Pure. Hedonism. (LPB)" (08/2019)
