Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Robert Chevillon Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru "Les St. Georges" (96JG, (92-95BH), (91-94ST), 92VN). John Gilman: "The 2011 Chevillon Les St. Georges is a brilliant wine in the making. The deep and stunning nose wafts from the glass in a blend of red and black cherries, pomegranate, stunningly complex soil tones, a touch of nutskin, gamebirds, pungent violets and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and nascently complex, with a very sappy and deep mid-palate, ripe, seamless tannins, laser-like focus and magical length and grip on the very soil-driven, refined and intense finish. A brilliant wine in the making! " (11/2012)
Starting Bid: $321.00
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Hudelot-Baillet Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Cras" ((89-92BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "An exceptionally fresh and pretty nose of dark berry fruit scents, spice and stone nuances introduces intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that possess moderately firm tannins on the complex and linear finish than is less austere than is typical for the appellation in its youth." (01/2013)
Starting Bid: $150.00
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Champans" (93DC, 92VN, 91BH, 91RP, 90ST). Decanter: "Pretty, enticing and poised on the nose, with violet and a touch of liquorice. A lovely purity of fruit in the mouth – ripe but not heavy. (EL)"
