Moët & Chandon "Nectar Impérial" Rosé Champagne

Vinous: "Orange-pink with a vigorous mousse Creamy orange, cherry and strawberry preserves on the nose. Rich and velvety, with sweet tangerine and red berry flavors carrying through the finish. This would be nice with blue cheeses. (JR)" (11/2006) Wine & Spirits: "This rosé's sweet strawberry flavors balance a kick of spice and rich undertones of nuts. The acidity is ample enough to support the waxy texture and sweet fruit. Serve with a tart aux fraise or strawberry shortcake." (12/2009) Wine Enthusiast: "This is a ripe, lightly pink-colored wine, full of red fruits as well as crisp acidity. It is sof ...Read More »

Antonio Barbadillo "Obispo Gascón" Palo Cortado

92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The NV Palo Cortado Obispo Gascon, produced from Palomino grapes averaging 20 years old, and shows the telltale nose of Palo Cortado with its lactic touch and an off-dry nose of apricots, blond tobacco and spices. The palate is dominated by the salty notes (common to all Barbadillo wines), sharp, medium-bodied, with great length. Drink 2013-2019. (LG)" (8/2013) 91 points Wine Spectator: "A plump style, with glazed peach, toasted pecan and ginger notes backed by elegant green tea, ginger and incense accents. 1992 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1992 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was released in August, 1996, and was sold out within 24 hours. It possesses that tell-tale Silver Oak, lavishly oaky, Provencal herb, sweet, smoky, jammy black-cherry and cassis-scented nose. Full-bodied, opulent, and succulent, this creamy-textured, luscious, low acid wine should continue to drink well for 10-12+ years. These All-American Cabernet Sauvignons continue to be "can't miss" propositions with the majority of Cabernet lovers. (RP)" (12/1996)

1994 Etude Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Back In Stock!
1994 Etude Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tony Soter's Cabernet Sauvignon has been a model of consistency. The awesomely rich 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon is another spectacular example of this splendid vintage. It possesses an opaque purple color, a wonderful sweetness, full body, and layers of cedary, mineral, and spice-tinged black berry and cassis fruit. Although there is a boatload of tannin, it is sweet and well-integrated. The finish lasts for nearly 30 seconds. This dazzling Cabernet Sauvignon gets my vote as the finest Cabernet Sauvignon Tony Soter has yet made at Etude. As insiders know, th ...Read More »

Redbreast 21 Year Old Pure Pot Still Irish Whiskey (750ml)

96 points Whisky Advocate: "Wow! After the wonderful 12 year old cask strength, Redbreast does it again. This is a different beast altogether, but it is a stunner. This is Roger Waters doing The Wall: over the top, unsubtle, and totally entertaining. There’s lots going on: fermenting apples, juicy oils, spice, and dark cherry and berry fruits zip and fizz over the palate, the wood influence is sublime. I'm comfortably numb. Los Danzantes "Los Nahuales" Anejo Mezcal (750ml) [Cannot ship]

[Cannot ship. Will call pick up only.] We've long sold the Danzantes mezcales at K&L (now known as "Los Nahuales" in the U.S. due to a trademark issue with the Danzantes name), but until today I never really understood where they stood in comparison to the other selections we carry. They're following the tequila model, which is the standard blanco, reposado, and añejo progression; choosing to market familiarity rather than specifics. The brand has actually enjoyed more success abroad with the Alipus portfolio, simply because of the wilder flavor profil... Read More »

2005 Chateau de Fonsalette "Réservé" Côtes-Du-Rhone

This blend of 50% Grenache, 35% Cinsault, and 15% Syrah has a dark ruby/purple color and a beautifully structured style with notes of black truffle, licorice, black currant, and sweet cherry intermixed with some crushed rock and flowers. The wine is beautifully broad, savory, and exceptionally well-delineated and focused. This is a magnificent wine that should be at its best between 2010 and 2025." Exotic, beguiling and beautifully layered, the 2011 boasts stunning depth, yet weightless elegance and tons of pure personality. The racy, explosive finish is a marvel to behold. 2005 Honig Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Honig's 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of fruit from Honig's own sustainably farmed vineyard in Rutherford and from local Napa vineyards. The vintage's long growing season allowed for plenty of hang time, resulting in a concentrated wine with balanced acids. On the nose it packs a one-two punch, with vibrant red fruit aromas followed by spice, vanilla and sweet tea. It is round on the palate, finishing with supple, cocoa powder tannins.

Adrien Camut 18 year old Privilege Calvados Pays d'Auge (750ml)

The spirit opens with baked apple aromas and then transitions into ripe red apples with some nutty notes from the extensive barrel aging. The Camut line of Calvados always show better with age, as the double distillation, while making them more neutral in their youth, frees the spirit from impurities that show with age. The palate is soft, rich and oozing with baking spice, intense earth and cooked pomme fruit. It is the top of the line for 15+ year old Calvados.

Lively, finely etched, nicely concentrated red fruit flavors expand and gain sweetness with air, picking up notes of red licorice, spicecake and rose pastille. The story of Monkey 47 gin is romantic: in 1951, a British man named Montgomery Collins moved to Germany's Black Forest and opened a guesthouse named "Zum wilden Affen"--the wild monkey.
