Bid on this bottle of 2011 J.-F. Coche-Dury Bourgogne Blanc (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Bourgogne Blanc has an intriguing bouquet: taut and linear, not a million miles from a Puligny-Montrachet. The palate is crisp on the entry with a fine line of acidity, remaining very strict with plenty of fresh lime and dried apricot furnishing the finish. This is precise and very pure, a sprightly white Burgundy to enjoy in its flush of youth. Drink now-2018. (NM)" (04/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne-Romanée (90JG, 89BH, (87-89ST), 87RP). John Gilman: "The 2007 Vosne-Romanée from Domaine Liger-Belair is a perfect example of just how well this vintage is beginning to drink at the present time, as it offers up a vibrant and very classy nose of red and black raspberries, Vosne spices, a touch of gamebird, lovely minerality, coffee and cedar. On the palate the wine is fullish, pure and quite defined by its minerality, with a succulent core of fruit, bright acids, just a touch of remaining tannins and lovely length and grip on the complex and quite elegant finish. Wine Enthusiast: "Aged for at least five years in the Lanson cellars before disgorgement, this is a blend of Grand Cru wines from the Côte des Blancs. It has signs of maturity in the hints of toast and almonds while showing a crisp, tightly mineral texture. It's a great food wine, very fresh with good depth of flavor. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine de Cristia "Cuvee Renaissance" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97JD, 96WS, 95RP, 93ST). Jeb Dunnuck: "In contrast, the 2010 Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape Renaissance - a 60/40 blend of Grenache and Mourvedre - is aged all in barrel, with the Grenache seeing only neutral oak and the Mourvedre aged all in new oak. Showing spectacularly, it offers a thrilling array of blackberry, cassis, wild herbs, flowers, and roasted meats, with only a hint of graphite showing from its stint in barrel. Every bit as good on the palate, with brilliant freshness, fantastic purity, and a powerful, yet focused overall mouth-feel, this knockout offering needs a solid 4-6 years of bottle age, and will have upwards of two decades of overall longevity. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The jellied, big, exotic 2002 Riesling Eiswein Kiedrich Grafenberg is a complete wine. It is massively rich yet not heavy, sweet but magnificently pure, and concentrated yet detailed. Medium-bodied, its lush tropical fruit and spice flavors are majestically delineated, complex, and intense. This is a spectacular Eiswein. Projected maturity: 2015-2040+. (PR)" (02/2004)

2001 Blankiet "Paradise Hills" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L)
Bid on this magnum of 2001 Blankiet "Paradise Hills" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is a great effort from Blankiet that has turned out beautifully, with a silky personality, voluptuous texture, beautiful nose of roasted herbs, burning embers, smoked meat, spring flowers, and plenty of blackberry and cassis. Almost La Mission Haut-Brion-ish in its character thanks to the minerality and smokiness, the wine is full-bodied, rich, concentrated, and has shed its once-considerable tannins, which are relatively rapid-paced. That said, as drinkable and complex as it is already, this wine still has another 20 years left in it. (RP)" (06/2011)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 E. Guigal "Château d'Ampuis" Côte-Rotie (96RP, 95JD, 94WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More masculine, backwards and concentrated, the 2005 Côte-Rotie Chäteau d’Ampuis is a full-bodied, structured effort that’s just barely starting to show some secondary nuances. Giving up notions of violet, asphalt, graphite, crushed rock, bacon fat and dried rose petal, it has impeccable balance, notable concentration and a big finish. Medium to full-bodied, big, dense, and chewy, this is a massively thick, profound offering. (PR)" (08/2001)

Silky and opulent yet weightless on entry, then fat and fruity in the middle, with excellent cut to the citrus and stone flavors. An opaque ruby/purple color is followed by a soft, precocious, evolved, up-front style with gorgeous black fruits, medium to full body, soft tannin, and good fatness allied to elegance and suppleness. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Rich, backwards, structured and massively concentrated, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon comes mostly from the Champoux Vineyard (also from Galitzine, Klipsun, Palengat and Tapteil) and is comprised of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot that spent 22 months in all new French oak. 1998 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan
Bid on this bottle of 1998 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (98RP, 96WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A candidate for the wine of the vintage from this somewhat forgotten year, consumers should be seeking out wines from the Right Bank and Graves as 1998 was a great vintage in those appellations. La Mission’s 1998 exhibits a healthy, opaque blue/purple color with no lightening at the edge. Thirty minutes of aeration brings forth a sensational bouquet of chocolate, cedar, truffles, graphite, blackberries, cassis and incense. La Mission’s so-called scorched earth/charcoal/hot rocks characteristic has not yet appeared. Full-bodied with superb purity, a multilayered texture, sweet tannin, good acidity and a fabulously long finish, this great, young La Mission-Haut-Brion’s finest days are yet to come. So much fruit comes charging out of the gate here: profound crème de cassis, baked blackberries and blackberry preserves with notions of beef dripping, crushed rocks, unsmoked cigar, sandalwood and dried lavender. Big, rich and beautifully impactful, it is completely packed with taut, muscular black and blue fruit preserves, maintaining nice firm grainy tannins with layer after layer of exotic spices, meat and earth notions, finishing epically long and minerally. Bid on this magnum of 2005 Benjamin Romeo "La Cueva del Contador" Rioja (1.5L) (97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 La Cueva del Contador (the second wine of Contador – determination based on tasting the grapes) is barrel-fermented in new oak followed by 12 months aging in barrique. Purple in color, it has an other-worldly perfume of smoky new oak, crushed stone, truffle, espresso, and assorted black fruits. This leads to an opulent wine with gobs of sweet fruit, incipient complexity, superb richness and texture, and a very long, pure finish. Opaque purple-colored, it has even better perfume than Clio. Already complex, it offers up a toasty aromatic array of violet, lavender, espresso, chocolate, blueberry compote, and blackberry liqueur. Smooth-textured and dense, the wine is rich and mouth-filling. It has a decade of aging potential at the least but is so juicy now that it would pair well with a 60-day dry-aged rib eye. It will show best between 2015 and 2030. (JM)" (02/2008)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1997 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby. Cassis, violet and lightly tarry, spicy oak. Ripe, dense and very concentrated; thick and deep. Not at all overly sweet or dominated by the wood. Has superb material and verve. Finishes very long, with thoroughly ripe tannins. The finest vintage for this wine in a long time, and one that avoids the excesses of (American) oak that have plagued so many recent vintages." Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard is a slightly tighter style of Pinot Noir, and lighter than the 2009. There is more acidity showing through, the fruit offering up various red and black fruits from pomegranate to plum to cassis, dark sweet cherries as well as foresty underbrush notes. Of the 1994 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 1994 boasts an inky/purple color along with a glorious nose of black raspberries, blackberries and black currants that is still somewhat primary despite nearly 18 years in bottle. The Phelps team kept this cuvee in 100% new French oak for 28 months. Its magnificent structure, intensity and purity of fruit, ripeness, balance combined with authoritative power and the magnetic appeal of this full-bodied, Bordeaux-styled wine are extraordinary. This amazing effort is just coming into its best years, and should drink well f

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Kistler "Cuvée Natalie - Silver Belt" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95VN, 94ST, 91RP). Vinous: "An eccentric, beguiling Pinot, the 2011 Pinot Noir Silver Belt Cuvée Natalie is long on personality. Heady, exotic aromatics meld into a core of beautifully layered fruit in an expressive yet weightless, ethereal Pinot that constantly changes in the glass. Game, savory herbs and tangerine peel all add nuance on the finish. The Cuvée Natalie is mostly Swan clone Pinot, with some Calera. Anticipated maturity 2014-2023. (AG)" (02/2014)

Bid on this magnum of 2003 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Reservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1.5L) (98RP, 97WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Starting with the 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reserve, this wine showed spectacularly on release, closed down for a few years, and has now emerged, at close to full maturity, and is straight-up fabulous. Out of the entire tasting, it remained my favorite. Giving up gorgeous blackberry, currants, garrigue, pepper and beef blood, it hits the palate with a massive, full-bodied texture that carries layers of sweet fruit, awesome concentration and blockbuster length. Tasting like the essence of both this estate and the terroir, it’s an incredible wine that I’m happy to taste/drink anytime. It will continue to evolve gracefully, but I see no reason to delay gratification. (JD)" (10/2014)

Wine Spectator: "This is an elegant, sinewy vintage that is just starting to hit its stride, with a strong sanguine and cedar frame to the core of dried red currant, cherry pit and red licorice notes. A racy iron note is now in full throat on the finish. The commanding minerality should carry this through a second stage of life. (JM, Web-2012)"

1996 Margaux, Margaux
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1996 Margaux, Margaux (100RP, 96ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1996 Chateau Margaux, a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, must be a strong contender for wine of the vintage. It offers everything you desire from this First Growth. It is blessed with breathtaking delineation and freshness on the nose, understated at first and then blossoming with mineral-infused black fruit, hints of blueberry, crushed stone and violet. The palate is perfectly balanced with filigree tannin, perfect acidity, a wine where everything seems to be in its right place. Blackberry, crushed stone at the front of the mouth, just a touch of spice towards the finish that shows supreme control. This is a Margaux that seems to light up the senses. It was outstanding in its youth...something that has not changed one bit over the intervening two decades. This may well turn out to be the Left Bank pinnacle of the 1990s. Tasted Ju

2012 Sine Qua Non "Stock" Central Coast Syrah
Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Sine Qua Non "Stock" Central Coast Syrah (98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A step up from the Grenache, the blockbuster-styled 2012 Syrah Stock checks in as a blend of 84% Syrah, 7% Grenache, 6% Petit Sirah, and the rest Viognier and Mourvedre, that was fermented with 32% whole clusters and aged in just over half new French oak. It offers stunning notes of blackcurrants, cassis, smoked meats, ground pepper and wild herbs to go with a full-bodied, unctuous, layered, yet always graceful and elegant feel on the palate. Nicely structured, with perfect overall balance, it still has the open-knit character of the vintage, yet has plenty of underlying structure, which at the moment is slightly hidden by the wine's lavish fruit. It will be better in 2-3 years, and have two decades of overall longevity. (JD)" (08/2015)

1995 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac
Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1995 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (95JS, 95RP, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bottled in June, 1997, this profound Mouton is more accessible than the more muscular 1996. A blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 19% Merlot, it reveals an opaque purple color, and reluctant aromas of cassis, truffles, coffee, licorice, and spice. In the mouth, the wine is 'great stuff,' with superb density, a full-bodied personality, rich mid-palate, and a layered, profound finish that lasts for 40+ seconds. There is outstanding purity and high tannin, but my instincts suggest this wine is lower in acidity and slightly fleshier than the brawnier, bigger 1996. Both are great efforts from Mouton-Rothschild. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2030. (RP)" (02/1998)

2015 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Bid on this bottle of 2015 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JS, 100RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the very deep purple-black colored 2015 Screaming Eagle leaps from the glass with notes of freshly crushed black currants, black cherries and blackberries with suggestions of cigar box, black raspberries, red currants, chocolates, pencil lead and cast-iron pan plus a touch of potpourri. Medium to full-bodied with a rock-solid backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and oodles of freshness, it features the most incredible black and red fruit layers and finishes with incredible vibrancy and depth. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good bright, full red. Knockout high-pitched perfume combines red cherry, licorice, minerals and blood orange. Pungent and precise in the mouth, with bracing flavors of red fruits and minerals. Tightens up considerably on the very long, bracing, aromatic finish. This has the structure and verve for a graceful evolution in bottle. (ST)" (01/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Domaine Michel Lafarge Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des Chenes" (92RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted at the Clos des Chênes vertical, the 1998 Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chênes was one of the surprise packages within the flights of recent vintages. Frédéric Lafarge commented that this was a vintage "for those that worked hard." It has a surprisingly aromatic, almost corpulent bouquet with black plum, Hoisin and wild strawberry sprinkled with white pepper and a hint of morel mushrooms. The palate has a wonderful sense of balance, real finesse here with lace-like tannin and an exquisite, harmonious vintage that really dispels the notion of this being a difficult Burgundy vintage. Frédéric and Michel Lafarge must have worked very hard this year. (NM)" (11/2015)
