2015 Domaine Faiveley Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru

92-94 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Notes of green apple, citrus zest, mineral reduction and soft floral nuances introduce powerful and punchy broad-shouldered flavors that possess a textured mouth feel before culminating in an almost painfully intense finish that goes on and on. This is really quite good and it's a wine that should be approachable after only a few years of bottle age yet reward up to a decade of cellaring." (6/2017) 93 points Vinous: "Pale, bright yellow. Pungent scents of crushed citrus peel, ginger and metallic minerality; higher-pitched and spicier than the Bâtard. At once ripe, smooth and ...Read More »

2015 Domaine Blain-Gagnard 1er Cru Chassagne Montrachet "La Boudriotte"

91 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A discreet application of wood sets off the mildly exotic aromas of pear and apple liqueur-like nuances. The full-on, rich and overtly powerful flavors are blessed with copious amounts of dry extract before terminating in a balanced, clean and attractively dry and citrus-infused finish that delivers sneaky good length. While this could easily be enjoyed young, a few years of age should help to augment the depth." (6/2017)

2015 Domaine Robert-Denogent Pouilly-Fuisse "La Croix Vieilles Vignes"

91-93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Pouilly Fuisse la Croix Vieilles Vignes has a very pure and well-defined bouquet with fresh lemon and lime, a touch of yellow flower emerging with time, dandelion, even a hint of burdock. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, good weight in the mouth with a hint of hazelnut and just the amount of bitterness on the finish to keep you coming back for more. My advice is to hold some bottles back for as long as you can because this should evolve into a compelling Pouilly-Fuissé. One of my priorities returning to Mâconnais after a s ...Read More »

2015 Domaine Dujac Morey-St-Denis "Luisants" Blanc

88-91 points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "The difficult nose is currently dominated by sulfur and is unreadable. There is less richness but more refinement and more minerality to the medium-bodied flavors that offer a bit more overall depth and length. This too should drink well early on yet benefit from a few years of keeping." (1/2017) 89-91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Mont Luisants Blanc offers very subtle hints of white chocolate and blanched almonds on the nose that opens with enthusiasm in the glass. The palate is fresh and vibrant with very fine salinity. It is pierced by a keen line of ac ...Read More »
