Cantine Gran Furor Divina Costiera di Marisa Cuomo is located in Furore on the famed Amalfi Coast. These coastal vineyards are perfectly arranged on the stone-walled terraces along the cliffs at altitudes between 980 to 1300 feet above sea level. The grapes benefit from sunny southern exposure and a unique micro-climate that occurs from a combination of ocean currents, mountains and high-pressure systems. The volcanic and alluvial soils of the vineyards produce relatively low yields, and the grapes are indeed flavorful.

Cantine Marisa Cuomo is a small winery located in Furore on the Amalfi Coast, where the vines grow on terraced slopes, which are also teeming with lemon and fig trees, and peregrine falcons still nest there. The Ravello is a blend of 60% Falanghina and 40% Biancolella. Winery tasting notes: "Pale straw yellow colour with greenish hues and a characteristic fruity aroma mixed with floral notes. Balanced flavour sustained by a slightly acidic note which enhances aromatic freshness."

This sparkling dry red wine is made from three grapes—Aglianico, Piedirosso, and Sciascinoso—that produce a stunningly good wine when served cold. Among the locals, it is known as pizzacola, because it is the perfect pizza accompaniment!

95 points Wine Spectator: "A deep, plush, full-bodied red, with dense tannins that are well-meshed to flavors of black cherry pâte de fruit, olive paste, cured tobacco, spice box, iron and graphite. Big and brooding, this nonetheless maintains a sense of elegance throughout. (AN)" (11/2019) 94 points James Suckling: "A very meaty, spicy Taurasi with cedary and tarry accents, highlighting more fruit-driven elements of blackberries and dark cherries. It’s really deep and dense, but remarkably polished and agile for a wine of 15% alcohol and nearly 7 year...

90 points Vinous: "Golden-tinged yellow. Very tropical (too tropical?) aromas are complicated by nuances of resin. Then fresh and vibrant in the mouth, not to mention very saline, offering flavors similar to the aromas. Closes long and ripe. Not especially graceful for a Biancolella wine. (AG)" (11/2019)

93 points Decanter: "In 2018, the opulent style of Fiorduva Furore is, if possible, riper than usual. Late harvested, the grapes Ripoli (40%), Ginestra (30%) and Fenile (30%) are very rich, showing the minerality of this coastal range’s dolomitic soils. Gold in the glass, it has a kind of bittersweet character, with dried apricot and candy floss. Lemony and zesty in the mouth, with a tight palate and almost aggressive acidity that’s integrated with the fruit. The amazing length is shared by toasty oak and the iodine character of the grapes. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Terredora di Paolo Campore Taurasi Riserva (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Taurasi Campore is rich, deep and sensual. The firm Aglianico tannins are virtually tamed in this large-scaled Taurasi. This is the most textured and full-bodied of the estate’s Taurasis, but all the elements meld together with notable harmony and distinction. Sweet rose petals, licorice and herbs add complexity on the vivid, totally striking finish. (AG)" (02/2013)
Starting Bid: $251.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Terredora Dipaolo "Fatica Contadina" Taurasi (92JS, 92WS). James Suckling: "This plush Taurasi still has a lot of life left as it leads with notes of dried elderberries, dried meat, steak tartare, cigar box and dried cedar. Full-bodied, tannic and earthy, it is an uncompromising style of red with enormous concentration, but some verve on the long, chewy finish." (08/2019)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Galardi "Terra di Lavoro" Roccamonfina (98JS, 97VN, 95RP, 93WS). James Suckling: "A unique wine with iodine, red seaweed, mineral and dried fruits with hints of figs. Baslamic. You can feel the warmth of the volcanic soil. Full body with soft and silky tannins. Stylish and characterful. You need to try this." (01/2014)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Feudi di San Gregorio "Serpico" Irpinia (92RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Slightly hotter in terms of alcohol, the 2011 Irpinia Aglianico Serpico is a powerful and lasting expression of Aglianico from a warm vintage. Big fruit intensity is followed by cinnamon, nutmeg, crushed clove and cured meat. Similar intensity is shown in the mouth where the wine is opulently shaped and generous in terms of extraction and persistency. It closes with ripe fruit flavors and soft tannins. (ML)" (04/2015)
