Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Myriad Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 91RP). James Suckling: "A layered and rich red with stone and blackberry. 2010 Forman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Forman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 98VN, 95ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Just as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon jumps from the glass with an exotic, beguiling melange of violets, cassis, spices and menthol. Layers of fruit supported by vivid, beautifully articulated tannins cover every inch of the palate. Rich and powerful, the 2010 never abandons its classic sense of structure. Today, the 2010 is a bit compact, but time should prove to be very beneficial in releasing the wine’s true potential. There is absolutely nothing out of place in this majestic Cabernet Sauvignon. The tannins are virtually imperceptible, as is the new oak. The long growing season produced a wine that is among the finest of the vintage. This is an unforgettable wine from Ric Forman. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2035. (AG)" (12/2012)

1999 Vérité "La Joie" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 Vérité "La Joie" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94ST, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon and 41% Merlot (89% from Sonoma and 11% from Napa), the 1999 is a much younger wine than the 1998 and still has some upside potential. A deep ruby/purple color is followed by notes of graphite, unsmoked high class cigar tobacco, black currants and flowers. Round and generous with some tannins in the finish, it is close to full maturity and should drink well for another 15+ years. (RP)" (06/2011)

2013 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC)
Bid on this magnum lot of 2013 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 100RP, 98JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky, which is essentially made from clone 4 from two separate blocks, clone 6 and clone 337, is another perfect wine from the Schraders. I suppose it’s a little boring to say, and perhaps I can be accused of creating unrealistic expectations on the part of readers, but this is as great as Cabernet can be. Tasting like a first-growth Pauillac, the wine is opaque purple and has a fabulous nose of lead pencil, spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry and the telltale cassis. There is also some licorice and sweet oak, the tannins are ripe, and the wine full-bodied. Built like a skyscraper, with an incredible finish (like most of these wines) going on for 50 seconds to a minute, this amazing wine should still be drinking splendidly well at age 25 or 30. (RP)" (10/2015)

2009 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93CG, 93ST, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain has more energy and focus than the Napa Valley bottling. Iron, graphite, red fruits, dried flowers are some of the many notes that take shape in this deep, complex, powerful wine. I imagine the 2009 will still be spectacular at age 30. For now, it needs at least another handful of years of cellaring to drink well. Huge veins of minerality support the huge fruit, giving the wine much of its pure tension and vitality. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the coming decades. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2039. 96+ (AG)" (12/2012)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Cayuse "The Widowmaker" Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 93WE, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A silky, supple and downright sexy 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2010 Widowmaker En Chamberlin Vineyard offers up notes of sweet red and black currants, leaf tobacco, mulled spices and cedar to go with a full-bodied, rich and gorgeously textured and polished palate. Already approachable and surprisingly civilized, with a core of sweet fruit and ripe, polished tannin, it nevertheless holds up beautifully with air and drank well for the three days I had the bottle open. Enjoy it over the coming 12-15+ years. Drink now-2025+. (JD)" (06/2013)

Of the 2011 Sine Qua Non "Dark Blossom" California Syrah,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2011 Syrah Dark Blossom showed even better from bottle than barrel ... this beauty was fermented with 17% whole clusters and aged in equal parts new and used French oak. One of the shining successes in the vintage, it’s a full-bodied, concentrated and layered Syrah that has awesome aromatics of blackcurrants, Peking duck, pepper, licorice and charcuterie in its seamless, thrillingly pure profile. As with Manfred’s other 2011s, the tannins are certainly present, yet they’re sweet, polished and have no hard edges. Give this beauty 2-3 years in the cellar and enjoy bottles through 2031. Of the 2015 Alpha Omega "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard offers up notes of crème de cassis, mulberries, baked cherries and violets with hints of cinnamon stick and anise plus earthy undertones. Very rich, polished and downright sexy in the full-bodied mouth, it delivers wonderfully velvety tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with persistent earth and mineral layers. 2002 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2002 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 96WE, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Araujo’s spectacular 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard is a 1,700-case blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot from a vineyard tucked in the lower hillsides of northeastern Napa Valley, not far from the quaint town of Calistoga. Araujo has enjoyed an incredible string of top-notch vintages from 2001 through 2005 and again from 2008 through 2010. Extremely youthful at age ten, the 2002 is a candidate for perfection. Its dense blue/purple hue is followed by abundant aromas of cassis, incense, crushed rocks and spring flowers. Full-bodied and opulent as well as pure, rich and authoritative, with abundant but beautifully integrated tannins, this opulent, plush 2002 can be drunk now or cellared for another 20-25 years. 1988 Domaine Comte Armand Pommard 1er Cru "Clos des Epeneaux"
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1988 Domaine Comte Armand Pommard 1er Cru "Clos des Epeneaux" (91BH, 90RP, 90WS). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "No bricking at all. A densely fruited nose of spice, earth, sauvage and mineral notes that still sports almost completely primary fruit, which is highly unusual in a 20 year old wine that leads to very rich, full, intense and detailed big-bodied flavors that culminate in a mouth coating, velvety and powerful finish that delivers excellent length. While this is indisputably a creature of its vintage, it's a fine example and while this could be approached now with 30 to 45 minutes of air, the mid-palate concentration is such that I believe this will continue to improve for another 5 to 10 years. An impressive '88 in an irregular vintage." (07/2008)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru (95ST, 94BH, (92-94RP)). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good full red. Ineffable aromas and flavors of red berries, cocoa powder, smoked meat, faded rose and wild herbs, plus a whiff of game. Still a bit youthfully tough on the palate, but already communicates great grip and energy; comes across as deeper and more masculine than the 2011 version. Vinous: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. Wild, scented nose offers currant, cherry, dried rose and game. Juicy, brisk and delineated, showing a distinctly imploded quality to the red raspberry, mocha and floral flavors. Firmly tannic but not hard, finishing with superb rising length and lovely perfume. Dense, concentrated and in need of patience. (ST)" (04/2012)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses wafts from the glass with the most sensual aromatics one could possibly imagine. A weightless, airy wine, the Amoureuses graces the palate with extraordinary elegance. Despite its finessed personality, there is plenty of underlying structure lurking in the background. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2000 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (95ST, 93JS, 93VN, 93WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep, bright red-ruby. Aromas of ripe red cherry, dark plum and kirsch are complicated by sexy woodsmoke, eucalyptus and bay leaf. Silky and rather lush, with considerable sweetness and creaminess to its ripe, sweet flavours of cassis, blackberry jelly and ripe black plum. Finishes with fine-grained tannins and lingering notes of minerals, herbs, dried flowers and smoke. Displays lovely balance and good length on the rich, seamless, creamy-ripe finish, which exhibits a lingering menthol note that reminded me of a Napa cabernet. The 2000 vintage was a warm one, especially in August, with some varieties such as merlot reaching high sugar levels before full polyphenolic maturity was achieved. However, the combination of a cooler microclimate and old cabernet vines allowed Tenuta San Guido to make a better wine than many on the Tuscan Coast this

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyard "Signature" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The limited production (fewer than 100 cases) 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature is meant to represent the finest lots as chosen by proprietor and winemaker, Todd Anderson. An impressively saturated ruby/purple color is followed by gorgeously expressive aromas and flavors of blueberries, blackberries and cassis fruit that fill the mouth and coat the palate with no hard edges or heaviness. The wood component is completely obscured by the wine’s lavish, extravagant ripeness and richness. Fine-tuned, precise, full-bodied and pure, it represents the greatness of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98JS, 97VN, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "With the lowest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in of any of the wines from this vertical, the 2012 final blend was 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Production across the board in 2012 was high, and reflected in the 3,977 cases made at Spottswoode. This is a dramatic, flamboyant, modern-day version of the 2002. Dramatic blueberry, black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, along with camphor, charcoal, white flowers and foresty notes all emerge from the impressive aromatics that soar from the glass. The intense, explosively rich, full-bodied palate is layered with beautiful purity, stunningly sweet, silky tannins and terrific presence and complexity. Medium to full-bodied, with exceptional purity, superb concentration, and a long, intense, ripe, 40-second finish, this is a magnificent example of Latour. 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. (RP)" (03/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Domaine Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Aux Combottes" (91BH, 90ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Red cassis fruit aromas of striking elegance and finesse introduce round, supple, forward, and precise middle weight flavors. The finish is quite long and I very much like the vibrancy and overall freshness here plus this too displays near perfect balance. There is a touch of finishing warmth but not enough to detract from what is a really stylish and seductive wine. *Outstanding* " (01/2005)

Its profound dark cherry aromas lead to a medium-to-full-bodied, broad, and complex core of red cherries, spices, plums, and vanilla-infused oak. This expansive wine is deep, well-balanced, velvety-textured, and has a long, flavor-packed finish. (PR)" (10/2000)

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Domaine Rousseau Chambertin Grand Cru ((93-95ST), 94BH, 94VN, 90RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Cooler, more medicinal, more aristocratic nose than the Clos de Beze: notes of red fruits, licorice and spice, along with a whiff of bacon fat. Impressively concentrated and voluminous; quite large-scaled, even powerful for the vintage, but fresh and utterly round. Firm acidity gives the wine great inner-mouth perfume and lift. Strong, lingering fruit outlasts the substantial chewy tannins. (ST)" (03/2002)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru (96RP, 95BH, 95VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Chambertin Clos-de-Beze Grand Cru is drinking beautifully at the moment. It has a pixilated bouquet that is utterly entrancing – red currant, bergamot, hints of pomegranate seeds and an underlying mineralite that is divine. The palate is perfectly balanced with extremely fine tannins. There is something regal and self-assured about this Clos-de-Beze, with a sense of weightlessness in the mouth that is bewitching. This both satisfies the senses and flirts with profundity. Dare I suggest this is too exquisite to cellar? Damn – I’ve just gone and done it. Drink now-2020. (NM)" (08/2013)

He is right: With its denseness, spice, flavors of black currants layered with dryness and fresh acidity, this is a huge and impressive wine that never forgets that it is Margaux. It is still young, and the dry tannic aftertaste, which lasts for many minutes, shows this. (RV)" (06/2005)

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2003 Angélus, St-Emilion (OWC - 98RP, 94WS, 93JS, 92ST) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine from my cellar, as well as at a tasting in Zurich in February of 2015. It is one of the handful of 2003s I bought from the Right Bank of Bordeaux in this vintage. Angelus really nailed the vintage, and has produced a fully mature wine that’s truly strutting its stuff. Dense, bluish/purple, it offers gorgeous notes of espresso roast, blackberry and blueberry liqueur, acacia flowers and a touch of chocolate. It is full-bodied, opulent and seems close to full maturity, as it is evolving quickly. The wine is full-bodied, rich and should be drunk over the next decade. (RP)" (08/2015)

James Suckling: "Super rich and deeply ripe, this is packed with dark fruits as well as violets, pepper, flint and graphite-derived aromas amid notes of dark Belgian chocolate. The palate delivers a sweeping wave of perfectly ripe tannins and a seamless build through red and dark plums to black-cherry liqueur. Complex spicy elements and a profound sense of elegance with power resound. Finishes all velvety. A brilliant wine with a lot more to come here in terms of unfurling and filling out. Best from 2025 and a decade or two after that." (10/2016)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The wines of this famed domaine, long known for its classic old style burgundies, do indeed improve with cellaring. The Domaine Roumier made some of the finest 1988s and their 1990s range from excellent to outstanding. The premier cru, Chambolle-Musigny-Les Amoureuses, is supple and elegant, with a flowery, finesse-filled bouquet, medium-bodied, concentrated flavors, low acidity, and light tannins in the velvety-textured finish. 1996 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1996 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien (93RP, 91ST, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This fabulous 1996 was tasted three times from bottle, and it is unquestionably the finest wine produced by this estate since their blockbuster 1990. Medium to full-bodied, with a saturated black/purple color, the nose offers notes of cedar, jammy black fruits, smoke, truffles, and subtle new oak. In the mouth, there is impressive fruit extraction, a tannic, full-bodied structure, and a classic display of power and finesse. The longer it sat in the glass, the more impressive the wine became. Backward, and massive in terms of its extract and richness, this should prove to be a sensational Leoville-Poyferre for drinking over the next three decades. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2028. 2013 Neal Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Neal Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. 100% organically grown grapes. From the winery: " ... This bottling reminds us of some of our best vintages with comparisons to 2001 and 2002. Coming from a warm and therefore ripe vintage, this year’s Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of cocoa, cassis and dark berry fruit plus hints of incense, earth and cedar notes from new French oak. As is our tradition, this is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with very dark color and a nice concentration of tannin that carries with it a firm, complex mouthful of flavors. The cherry (and surprisingly blueberry fruit) flavors sweetened by a chocolate character make the texture very mouthwatering. We hold the wine in barrel and in bottle longer than most Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon until convinced the texture has evolved and is ready to drink. This is a wine that will be greatly enhanced with decanting at a young age as evidenced by showing even better the day after opening. Addition

2015 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras, LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2015 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras, LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((96-100RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "All of the 2015s will be reviewed from bottle next year, but basically the yields were not off as much at Schrader as some other estates, the alcohol levels were relatively modest ranging between 14.3% and 14.5%. Characteristic of this vintage, there is magnificent fat, sucrosity and thickness on display in all of these wines. They are inky black/purple and seemingly low in acidity, but according to Thomas Rivers Brown the acids were quite sound and healthy. The tannins are present, but so well-disguised by the high levels of glycerin and sucrosity that they are not that noticeable. Several of these wines, including the Schrader, CCS, T6 and LPV have the potential for perfect scores. These will be thrilling to taste next year and will continue the incredible legacy that Schrader Cellars has developed over the years. (RP)" (10/2016)
