This long-aged, pure Meunier hails from the cold climate of Pierry, and has had at least five years on the lees. It is sleek, savory, and framed with a sourdough toast aroma of the best of non-vintage Champagne. The wine is entirely fermented in stainless steel, and then riddled in manual giropallettes, the first I have ever seen in the region. This outstanding brut zero is also a blanc de noir, composed of 70% Meunier and 30% Pinot Noir. This is totally dry, but not austere and shows off some of the pear and exoctic fruit of Meunier. A fabulous wine for a fish course, or even for sushi! -Gary Westby, K&L Champagne Buyer

This champange is a blend of 58% Chardonnay, 28% Meunier and 14% Pinot Noir from Chouilly, Vitry, Leuvrigny and Les Riceys. It is a combination of fruit from their very large 37 hectare estate and purchased fruit.
