1995 Lopez de Heredia "Vina Gravonia," Crianza (Blanco)

SKU #1020694

88 points from Josh Reynolds of Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar. He says, "Amber-tinged gold. Deep, nutty , exotic aromas of apricot, poached pear, vanilla and toffee. Rich and weighty, with a hint of acidity perking up the almost caramelized apple, pear and toffee flavors. Finishes on a note of floral honey. I imagine those who require primary fruit in their white wines will find this to be a bit peculiar I 'd serve it with rich fish dishes or pungent cheeses. (Spe/Oct 06)
