What is Clarete? Why is this classified as a Rose? Clarete is a tradition style of wine making in Spain. It is a co fermentaion of red and white varietals. The wine is this case, it is 50% Garnacha & Garnacha Blanca, and after fermentation the wine then spends 12 days with skin contact. It next spends six months aging in Amphora. It is then bottled with minimal SO2. The grapes are farmed orgnically ans sustainable just outside of the only desert in Europe, Bardenas Reales, a Unesco Biosphere reserve. This is a "wild/salvaje" very dark Rose.
