2005 Les Crete Torrette

SKU #1034067

Tucked into the northwestern corner of Italy, the vineyards of Valle d'Aosta are located on steep mountain slopes, situated 550-850 meters above street level. Surprisingly, the region's wine production is about 90 percent red, generally made from fumin or, like this Torrette, predominantly petite rouge. Bright, fruit-filled and a bit Beaujolais-like, this wine is fine and elegant with vibrant acidity, great for your favorite northern Italian meal.
