Bid on this magnum of 2007 Domaine de Saint Siffrein Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (94JD, 94RP, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The finest effort I have yet tasted from this estate, the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape is composed of 65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre, and 5% Cinsault. Its traditional upbringing included 100% aging in old foudres. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by a big, sweet, juicy kiss of kirsch liqueur intermixed with blacker fruits, raspberries, licorice, camphor, and hints of lavender and incense. The wine exhibits terrific concentration, full-bodied intensity, and a 45-50-second finish. This sensational Chateauneuf du Pape will benefit from another 2-3 years of bottle age, and should drink well for 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2009)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Nicolas Potel Beaune 1er Cru "Clos des Vignes Franches" ((89-92BH), 91ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This too is discreetly wooded, framing an expressive and airy nose that is reserved to the point of coolness, displaying an earthy mix of red and black fruit aromas and hints of spice and leather that can also be found on the rich, full and decidedly more powerful flavors that are wrapped around a firm core of dusty but ripe tannins and excellent length. This is a serious Beaune and recommended. *Outstanding*" (01/2007)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2007 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros" ((92-95BH), 94JG, 94RP, 94WE, 92ST) and 1-bottle of 2008 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru "Mont de Milieu" (90VN). Of the 2007 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros", Allen Meadows - Burghound writes: "Here too there is a very subtle influence of wood that frames ripe yet elegant and impressively pure aromas of citrus, spice hints, tidal pool and oyster shell notes, all of which are picked up by the highly complex and deep big-bodied flavors that are incredibly intense and quite unusually for Bougros, possess 'hot knife through butter' cut and delineation. An atypically elegant effort for the appellation. *Don't Miss!*" (10/2008)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru "Célébration - 153rd Anniversary Cuvee" (92BH, 92VN). Vinous: "Jadot’s 2012 Beaune 1er Cru Celebration is aromatically quite expressive, with lovely bright, floral notes that play off a core of red berry and stone fruits. The gracious, almost feminine, bouquet is alluring and suggests a wine that is quite open, but the palate sensation is completely different. Tiny yields and high skin to juice ratios yielded red Burgundies with huge tannic clout that obscures the fruit, which is exactly how the wine comes across in tasting. It will be interesting to see if the 2012 softens over time, or if it gains volume with aging. Today, it is decidedly on the austere side of things. (AG)" (03/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Vincent & Sophie Morey Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Truffière" (91BH, (89-91ST)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Outstanding! A notably ripe nose features essence of pear and white peach along with hints of acacia blossom and oak toast. The mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors is thick to the point of lush opulence thanks to the abundant dry extract that coats the palate on the balanced and lingering finish. This is impressive because despite how rich this is, there is absolutely no sense of undue heaviness, in part because the minerality adds lift. Worth considering" (06/2014)
