I've been saying it for the past seven years: red wine value is centered in Spain. Obviously, there is more to wine than just the flavor. There's intrigue, history, legendary vineyard sites, etc. But there's something to be said for just a great wine at a great price, and with the Lambuena, you're not sacrificing any of the above mentioned characteristics. Lambuena's fruit is grown in one of the best terroir locations in the Ribera del Duero, they add a touch of Merlot, a al Vega Sicilia, and the fruit is bio-dynamically grown. And, again, it's juicy, delicious, deep, and engrossing, and it's $12.99.
