2011 Seresin Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
Bright, pale yellow. Sexy, complex nose offers subtle stone fruit aromas complicated by pepper and spices. Supple and round yet also quite penetrating, with lovely inner-mouth perfume to the stone fruit and spice flavors. This juicy, complex sauvignon finishes suave and long.
Zesty and focused and razor-sharp. Fruity rather than mineral but with great structure and I just about believe them when they say drink until 2016. Very well done! Real persistence and interest. Bone dry too. Obviously superior. Well done for taking so much trouble to raise themselves above the parapet. (17/20 points)

A blend of 89% Sauvignon Blanc and 11% Semillon, naturally fermented with 15% fermented in old French oak barriques, the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc is intensely scented of ripe grapefruit, green guava and nectarines with hints of fresh sage and asparagus. Medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with tropical fruit and herbal flavors lifted by crisp acid, finishing with very good persistence.
The lime, grapefruit and floral notes are restrained, with plenty of spicy aromatics and pretty apple blossom notes. Features plenty of acidity to keep the flavors precise. Drink now. 300 cases imported. (Web-2013)
