Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru (90RP, 90ST, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Very pale ruby colour. Warm strawberry and preserved raspberry fruit with some white pepper, coriander seed and loam. A little leather. The palate is approaching maturity with flavours going into the dried fruit range and the low to medium level of tannins are softening into a powdery texture. Medium to high acidity and a long finish. (LPB)" (05/2010)

2000 Domaine Frédéric Magnien Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Domaine Frédéric Magnien Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru ((88-91BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A dramatic step up in quality and class with full, rich, almost steely, mineral-laden aromas and fine, pure and intense flavors that seem chiseled and muscular. This is fine rather than powerful but I very much like the style of this. Typical Pernand Corton-Charlemagne as it is a wine of finesse, purity, minerality and detail rather than drama." (07/2002)

2001 Viviani "Casa dei Bepi" Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2001 Viviani "Casa dei Bepi" Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva. Claudio Viviani takes a different approach to his wines; he looks for nuance, elegance, balance and above all, the ability of the wines to complement and enhance a meal. Viviani is a man who likes to drink his own wines with dinner and (like all good Italians), he loves food! Even as harvest dates in Valpolicella have gotten later and later amongst his peers, Claudio looks to no one but the grapes themselves to tell him when they're ready to be picked. This unique and confident approach (combined with excellent terroir), results in wines which are bright, lively and refreshingly juicy on the palate, even within the larger impression of dense concentration.

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96WS, 95RP, 94JD, 93ST). Wine Spectator: "A real powerhouse, with muscular layers of fig and black currant compote, backed by braised beef, chestnut, tobacco and tar flavors. The long, mesquite-filled finish lets additional bittersweet cocoa and dark fruit notes linger, with lots of garrigue. Best from 2008 through 2025. *#12 Top 100 of 2007, Collectibles* (JM)" (05/2007)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2003 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95WE, 94WS, 93ST, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "One of the big names of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and this wine justifies the fame of the Perrin family’s property. It is a rich style, but, more importantly, it is beautifully made, structured, dense, with red jelly fruits, a touch of vanilla and a fat, full-bodied, but firm aftertaste. This is a wine for aging—give it at least five years before touching it. *Editors' Choice* (RV)" (12/2005)

2000 Domaine Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru "Butteaux"
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Domaine Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru "Butteaux" (93JG, 91ST, 90BH, 90WS). John Gilman: "The Butteaux vineyard is located with Montée de Tonnerre on the Rive Droit, and according to Jean-François, can always be counted on to make more age-worthy wines. In my experience, the Butteaux is always the second best premier cru in the Raveneau stable, with the wines lasting as well as the Montée de Tonnerre. The 2000 will be superb, and will require a few years in the cellar before it is broachable. The bouquet is deep and pure, offering up scents of lemon zest, green apple, strong chalky soil tones, incipient notes of paraffin, and though it makes no sense (with all these ancient barrels), a bit of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is deep and nicely tensile, with a great core of fruit, excellent delineation, birght, firm acids, and great legnth and grip on the finish. (Drink between 2008-2025) 93+ " (12/2003)

2005 Domaine Tempier Bandol (1.5L)
Bid on this 1.5 liter 5-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine Tempier Bandol (1.5L) (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A potent nose of blackberry, leather, and forest floor, a little disjointed at first but becoming more harmonious with aeration. The full-bodied palate is a little rustic, but well balanced with a herbaceous, leafy core. Just lacking a little persistency and length on the finish, but good potential. 2003 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage (100RP, 98ST, 98WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Hermitage is as profound as they come. Inky in color, with incredible kirsch, blackberry liqueur, flowers, licorice and hints of underlying meatiness, it hits the palate with a full-bodied, massively concentrated profile that has nothing out of place, seamless integration of its fruit, alcohol and tannin, and an overriding elegant, perfectly balanced feel. Drink it anytime over the coming three decades. Jean Louis’ two 2003 Hermitages should be on everyone’s bucket list of wines to try at least once (preferably more) in their life. 1996 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 1996 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (1.5L) (98RP, 96ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1996 Leoville-Las Cases is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 16% Cabernet Franc picked between 25 September and 10 October (for fascinating insight, read Robert Parker's remarks about the blend with Michel Delon in the original tasting note). Now at 20 years, it has evolved into an absolutely stunning Saint Julien, clearly one of the best wines from the estate this decade. The bouquet is beautifully defined with intense black cherries, cedar, mint and a touch of oyster shell that seems to gain intensity in the glass. The palate is seamless from start to finish, extraordinarily pure, the 70% new oak totally assimilated of course, impressive weight and power allied with genuine finesse and tension towards the silky smooth finish. It stands as one of the best wines of the vintage without one iota of doubt and it will last 30-40 years without problem. You

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Sine Qua Non "Trouver L'Arène" California Syrah (100RP, (96-99JD), (94-97VN)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 80.5% Syrah, 7% Petite Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre, 2% Grenache and 3.5% Viognier, all sourced from estate vineyards—37% The Third Twin, 36% Eleven Confessions and 27% Cumulus—the 2015 Syrah Trouver L’Arene was made using 34% whole cluster and has a deep purple-black color with intense cassis, black plums and black cherries scents plus hints of anise, violets, sage and tar, with wafts of savory/smoked meat suggestions. Full-bodied, this voluptuous beauty is seriously singing in the mouth, belting out vibrant red and black fruit flavor layers, all framed by very fine, rounded, ripe tannins and a wonderful freshness, finishing with persistent perfumed fruit and a spring in its step. 2001 E. Guigal "La Mouline" Côte-Rôtie
Bid on this bottle of 2001 E. Guigal "La Mouline" Côte-Rôtie (96ST, 95RP, 95WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Dark red color. Pungently floral aromas meld smoky red berries, exotic rose petal, dried lavender and magnolia blossom. Dense and extremely sweet, showing an explosive array of red fruit flavors along with exotic floral and sweet tobacco tones and an overlay of smoky bacon and bonfires. A bright mineral tone sharpens the fruit, adding focus and precision to the flavors. The finish builds and deepens but maintains superb elegance and silkiness of texture, finishing on notes of wild red berries and rose oil. (JR)" (01/2006)

Of the 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon, CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "There is something ethereal about the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS, a wine that I tend to give more perfect scores to than of the other Schrader offerings. This is clone 4 from a special block of the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, and it always seems to have these incredible, explosive aromatics ranging from blueberry to blackberry to cassis to spring flowers and lead pencil shavings. 2003 Château Rayas "Réserve" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Bid on this bottle of 2003 Château Rayas "Réserve" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Rayas Chateauneuf du Pape has gone from strength to strength and now looks to be the finest vintage since the monumental 1995. Deep ruby to the rim with that classic Rayas nose of flowers, kirsch liqueur, black raspberries, crushed rocks, and minerals, the wine is dense and concentrated, with a broad, savory mouthfeel, sweet yet silky tannin, fabulous persistence, and a blockbuster finish that just goes on and on. This is a reassuringly profound Rayas that seems to suggest that Emmanuel Reynaud has finally figured out this cold-climate terroir in a warm climate appellation. This wine should be given 3-4 years of bottle age, and drunk over the following 20+ years. (RP)" (02/2006)

It was aged for 32 months in 70% new French oak. Saturated in appearance, the wine offers up notes of pain grille, balsamic, crushed stone, floral notes, and wild black fruits. Exceptionally powerful, focused, and beautifully proportioned, this full-bodied wine is dense, rich, and structured for the long haul. 2012 Rhys "Alpine Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir
Bid on this bottle of 2012 Rhys "Alpine Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (95ST, 94VN, 93JG, 93RP, 92BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Vivid ruby-red. Intensely perfumed, mineral-driven red berry, blood orange and potpourri aromas are complemented by deeper-pitched notes of cola and smoky Indian spices. Sweet, focused and light on its feet, offering intense raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a silky, seamless texture. The mineral quality comes back on the endless finish, which is strikingly pure, focused and gently tannic. I was reminded of a high-end Chambolle-Musigny when I tasted this balanced but intensely flavored wine and suspect that it will age slowly and gracefully over at least the coming decade. Vinous: "A dark, brooding beauty, the 2006 Monte Bello is still very, very young. The aromatics alone are enticing, but the tannins still need time to soften. The 2006 is a masculine, vertical Monte Bello that demands cellaring. Even so, it is pretty impressive today. Scents of lavender, sage, mint and savory herbs add closing flourishes. The perfumed sweetness of the fruit (one of the hallmarks of the very late harvest) remains one of the signatures of the 2006. The 2006 can be enjoyed today or cellared for another 25+ years. A blend of 93% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah and 2% Viognier, all from the Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, it spent 40 months in 78% new French oak. 2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96WE, 95ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A monumental wine in the making, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of those wines that presents such an over the top array of aromas and flavors that it’s hard to figure out what you think about it with just a quick glance. It’s only with the second or third sip that you really start to see how special this effort truly is. Offering up perfumed, intense aromas of plum, violets, ink, licorice and black currants, it flows onto the palate with a massive, incredibly full-bodied texture that builds through the mid-palate and carries layers of polished tannins, awesome purity of fruit and blockbuster length. Most likely not for everyone given the sheer size, it is an incredible wine in my opinion. Still tasting like a barrel sample, it will have 30+ total years of longevity. Drink 2017-2037. Bid on this bottle of 1964 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac. The label for this vintage features the artwork of Henry Moore. Mouton Rothschild, always in the forefront of the greatest wines of Bordeaux, was the first estate to begin complete château-bottling of the harvest--a historic step initiated in 1924 by the late Philippe de Rothschild. It is the only château in the Classification of 1855 to achieve reclassification. In 1973, it was finally moved from a second growth to a first.

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Myriad "Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 93JS, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An absolutely fabulous wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard has an inky bluish/purple color, extraordinary nose of graphite, blueberry and blackberry liqueur, forest floor and spring flora. The wine hits the palate with a full-bodied richness, stunning purity and an absolutely magnificent texture and length. It would be difficult to want more in a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon than this. 1990 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375ml)
Bid on this half-bottle of 1990 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375ml) (99RP, 95WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An extraordinary effort, Yquem's 1990 is a rich and fabulously superb, sweet wine. This wine also possesses lots of elegance and finesse. The wine's medium gold color is accompanied by an exceptionally sweet nose of honeyed tropical fruits, peaches, coconut, and apricots. High quality, subtle toasty oak is well-integrated. The wine is massive on the palate, with layers of intensely ripe botrytis-tinged, exceptionally sweet fruit. Surprisingly well-integrated acidity, and a seamless, full-bodied power and richness have created a wine of remarkable harmony and purity. Certainly it is one of the richest Yquems I have ever tasted, with 50-100 years of potential longevity. An awesome Yquem! Anticipated maturity: 2003-2050+. (RP)" (04/1999)

Sweet herbs, roasted coffee beans, licorice and succulent cherries are all woven together in this subtle, refined red. The 2009 can be enjoyed relatively young, yet appears to have the potential to develop considerably in bottle. In 2009, the blend is 75% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. 2000 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (93RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The deep saturated ruby/purple-colored 2000 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard offers a beautiful perfume of violets, minerals, sweet black cherry and raspberry fruit, toasty wood, and earth. It is a Comte de Vogue Musigny-like effort without the copious tannin. This long, rich, nicely-textured, and pure offering will be at its finest between 2005-2016. Steve Kistler and his sidekick, Mark Bixler, feel that the key to making top quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 2000 (an extremely cold year with higher acids) was patience. Some years the flavors come early, and in other years they are much later. (RP)" (08/2002)

Of the 2005 Pax "Griffin's Lair" Sonoma Coast Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2005 Syrah Griffin’s Lair, from a hillside Sonoma Coast site that is wind-swept, exhibits beautiful flowery bacon and lead pencil notes intermixed with some meat juices, blackberry, and cassis. The wine is full-bodied, rather opulent, fleshy, and mouthfilling with no hard edges, and should drink beautifully for 5-8 years. (RP)" (12/2007)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2006 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (96WE, 92CG, 92ST, 92WS, 91RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Only a Burgundian ideologue would find anything not to like about this mouth-filling Pinot that captures the essence of Santa Rita Hills. It’s as voluptuous as any Pinot in California, offering waves of ripe, fleshy cherries, red currants, licorice and smoky vanilla that just don’t stop in palate appeal. For all that, the wine is elegant, silky and refined. Delicious now, although a little tannic, and will benefit from decanting and aging. Bring on the steak." (12/2008)

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Maybach Family "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 97RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of the greatest wines in the vintage is the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a higher elevation hillside vineyard in Oakville that was raised in 90% new French oak barrels. Just magical stuff that has incredible aromatics of crème de cassis, white flowers, huge minerality, violets, and scorched earth. This is followed by a massive, opulent, yet weightless wine that has off the charts purity of fruit, fine, fine tannin, perfect balance, and a finish that won’t quit. Of the 2012 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A candidate for the wine of the vintage, the 2012 Booker Vineyard is a blend of 73% Syrah and 27% Mourvedre that was aged 20-26 months in 60% new French oak. It's a classic expression of the vineyard and offers up lots of smoked meats, cracked pepper, wild herbs and tons of dark fruit. Big, full-bodied, thick and chewy, it has gorgeous purity and sweetness of fruit. It shows surprising finesse and elegance with time in the glass, but make no mistake, it's a big, rich and decadent beauty that will benefit from short-term cell

2009 Pape-Clément Blanc, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this bottle of 2009 Pape-Clément Blanc, Pessac-Léognan (100JS, 100RP, 94WE, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Pape Clement Blanc is an absolutely remarkable wine, which is not a surprise given what this historic estate has done in both white and red over the last 20 years. Their white wine, an intriguing blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Semillon, 16% Sauvignon Gris and the rest Muscadelle, comes from 7.5 acres of pure gravelly soil. An exquisite nose of honeysuckle, tropical fruit, pineapple, green apples, and orange and apricot marmalade soar from the glass. Great acidity, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a texture more akin to great grand cru white Burgundy put this wine in a class by itself. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were others who also think this is pure perfection in white Bordeaux. I tasted this wine four separate times and gave it a perfect score three of the four times. It is one of most exquisite dry white I have ever tasted from anywhere -- period. Ce

Vinous: "The 2013 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigna del Sorbo possesses off-the-charts richness and textural intensity. Beams of tannin give the wine its shape, but they are nearly buried by the sheer depth of the fruit. Readers should expect a dark, virile Vigna del Sorbo that is likely to develop at a glacial pace. The 2013 was reticent last year and is even more so this year. (AG) 97+ " (01/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Castello dei Rampolla "Sammarco" Toscana (100VN, 97JS, 96RP, 95ST, 94WS, 93W&S). Vinous: "The 2010 Sammarco tastes like biting into a combination of graphite, crushed rocks, smoke, violets, kirsch, lavender and sweet spices. The flavors are intense and concentrated, yet also incredibly nuanced. Firm tannins give the wine an extra kick of energy on the sculpted finish. I don't expect the 2010 will be ready to drink anytime soon, but it is a real pleasure to revisit today, as it is just as stunning as it has always been. In a word: magnificent! (AG)" (10/2015)

Of the 2002 Pride Mountain Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,Connoisseurs Guide writes: "Intensely aromatic and redolent of raspberries, cassis, cocoa and touches of loam, this very rich and powerful young wine follows through with wonderfully concentrated flavors that are every bit as big and fully filled as expected. Although its sheer sense of mass and immediacy will hold it in reasonable stead as a near-term partner to meats on the bone, it has the strength and the structure to grow even better with time and deserves a wait of at least five years if not ten." This Amarone-styled, deep ruby/purple-colored Zinfandel reveals dark earthy fruits along with hints of figs, raisins, plums, and prunes, abundant sweetness from high glycerin, excellent density, and tremendous purity for such a dry table wine. Lemon, nut oil, smoky oak, spices and a sweet floral nuance on the nose. Rich, ripe and supple but juicy, with lovely depth to the lemon and spice flavors.
