1986 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1986 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I did not pick this out as Dominus in the blind tasting, largely because it came across as such a young, rich, blockbuster wine. One of the richest, densest, most concentrated offerings in the entire tasting, it also proved to be one of the best-balanced, with better integration of acidity and tannin than many 1986s exhibited. The color remains a deep, dark ruby, with purple hues. Dense, concentrated, and pure, with copious quantities of cassis fruit intermingled with earth, spice, and minerals, this large-scaled, concentrated wine appears to have aged at a glacial pace since I first tasted it. Accessible because of its well-integrated, low acidity, this wine should continue to evolve and drink well for another 15-20 years. Very impressive. (RP)" (08/1996)

1976 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1976 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. 1976 was a banner year for Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, when their 1973 Cabernet, made by Warren Winiarski, grabbed the gold in the famous Judgement of Paris tasting, besting top-ranked Bordeaux wines such as first-growths Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Haut-Brion. From that moment on, Stag's Leap and Winiarski have played a defining role in the new California wine movement, and have been ranked among the world's most noteworthy Cabernet producers.

Perfumed, subtle aromas of raspberry, minerals and sexy oak. Sappy, pure and youthfully tight, with lovely density and definition to the flavors of raspberry, coffee and spicy oak. Finishes broad, dense, spicy and very long. This is superb for the year. (ST)" (03/2008)

2012 Casanova di Neri "Tenuta Nuova" Brunello di Montalcino
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Casanova di Neri "Tenuta Nuova" Brunello di Montalcino (96JS, 96RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This edition of Casanova di Neri's celebrated single-vineyard wine opens to a luminous garnet color and exuberant fruit aromas. The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova offers a lot to the bouquet, from sweet cherry aromas to savory tones of tobacco and leather. This wine shows a powerful inner motor of flavor concentration and density that propels it forward. All that density and richness wraps thickly over the palate. This is a lasting wine of brawn and muscle. (ML)" (02/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96ST, 95CG, 95WE, 95WS, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Monte Bello ,72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot is simply magnificent. Layers of dark red fruit, flowers, spices and graphite are all woven together in this utterly impeccable wine. The 2009 is an especially huge, intense Monte Bello, yet a sexy, silky core of fruit lies within its imposing frame. Everything comes together in this glorious, radiant wine. Last year the 2009 had some pretty stiff competition from the 2010, but today it is simply firing on all cylinders. Eric Baugher describes 2009 as a year with cold weather early on, followed by heat in early June and July. The fruit was brought in on October 12, just before an intense downpour swept through the region. There is a purity and silkiness supported by structure in the 2009 that is impossible not to admire. Simply put, this i

Wine Spectator: " *#18 on Top 100 of 2015, Collectible* A stunning red, featuring peony, strawberry, cherry and mineral flavors, accented by notes of wild herbs. Intense and deep, with great purity and elegance, a firmly wrought structure and a long finish. The harmony between fruit, tannins and acidity should allow this to age beautifully. 2012 Chapelle d'Ausone, St Emillion (OWC)
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Chapelle d'Ausone, St Emillion (OWC - 93RP, 92VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One can’t say enough about the amazing job that Alain Vauthier and his daughter have done at this historic property on the decomposed limestone slopes of St.-Emilion. About half of their production goes into the second wine, Chapelle D’Ausone, which gives you an indication of the compulsive perfectionist attitude of the Vauthiers. The 2012 Chapelle D’Ausone has a dense ruby/purple color and is rich, broad and expansive, with notes of plum, blueberry and black raspberry fruit, powdered chalk and flowers. The wine is medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure and long and rich. This is better than many of the vintages of Ausone in the 1940s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, which says a lot about what Vauthier has achieved. Drink it over the next 20-25 years. (RP)" (04/2015)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Billaud-Simon Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" (92BH, 90RP). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is less exotic though that is not to say that there is none to the smoky nose that is comprised primarily mineral reduction notes. There is good ripeness, concentration and power to the medium weight flavors that manage to retain solid delineation before culminating in a driving finish. As the typical Les Clos goes this is a good deal more forward and should drink well young." (10/2015)

2011 Domaine Charvin Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Charvin Châteauneuf-du-Pape (94RP, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Looking at the Chateauneufs, and a gorgeous example of the vintage as well as one of the top wines, Laurent’s 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape (85% Grenache and the balance Syrah, Mourvedre and Vaccarese) offers up an elegant, seamless profile with pretty aromas and flavors of sweet cherries, licorice, rose petal, ground pepper and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, pure and with building richness, it has a glossy, textured profile on the palate that’s hard to resist. While approachable, it has the mid-palate, freshness and overall balance to evolve gracefully for 10-12 years. Drink now-2023. (JD)" (10/2013)

2010 Dal Forno Romano Valpolicella Superiore
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Dal Forno Romano Valpolicella Superiore (95JS, 95RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Valpolicella Superiore Monte Lodoletta is more precise and focused compared to the 2011 edition that I tasted at the estate at the same time. This was not an easy vintage in Valpolicella compared to other parts of Italy that enjoyed a classic growing season. Instead, this Northern corner of Italy suffered from heavy rains and some hail damage. Overall yields were lower as a result. But the wine sings in terms of its brightness and aromatic intensity today. The expressive bouquet covers all the bases from black fruit to spice to drying mineral or flint. All of these elements conspire to bring robust flavors together with smooth and seamless transitions. (ML)" (05/2017)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Released seven years after the harvest, the 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Poggio al Vento is a stunning wine. It soars to the highest altitudes in terms of elegance and power. These opposite forces—muscle versus grace—are what distinguish this classic vintage. Col d'Orcia has effortlessly captured and immortalized both sides of the continuum. The bouquet produces a long succession of aromas including dried cherry fruit, licorice, cola, lavender flower, cured meat and black truffle. The velvety finish is supple and long in persistence. This is a gorgeous creation. (ML)" (02/2017)

With extended air, the honeyed aspect recedes if not disappears and the overall impression is really quite elegant and pure." (10/2004)

2010 Domaine de Marcoux Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine de Marcoux Châteauneuf-du-Pape (93RP, 93ST, 92JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape was fashioned from yields of 12 hectoliters per hectare and is a blend of 74% Grenache, 14% Mourvedre, 9% Syrah and 3% Cinsault aged primarily in cement tanks with one-third spending time in truncated wood foudres. It exhibits a deep ruby/purple color, stunning concentration and lots of raspberry, cassis, blueberry and acacia flower notes. With plenty of glycerin, sweet tannin, a long, heady finish and 15%+ alcohol, it should evolve effortlessly for 15 or more years. One of the classic family-owned domaines in Chateauneuf du Pape (of which there are many), Domaine de Marcoux is run by two dynamic sisters, Sophie and Catherine Armenier. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, including fruit from some of the oldest Cabernet vines still in existence in Napa. This full-bodied classic displays notes of forest floor, earth, crème de cassis, blackberry liqueur, licorice and some pen ink. It is dense, full-bodied, prodigiously rich, massive in intensity, yet relatively light on its feet. This great ballerina of a wine has extraordinary ripeness but pulls back from the edge before going over the top. There are 1,000 cases of this classic, which should age effortlessly for 30+ years. Full-bodied, with ultrapolished tannins and a silky mouthfeel. The palate turns to leaves, cedar and dried berries on the finish, which goes on and on. This is still reserved for the vintage, suggesting a long life ahead. Just coming around now, but will improve many years ahead. I have always loved this Lynch. (JS, Web Only-2010)"

Bid on this bottle of 1990 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Chapelle" Hermitage (100JD, 100RP, 98JS, 97WS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The color remains an opaque purple, with only a slight pink at the edge. Spectacular aromatics offer up aromas of incense, smoke, blackberry fruit, cassis, barbecue spice, coffee, and a touch of chocolate. As it sits in the glass, additional nuances of pepper and grilled steak emerge. There is extraordinary freshness for such a mammoth wine in addition to abundant tannin, an amazing 60-second finish, and a level of glycerin and thick, fleshy texture that have to be tasted to be believed. Despite its youthfulness, the 1990 La Chapelle is lovely to drink, although it will be even better with another 5-6 years of cellaring; it should age for 35-40+ years. The wine’s opulence and voluptuous character compare to its greatest vintages, such as 1998, 2000, 2005, 2009 and 2010. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Pape-Clément, Pessac-Léognan (94RP, 93ST, 92WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at Bordeaux Index's annual 10-Year On tasting in London. The 2006 Château Pape Clément has an intense bouquet that is very well defined, adorned with cassis, blueberry and subtle iodine scents that all gain momentum in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, very well-judged acidity, the new oak neatly enmeshed and blessed with a precise, harmonious finish that lingers. This is a wonderful Pape Clément that will give much pleasure over the next 20 or 30 years. (NM)" (05/2016)

Of the 2004 Williams Selyem "Flax Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir,Wine Enthusiast writes: " *Editor's Choice* This is really a fabulous Pinot Noir that is absolutely Grand Cru. It’s balanced, but what’s hard to describe is how the wine can be silky and airy, yet dense and complex. The fruit is amazingly ripe, a detonation of cherries, cola, raspberries, pomegranates and coffee, with new oaky layers of caramel, toa

2008 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Sonoma County Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Sonoma County Chardonnay (98RP, 96WS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Chardonnay Point Rouge pushes intensity and richness to the limit. It is an extravagant Chardonnay with tremendous amounts of buttered tropical fruits, white peaches, hazelnuts, almond paste, brioche, crushed rocks and spring flowers. As always, the 2008 Point Rouge is one of the most profound California Chardonnays produced. It should keep for a decade or more. (RP)" (02/2011)

2007 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this bottle of 2007 Bond "Vecina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 98VN, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A perfect wine, the 2007 Vecina provides a prodigious display of blackberries, charcoal, black currants, burning embers and a La Mission-Haut-Brion-like hot rock/gravelly character. The most tannic as well as most concentrated and layered of the 2007s, this is a long-term, but utterly brilliant wine. In many ways it reminds me of the Harlan Estate itself given its prodigious build and potential for extended longevity. It merits 4-5 years of bottle age and should drink well for three decades thereafter. (RP)" (12/2010)

2009 Rhys "Alpine Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Rhys "Alpine Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (94ST, 93JG, 93RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Vivid yellow. Musky aromas of chamomile, pear skin, anise and iodine, with suave floral and gingerbread notes emerging with aeration. Juicy and broad on entry, then a bit tighter in the middle, offering densely packed orchard fruit flavors and notes of smoke and honeysuckle. More powerful than the Horseshoe but no less animated. This complex and tactile chardonnay boasts an intriguing interplay of ripe fruit and energetic spices. Finishes on a gently smoky note, with excellent persistence. (ST)" (06/2011)

2004 Sine Qua Non "Into the Dark" Central Coast Grenache
Bid on this bottle of 2004 Sine Qua Non "Into the Dark" Central Coast Grenache (99RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More up-front and open-knit, the 2004 In the Dark (Grenache) checks in as a blend of 84% Grenache, 8% Mourvedre, 7% Syrah and 1% Viognier that comes mostly from Manfred’s 11 Confessions Vineyard, yet includes small portions from Alban (10%) and Alta Mesa (9%) Vineyard. Reminding me of Clos Saint-Jean’s Sanctus Sanctorum with its incredible bouquet of sweet kirsch, licorice, dried baking spices, graphite and ground pepper, this beauty flows onto the palate with impeccable purity, perfect integration of its fruit, tannin and acidity, and blockbuster length. As is common with this estate’s wine, it’s the purity paired with serious richness that sets it apart. While still youthful and benefiting from a healthy decadence, I think it’s drinking at point and would aim to drink bottles over the coming 4-5 years. It will evolve gracefully for longer, but I see no reason t

1979 Feytit Clinet, Pomerol
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1979 Feytit Clinet, Pomerol. Situated on the western part of the plateau in the Pomerol wine appellation in Bordeaux, Château Feytit-Clinet belonged to the stable of Moueix family wines until 1999. After a long-running legal dispute, the owners of the property, the Chasseuil family, regained control as of the 2000 vintage. Soils here are rich in clay which favours the Merlot grape rather than the Cabernets, and the château produces succulent wines, never over-extracted, and full of charm and distinction. The vineyard area extends 6.5 hectares (16 acres), with a grape variety distribution of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The annual production averages 2,000 cases of the Grand vin Château Feytit-Clinet.

2013 Darioush "Darius II" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2013 Darioush "Darius II" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Once again, the top wine in the vintage for Darioush is their 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Darius II. This is a stunner and compelling, a powerful, classic Cabernet Sauvignon with an opaque purple color and notes of incense, graphite, crème de cassis and blackberry. It is long and rich, with an extra dimension compared to the 2014 version. This wine is accessible now, but should be even better after 3-4 years of cellaring and last 25 or more years. Bid on this bottle of 2004 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Aux Reignots" (92ST, 91BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red. Downright sexy nose offers raspberry, Oriental spices, flowers and a hint of pepper that Liger-Belair said was more apparent last spring. The deepest and blackest yet of these 2004s, with penetrating, rich flavors of wild dark fruits complicated by game, iron and tobacco.
