2011 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon, RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2011 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon, RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93AG, 91RP, 91WS). Antonio Galloni: "Schrader's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is pure silk on the palate. The aromas, flavors and textures are incredibly refined and lifted. A soft, seamless wine that stands out for its gorgeous balance, the 2011 is showing beautifully today. Freshly cut flowers, mint and red berries all flow through to the impeccably refined finish. It is fascinating to taste the RBS next to Las Piedras. Both wines are Clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon, but here we are in To Kalon, where the flavors seem to have a little more definition." (11/2013)

2006 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95CG, 94RP, 94WE, 94WS, 92JS). Connoisseurs Guide: "*Three stars* Already amazingly seductive with wonderfully rich aromas of sweet oak, cocoa and fully expressed fruit making a first-rate introduction, this riveting young wine in no way lets up on the palate and delivers deep, multi-faceted flavors that combine ripeness, sweet oak and very precise fruit in near-perfect proportion. As is often the case with Insignia bottlings, it is so beautifully balanced that it invites early drinking, and, while we do not condemn giving in to its charms, we also would lobby strongly for patience as its best years lie down the line."

2010 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this bottle of 2010 Cayuse "Armada Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97RP, 97WE, 95ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Christophe’s Armada Vineyard Syrah has slowly become one of my favorite releases and the 2010 Syrah Armada Vineyard does nothing to dampen my growing enthusiasm for the vineyard. From a high-density planting in 2001 that lies just behind the winemaking facility (or 'studio' if you’re talking with Christophe), it offers up a brilliant bouquet of sweet kirsch and plum liqueur intermixed with notions of bacon fat, wild herbs, ground pepper and liquid rock. Evolving beautifully with air and incredibly complex aromatically, it is full-bodied, voluptuously textured and delivers serious levels of fruit and richness without ever seeming the least bit heavy or cumbersome."

2004 Alban Edna Valley Grenache
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Alban Edna Valley Grenache (99RP, 94WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "We should all be happy about this as the 2004 Grenache is easily one of the top examples of the variety I’ve tasted from California. Flirting with perfection and reminding me of Clos Saint Jean’s Deus Ex Machina from Chateauneuf du Pape (despite being 100% Grenache and having no Mourvedre in the blend), it will easily stand toe to toe with the greatest southern Rhones out there. Sporting a semi-opaque, youthful ruby color, it offers spectacular aromas and flavors of smoked black cherries, melted licorice, graphite, smoked meats and roasted herbs that continue to evolve and gain in richness and depth with time in the glass. Full-bodied and decadent, yet far from a heavyweight, it is graceful and lively on the palate with no hard edges, perfect balance and a seamless, elegant profile that shows only hints of maturity. When all is said and done, this incredible wine will have 20-25 ye

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Kosta Browne "Giusti Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (94RP, 92AG, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I believe a new vineyard, the 2012 Pinot Noir Giusti Vineyard, shares some similarities to the the Koplen Vineyard, with its intense, focused style. Showing plenty of plum, licorice, toasted spices (cinnamon) and hints of vanilla bean, this beauty flows onto the palate with no hard edges, beautiful mid-palate density and a focused, lengthy feel on the finish. Nothing is out of place here, and it's a rock-star bottle of wine that can be consumed anytime over the coming 4-6 years. (JD)" (10/2014)

2006 Sine Qua Non "The Hoodoo Man" White Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2006 Sine Qua Non "The Hoodoo Man" White Blend (95RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I opted to just list my scores for the older releases as I find Bob's initial write-ups spot on. (JD) [This exceptional effort is a model example of what can be done with white varietals in California’s Central Coast. An exceptional bouquet of lemon blossom, nectarine, orange marmalade-infused honey, quince, and citrus are stunningly aromatic and provide profound richness, yet the freshness, precision, and overall lift are remarkable for a wine of this power and intensity. It offers a prodigious glass of dry white wine that should drink handsomely for a decade. In short, I call it 'How do he do it man.' (RP, 6/2008)]" (08/2013)

2004 Nicholas Cole Camille Bordeaux Blend Reserve
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Nicholas Cole Camille Bordeaux Blend Reserve (92RP, 92WE, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Camille is a blend of 64% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Franc, and 13% Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose offers up toasty oak, some pleasant herbaceousness from the Cabernet Franc, as well as red and black currants and a hint of leather. On the palate there is excellent depth and concentration, broad spicy flavors, and a long, pure finish. The ripe tannins are nicely integrated and should allow for 5-7 years of further development. This classy effort should drink well through 2040. The good news is that the best is yet to come at Nicholas Cole. I tasted from barrel three 2005 Bordeaux-style blends, one of which is from 100% estate fruit, which were all exhibiting outstanding potential, and a scintillating 2005 estate Syrah which should ultimately be in the (94-96 point) range. It is so deliciously fresh and floating, with great black currant and blueberry fruits, pointed up by spice, mint and a sense of elegance and poise. There’s no doubt about its aging potential either: just feel that heart of firm tannins." (06/2007)

1981 La Mission Haut-Brion, Graves
Bid on this bottle of 1981 La Mission Haut-Brion, Graves (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1981 exhibits a more youthful purple hue to its dark plum color than any vintage back to 1970. Somewhat narrowly constructed for a La Mission-Haut-Brion, it reveals plenty of incense, blueberry, black currant and crushed rock notes intertwined with a restrained, smoky character. The wine is medium-bodied, fresh and crisp with good concentration as well as a surprising youthfulness. However, the vintage’s deficiencies – a lack of heat and maturity – show up in the wine’s modest power and concentration. The 1981 does not possess the great richness, depth and intensity of the finest vintages, but it is still an outstanding effort that has aged extremely well. It could hold up for another two decades, but there is no point in deferring gratification. (RP)" (08/2012)

2002 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This appears to be one of the great efforts from Chateau Montelena, something I think I was correct about when I gave it an 'in the bottle' rating in 2006 of 95+. It is still an amazingly young wine that came from old vines on the famous St. George rootstock that did not require replanting because of the phylloxera epidemic that swept through Napa in the late 1980's and 1990's. Despite its lofty 14.4% alcohol (high by Montelena standards) and the overall flamboyance of the 2002 vintage, it needs another 4-6 years of cellaring. This young, classic Cabernet Sauvignon represents the quintessential traditional school of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. It possesses an inky/blue/purple color in addition to a tight, but promising nose of black currants, crushed rocks, earth and spice. Rich, full-bodied, pure and brilliantly executed, with perfect harmony, thi

2011 No Girls "La Paciencia Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 No Girls "La Paciencia Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (95RP, 94WE, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In the same mold, with the buzzwords being finesse and elegance, the 2011 Syrah La Paciencia Vineyard offers textbook pepper, olive tapenade, smoke and crunchy berry fruits in its medium to full-bodied, seamless and beautifully textured profile. Showing impressive complexity and already hard to resist, I-d lean towards drinking bottles over the coming decade as well. Distinctly different from both the Cayuse and Horsepower releases, winemaker Elizabeth Bourcier continues to fine-tune these No Girls releases and they always show a perfumed, lively style that-s hard to resist. They all come from the La Paciencia Vineyard, which is located in The Rocks around the town of Milton-Freewater, and all of the wines see only neutral oak. (JD)" (06/2014)

1973 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1973 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac. Chris Kissack's TheWineDoctor.com: "Phillippe Rothschild called it '...the monstrous injustice' of Mouton's second growth status. For years the labels stated simply 'Premier ne puis, second ne daigne, Mouton suis,' or 'First I cannot be, second I do not deign to be, I am Mouton'. It was clear from the great vintages produced in the 1860s and 1870s that the 1855 classification was already outdated, and that change was long overdue. But no such review of this classification will ever take place, and it was only thanks to the tireless campaigning of Philippe that Jacques Chirac, then Minister of Agriculture, passed a decree conferring the status of first growth upon Mouton-Rothschild in 1973. At last the wrong had been righted, and from then on Mouton's labels bore a new inscription, 'Premier je suis, second je fus. Mouton ne change,' or 'First I am, second I was. Mouton does not change'."

Bid on this 3-half-bottle lot of 2008 Sine Qua Non "Jinete Bajo Vin de Paille" Roussanne (375ml) (OWC - 96RP, 95ST) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The days of the Mr. K wines are gone forever with the tragically premature death of Austrian Alois Kracher, who had partnered with Manfred Krankl in this intriguing homage to sweet nectars. Krankl continues on his own, and in Spring, 2011, he will release the 2008 Jinete Bajo Roussanne Vin de Paille, which is named after his wife's favorite horse. Made from 100% estate fruit, with a finished alcohol level of 11.8%, a whopping 240 grams per liter of residual sugar, and 8.7 grams of acidity, this is a pure nectar of honeyed marmalade, waxy, syrupy honeysuckle, exotic creme brulee, and citrus. The remarkable acidity cuts through the extraordinary sweetness, so the impression is fresh and vibrant. Krankl has pulled off a marvelous balancing act with this cuvee. How long will it last? Medium to full-boded, it coats the palate with oily waves of liquefied chalk, salt, minerals, and spice. This thick, immensely rich, satin-textured effort has massive depth, purity, and length. 1970 Latour, Pauillac
Bid on this bottle of 1970 Latour, Pauillac (96RP, 94JS, 91WS, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Latour ’70 can be such a variable beast. This is certainly one of the better, more representative bottles. Deep garnet in colour, nice limpidity in the glass. It has a beautiful nose that to be honest, sweeps aside the respectable Domaine de Chevalier ’70 poured alongside, like a lord dismissing his servant with a swish of his hand. Graphite, wild black fruit, freshly rolled tobacco and a faint hint of truffle. The palate is medium-bodied and after forty years, still quite austere but the balance is nailed. Masculine and foursquare, a Latour with a lot of horsepower…but not necessarily revving in top gear…at least not after four decades. Lovely cedar and mint on the long, long finish. 1999 D'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 D'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (96RP, 91JH, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This estate's most renowned offering is their old vine Shiraz (90+ year old vines) called The Dead Arm. The unfined/unfiltered 1999 The Dead Arm Shiraz (2,000 cases) was aged in 100% new oak, of which 70% was American and 30% French. It is about as natural and unmanipulated a product of the vineyard as one can find. Full-bodied and awesomely rich, notes of black pepper, licorice, and blackberry as well as cherry liqueur cascade over the palate with enormous concentration and intensity, high tannin, and a structured, muscular style. Bid on this bottle of 2003 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac (95RP, 94WS, 93JS, 93ST, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " The spectacular 2003 Pontet Canet is still incredibly young and vigorous. This full-bodied classic boasts a dense purple color as well as a superb nose of graphite, creme de cassis, forest floor, licorice and a hint of truffles, low acidity, and extravagant richness. Most of the tannins have been resolved in this superstar of the vintage. It should continue to drink well for 10-15+ years. (RP)" (08/2014)

1983 Palmer, Margaux
Bid on this bottle of 1983 Palmer, Margaux (98RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine goes from strength to strength, and is certainly a candidate for 'wine of the vintage.' It has surpassed even Chateau Margaux in recent tastings. The color is an opaque plum/purple. The wine has a fabulously complex nose of smoked duck, white flowers, cedar, Asian spice, creme de cassis, melted licorice, and espresso. Super-concentrated, very powerful, full-bodied, and huge, this is undeniably, one of the biggest, most concentrated, and powerful Palmers made in the last 40 years. The wines has thrown off the rugged tannins that were so prominent during its first 10-15 years of life and has become increasingly seamless and compelling. Potentially this wine remains the most extraordinary Palmer after the 1961. Anticipated maturity: Now-2020. " (01/2003)

2007 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98RP, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: " I had always believed the 2007 Pinot Noir was the finest Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer had produced at their Estate Vineyard, but after doing this vertical and seeing the performances of the 1998, 2002 and 2004, that belief rings somewhat hollow. The still young, incredible 2007 has all the potential needed to achieve a three-digit rating in a few years. A dense plum/purple color is followed by notes of subtle smoke, barbecue spice, blueberries, red and black currants, flowers, and a smoky meat-like character that I first compared to the aroma of Peking duck. There is something exotic about this full-bodied, dense 2007. Young and vibrant, it should hit its peak in 5-6 years, and last until 2030-2035. This world-class, prodigious Pinot Noir is probably better than 90% of the red Burgundies being produced. 98+ (RP)" (06/2014)

2012 Realm Cellars "The Bard" Napa Valley Red Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Realm Cellars "The Bard" Napa Valley Red Blend (99RP, 94AG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Proprietary Red The Bard, a 500-case blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, is meant to showcase the finest Cabernet Sauvignon grapes they access from such great Napa Valley sites as Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Fortuna and Weitz. Beautiful notes of pungent baking spices, licorice, melted chocolate, espresso, blackberries and cassis soar from the glass of this ostentatious, flamboyant, classic, locked-and-loaded Cabernet Sauvignon. There is some tannin lurking under the surface, but this majestic superstar behaves as if it wants to be drunk young as well as over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96AG, 94ST, 93WS, 91CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The brilliant 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts an inky/purple color as well as glorious aromas of spring flowers, lead pencil shavings, licorice and a multitude of wild mountain fruits, in particular black raspberry, blackberry and cassis reminiscent of a French Pauillac (although I always think of Spottswoode as the Chateau Margaux of Napa). With a flawless integration of tannin, wood and acidity, it comes across like a liquid version of haute couture from the house of Chanel. It should drink well young yet age for 25 years. Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine Paul Pernot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Pucelles" (92BH, 92ST). 2004 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Valmur"
Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2004 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru "Valmur" (94BH, 94RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Sage leaves, rosemary, quartz, and iodine are found in the nose of the 2004 Chablis Valmur (domaine). A wine of awe-inspiring precision as well as depth, it coats the palate with sea shells, minerals, fresh herbs, and liquefied rocks. Though I freely admit to having a special fondness for the Valmur vineyard, this wine hits the taster deep in the soul. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2015...The rapidity with which Joseph Henriot turned around this once moribund estate is remarkable. Under the supervision and winemaking of super-talented Didier Seguier (from Cucq-Les-Vielmur in France’s southwest, near Castres), Domaine William Fevre has been catapulted into the top echelon of Chablis’s producers (and if you don’t believe me, just ask Vincent Dauvissat or Bernard Raveneau)." 2003 Greenock Creek "Seven Acre" Shiraz Barossa Valley
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Greenock Creek "Seven Acre" Shiraz Barossa Valley (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From 16-year-old vines, the inky/purple-tinged 2003 Shiraz Seven Acres was aged 28 months in American wood, but it has soaked up all its vanillin characteristics, exhibiting a beautifully sweet nose of blueberries, blackberries, tar, and crushed rocks. Dense, full-bodied, and opulent, this stunning Shiraz is a candidate for “Shiraz of the Vintage” in 2003. Drink it over the next 15+ years." (10/2006)

1995 Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Les Cazetiers"
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Les Cazetiers". According to the winery: "The term "Cazetier" may come from ‘Castel’ and indicate this plot’s geographical position in the village, as it lies above the castle of Gevrey. The hand-picked harvest goes through a short prefermentary maceration first, before being vinified in part in wooden tronconic vats. After the three-week vatting period, we use a vertical press to obtain very pure high-quality juices. The wine is then matured in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months, in nineteenth century vaulted cellars which provide ideal conditions for raising wines. The proportion of new oak, which is susceptible to variations according to the vintage, represents on average two thirds of the cuvée. The barrels, which come from high quality barrel makers, have been rigorously selected for their fine grain and light toast. The nose is of good intensity and complex with aromas of red fruit, grilling and toasting. This wine

2005 Branaire-Ducru, St-Julien
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Branaire-Ducru, St-Julien (95RP, 95WE, 94ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As usual, the 2005 Branaire-Ducru is one of the more distinctive wines of St.-Julien. Proprietor Patrick Maroteaux has turned out another classic. While not as opulent or fleshy as the 2003, and it remains to be seen if it will eclipse the 2000, the 2005 is a big, structured, intensely rich effort with raspberry, blueberry, and spring flower garden characteristics, stunning purity, full-bodied power, and good underlying acidity as well as harmony. The hard tannins suggest 8-9 years of cellaring will be beneficial; it should last for three decades. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2030+." (04/2008)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Meursault Genevrieres takes hold of the palate and never lets up. This is simply marvelous juice. Layers of ripe, expressive fruit emerge from the glass in this captivating, rich Meursault. A vein of minerality appears on the mid-palate, adding freshness and proportion through to the palate staining finish. This is a showstopper from Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. (AG)" (09/2011)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Henri Germain et Fils Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Morgeot" ((90-92BH), 90ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "**Sweet Spot, Outstanding** An unusually elegant and restrained nose that is both airy and orchard fruit-based leads to rich, full, naturally sweet and attractively fleshy flavors that possess fine mid-palate concentration and better detail than one typically finds in Morgeot, all wrapped in a dry, citrusy and palate staining finish. As attractive as those attributes are however, what really distinguishes the '08 version of Germain's Morgeot is the level of complexity. Worth considering." (06/2010)

2004 Lascombes, Margaux
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Lascombes, Margaux (93RP, 91ST, 90W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another brilliant effort from this estate, the 2004 Lascombes (a blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot) exhibits a deep blue/purple hue along with a sweet perfume of blueberries, black raspberries, cherries, incense, smoke, and spring flowers. While opulent, underneath the full-bodied richness of fruit and depth is a structured wine. As it sits in the glass, an espresso roast character (no doubt from new oak) also emerges. Enjoy this pure, structured, fleshy beauty between 2010-2025. (RP)" (06/2007)
