2012 Suñer Bibiloni Ca Sa Padrino "Montenegro" Binissalem (Mallorca) (Previously $20)

SKU #1166026

A fresh, juicy, wine from the Binissalem D.O. on the island of Mallorca, this is a lovely red that shows a refreshingly light touch, with delicious berry fruit flavors and a gentle, round mouthfeel. It's a lovely bottle of island red to enjoy now - an accompanying plate of sobresada, the tasty, spreadable local chorizo, is optional, though highly recommended! Red wine from Mallorca, you say? Why, yes indeed! We have had this pretty little wine on our shelves for some time, but revisiting it this week, I was struck again by how lovely it is. I would like to think it shows the light-hearted joyfulness of the island- red cherry, dried apricots, tarragon, and dried orange peel with medium plus acidity and soft, easy tannin. Fun, bright, fresh and very easy to drink. Crazy price for such a great wine!
