The "Zuani" blends Friulano, the Colliio's indigenous varietal, with Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio from marl and sandstone soils. Fermented in new French oak barrels with daily (then weekly) battonage. This interestingly named wine is made with a blend of native Tocai Friulano grapes, and international varietals that thrive in Friuli, especially in Collio, with its outstanding combination of geology, type of soil types and climate.
